Last March you could have put your money into almost any blue chip company and at least doubled it in 10 months. This dog of a share has gone down in value.
Jet2 as low as £2.50 now £14. EasyJet, Greggs - the list goes on.
But like you say, come rain or shine, pandemic or whatever, Melody share holders don't budge (yet still consider themselves investors).
Talking of pandemics, if a company whose main product is virtual entertainment can't make money when the whole world is shut up in their houses you need to ask are they ever going to make money?
this share does drive me crazy! still here and still both hopeful and expectant for the future, but it does drive me crackers, because it always feel like such a short hop to get this going, but one that never materialises.

ya were deep in the rabbit hole. What's funny is that all the moaning and criticizing falls on dead ears. I think some on this board seriously believe AM and the BOD discuses your posts.
well upward momentum has certainly been killed off since this mistake. Trying to push 2.85p now. Brilliant
I wouldn't worry about it. There are a small handful of people on here who are deep underwater in this share. You won't ever see them criticising the company for anything, because they're in way too deep to be objective. Just ignore them, like everyone else does.
Trust me I'm not worked up
Who's worked up ?
why is everyone getting worked up - it could just be paperwork landing from US
this is Britain not US or South Korea
if I was I would be dead cross with you boyo
maxbda napster group ltd was incorporated on the 26th jan, with just matchett as the sole director etc.i assume they did this to protect the name napster group plc, so as to avoid a repeat of the postman problem.if you do a name availability search the limited version is the only one that would bar the use of the group name. so they were ahead of the game at that point. no idea what has happened to cause delay now.bearing in mind han**** is speaking at the pulse event tomorrow at 4.30 i imagine they will be anxious to get the name registered by tomorrow if they can.personally while accepting that it doesn't look good I'm not too bothered about it.small beer in the overall scheme of thing in my opinion.many will disagree.interstingly they are tidying up the registry entries it seems,as the recent recording of hansons retirement as a director was only done a few days ago but he resigned some time back in 2020.
Thebadbat
As I am brain-dead /stupid but also think I know it all
According to yourself
Are you actually my wife using an alias ??:))
Hi thebadbat
Thank you for the insults
I mentioned the change of name as they didn't get it changed on the date they ment to last time
Not that they didnt change it to Napster as napster wasn't on the table back then :))
TheBadBat, it is sort of pathetic, but in a way it is not.
The Company name "Napster Group Ltd" is most definitley a new name, recently incorporated
Whereas the company name "MelodyVR Group PLC" was in fact an old company first incorporated in 2005 and has indeed experienced a number of name changes - go and look at the filing history
https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/05628362/filing-history
I would suggest that if you are going to create a monster company then you don't really want one wi
I cannot believe how pathetic some posters are, they come across has know-it-alls, yet they seem totally braindead. Stupid comments like "look they've change there name twice". REALLY. Clearly shows a lack of business knowledge.
So I suppose the fool who made the above statement thought they should have changed the name to Napster back in 2020.
Amen to that MrH.
If their not getting the basics right then ......
Also if you make mistakes learn from them
Two name changes in how many months they could at least got it right second time around
company website and corporate issues are *******s and only interests lawyers and accountants
what customer wants is what matters for shareholders
who gives a crap on whats on corporate pages
When artists return to perform and we have regular releases - all this will fade away
SP is down because its not a quick return, everyone wants a quick return
lets not forget that they have undertaken in effect to appoint lansing davis to the board, so expect news on this, and possibly other changes, shortly.
Matt Eccles, Scott Javor and Bill Patrizio (ex CEO) have been placed in Senior Manager positions according to the admissions doc.
On the flip side to some of the negative sentiment, these guys have been responsible for constantly declining Napster revenues in the last few years. Do we really want them steering the ship at board level when new tech and fresh thinking is required to drive the business forward?Several posters have been praising Dollens and Lansing Davis as new appointments recently so why not trust them to guide the company in the right direction?
I personally don't consider this to be a huge disadvantage when they can still contribute and offer their experience behind the scenes.
...and yes Lofas, I think there will soon be a change of leadership at the top. Someone who can manage the merged business, new board and take us forward.
Everyone who is here complaining about how bad they are in terms of things like the "website still saying Rhapsody" / "Not getting the name change right on the first day" etc have never worked in a company under sale or a merger EVER.
These things take time. It's a simple thing for me to do sitting in my room all day but when it comes to companies, things move S L O W
Agreed BA. People seem to remember that Napster (pre-Melody) were underperforming. They remained stagnant for years, seemingly happy with their loyal users and zero motivation for a better life. Mass Changes are needed at Melody and Napster to push the merged businesses forward. I’ll be pleased that there’s a mass clear out, IF (as I suspect) we replace with better, experienced bods. We want to compete with the big boys don’t we?
everyone knows there will be a unified website, platform and app
customers do not go look for board members -
when sainsburys and argos came together i dont think customers stopped going to either because of whats on the corporate pages
but I am expecting a decent M&A experienced manager from states who will merge the businesses and ideally they should poach someone from a big company
Unless you look at the U.S. website of course, which still shows a completely different BoD under the 'Rhapsody' name - https://us.napster.com/about
This is a real dog's dinner. Exactly the sort of amateurish, half-arsed shambles we've come to expect from this company.
https://napster.group/board-and-committee/
it is true - nobody from Napster on the Board of Napster Group
maxdba is it possible you could post a link to what you are looking at please?.it would be very helpful.thanks
