Hi Mel5, the issue for me is as sad as I am I read all of the messages on this board and for all the ramping and deramping of the folk on both sides the SP just continues to make a steady decline.
We remain at the whim of the blood sucking MM’s and MVR appear unwilling or unable to do anything to stop that decline.
What concerns me is we have yet another two years of being at these levels or even lower. Why 2 years? Firstly because the longer we wait to hear news of the introduction of the paid for live shows the less those numbers will be in the 2020 accounts reported next year. Therefore to get a realistic picture of the growth of the business it will be much clearer in the 2021 accounts that won’t be visible until 2022.
Many people and institutions see the potential of the business but so far the market does not believe them. All it sees is a business with little revenue, a large cost base and until some TRUE sustainable financial numbers are produced, this share will remain where it is if not even lower on the fear of yet another placing which we all know will come.
Where I am is my own fault, no one else’s and my own sanity is suggesting I should sell up on the next decent rise and accept the loss I will inevitably make.
This is just pure frustration that I am venting, nothing more. As I said above, it’s my own fault and I’m annoyed with myself.
Hi Sc4tman, there will be a rise in the near future, most experienced traders will now purchase and realise their profit on the next rise of the SP, as a long term investor you could purchase double your current holding therefore reducing your average and sell when it reaches 6p+, as undoubtedly without MelodyVR providing a day to day financial report there will be rises and falls.
I understand your frustration, however this is what AIM share do!! IMO
The problem I see here is Horsey is right in his statement about the rise and fall of the share price, it’s obvious and there for all to see but yet some people just ridicule him.
I am still holding now after 3 years and I realise what an absolute idiot I’ve been to hold. I nearly sold up yesterday and accepted my loss but for some stupid reason I didn’t. I must be a gluten for punishment.
This share is beyond frustrating and I feel on the next decent rise I will find it very difficult to not sell up and be put out my misery.
3 years wasted.......
Regarding the future of MelodyVR, it has to be remembered that prior to the LN partnership MelodyVR was adding and continues to add artists, they have other high level partnerships and produced such broadcasts as GMA, the LN production are in partnership with O2 a previous partner prior to the LN relationship.
As stated many times before, MelodyVR are part of an industry wide development of VR and alternative productions, MelodyVR have technology and the means to add significant income to are parts of the Music / Entertainment industry, the MelodyVR Team have been ‘picked and placed’ into MelodyVR for a very good reason ‘making money’, the monetary benefits to the industry are very easy to see!! If anyone wants to leave and invest in the next rainbow investment ‘the door is open’ BYE, BYE!!
MelodyVR is leading a vision, it’s a creative company led by an experienced ‘Team’ and advised by Mature Industry consultants of which most are investors!
IMO
Hes not going to sell anything the guys just a complete attention seeker. I very much doubt hes a paid deramper as hes so bad at it unlike the Modeller who at least attempts to add an element of reason behind his lies. The horse is just a whiny cry baby, doesn't even hold that many shares so why spend so much time bleating about it? Just sell up and leave but I 100% assure you he wont cos he knows it's a sure fire long term winner but he cant handle being a few quid down. Pathetic individual.
Horse is a paid deramper ignore or filterer him simples
Horse.
Your perception of MVR is based on your duration being an investor. You obviously have been here a while. Can you honestly say that Melody (today) is what Melody was circa. 1-2 years ago? Steps are being made in a relatively new and unchartered territories and such progress 'day to day' is hard to identify.
We have just had a partnership agreement with LN. To pull out now is (IMO) is 'textbook' example of how retail investors lose money. You've bought on high interest (appreciate hard not to), and now selling when 'smart' investors are buying.
C'est le vie. Best of luck.
Horsi, the opportunity to sell if one can tag it was when sp crossed 5. If the tech is of interest you must not give up. Continue to hold, stay calm (it’s difficult) and f..k the mm.
the problem for me alex is that in the past melody has made good news and its sp has risen followed by a sustained drop only to rise again on the next good news. However the good news produces less advances in the sp each time followed by a faster drop. It would appear that generally investors are becoming inured to the "good news" and are losing faith. I still believe in the concept but its implementation is failing so i propose to sell a portion of my investment, its not that large anyway, and maybe re-invest on what may be really good news which i expect would be confirmation of reasonable revenue. i can wait meanwhile i will try to make a small but prolonged profit on other investments.
Horse.
With respect, that’s your problem. Buying on good news. Along with all the other hoards of retail investors who pile in to create a spike and then stand in amazement when it’s short lived and drops. This is where retail investors lose their money.
You need to reverse your mentality and buy when the share is low and sell when everyone’s buying if your wanting to ‘trade’. It perhaps seems counter intuitive but that’s the way it is. The drop in the SP has created fear and most investors jump ship like Mel suggests, with a tiny profit, but more commonly a loss.
The fundamentals haven’t changed. We’re expecting to learn of the Live from Brixton artists / events very shortly which will attract revenue. And your tempted to sell, now?????????
It’s great you all making a decision Horse.mouth, the SP has taken its usual pattern in this share, fantastic news and the potential is realised by long term investors and the SP is driven up, the LTH retain their shares, short term traders then sell for profit or loss and the SP goes down, the Longterm holders haven’t lost because they did sell, they then buy more and build the stake holding ready for the jigsaw to be completed. If you get out now, don’t look back, because you as a long term shareholder know the true potential, the reason you are still here is because it’s the share that has potential, I expect you have held BooHoo and sold too early, it’s frustrating ‘yes’ but will it be worth the wait???? Keep believing, be positive and the SP will follow!! GLA
i am down 5 grand in just a few days, really beginning to think this is a blind alley, going to start to bail out. dont care how big the promise of this company is, i can always buy back in on some really good news, long term good news.
huge drop in sp in just 4 days, from 5p down into the 3s, masseeev!!!
theres your proof!
