Looking at the last final results RNS as far as I can see there were no warrants due to expire now? I might have missed them, or they have lapsed/already been converted.
Out of interest does anyone know if warrants can be converted during a close period. The AIM rules aren't totally clear?
FYI - Birmingham Hippodrome just emailed me to say they're ticketing a pretty desperate sounding attempt to raise some cash via a show with a few of the guys and gals from the West End's Phantom of the Opera with car drive-in and "picnic pitches" (at the end of September?!).
All very desperate IMO and they must surely know they're going to take a bath on it - if it even goes ahead.
Sad, sad days for live theatre :/
albert i think someone did post a day or two ago suggesting that some of the warrants had already been exercised before the ris.,don't know if that is the case, but it might explain matters.
Forfeited when they left the company perhaps?
Sorry to disappoint Puddin, my average is well below 5p lol. Happy investor right here.
You hate the fact JGORE paid more than 15p a share.
You dislike the notion that warrants at 9p have been exercised.
It's like you've invested far too much, sold up here, made a huge loss and you're desperate to drag other PIs down with you.
Its hilarious and very comical.
I'm holding my shares, not selling and largely ignoring the SP because Melodys only at the beginning (and I'm already up!). When the LN News comes, you're whining and melancholic tones will be drowned out. Actually, it's that point you go quiet.....
If someone has not taken c2m shares at close to 1p when the SP is currently in the 4s then, clearly, there will be other reasons for that rather than them having any negative perception of the company's prospects :)
It's impossible to tell where these numbers come from, but with 7 million plus new shares issued, these could be part of most of the options/warrants listed on pages 44/45 if the last statement.
One thing seems certain. As last Friday's expirers totalled 9 million plus, at least some have been allowed to lapse. This might explain why the market is unhappy.
All IMO
So an employee, not a director with a hidden agenda. Very interesting.
@DBL77 - I imagine it is - interesting ...
Alex make my day did you get spiked ?
Usual crap from Alex , let’s focus on 9p when majority/all was 1.2p . Oh look the share price fallen again reflecting last weeks pump .
Is this them?
"The Group operates an approved enterprise management incentive scheme under which employees have been granted options to purchase shares in MelodyVR Group PLC."

There's no way to read what's going on which is exactly how they like it.
The "9p" thing could be waving to hapless PIs or it could be a genuine thing as others have pointed out where someone knows something so cannot buy on the open market.
I really have no idea which it is but usually on AIM, if in doubt assume the worst but again, there's no way to know until you're told - this drop is on nothing volume so I'm inclined to think it's a share-grab/stop hunt but who knows.
Either way, there's obviously something afoot and I'm reaching for the popcorn ...
Death by a thousand share issues , what a way to go.Its been an exciting August.
all IMO.
Naïve to the machinations of markets here, but why would the SP tank on the back of that RNS?
1p warrants being sold off to take immediate profit?
thanks A1EX.i will try and look later, probably tonight.
Mr H you little tease ;)
Hi Italian.
I've looked myself this morning and can't track down anything detailed concerning the 9p warrant.
@Lofa. We're moving away from last weeks 25% lift. We're end up bouncing about 4p without any further news.
But questions still remain valid as to what that increase was due to. We can only speculate as MVR remains quiet!
No probs A1ex I’m only teasing. For the 9p warrants to be exercised at this stage, someone knows this is about to rocket fast; looks like they’re positioning themselves at this stage
problem A1EX is that there is no breakdown of proportions,so hard to judge if it's significant or nor .i do accept though that to exercise any, even a small amount ,at 9p raises questions as to why. can you or anyone set out where the option details for 9p are to be found.ive got a difficult day today in terms of looking and if anyone has this info to hand it would be good.surely the identity of the potential exercisers(s) is important.thnks.
Alex
Half and sliding fast.
MVR days on Aim Now must be numbered.
Hello Mr H! I read everyone's, apart form Puddins, have the beano comic for comedy.
Discussions tend to go around in circles so only nip in on the odd occasion now, the investor group chat is the place to be ;)
So, 9p warrants exercised. Valid up to 2028? Under what circumstances would this not be possible?
Full takeover and MVR being pulled off the market? Transition to another trading market (Nasdaq)? Sorry i'm very keen to learn here what business related movements would 'encourage' options being taken at 9p when SP is half that...!! It's an extremely confident move....
Good to see you read other people’s posts A1ex :-)
The 9.0p warrants dont expire til 2028. Now why would someone convert warrants at a 100% premium 8 years early? It's almost like they know the share price is going to be significantly higher very soon...
The 9p warrants dont expire until 2028. Now why might someone exercise warrants at a 100% premium 8 years early? Its almost like they know the share price is going to be significantly higher very soon and theyre not allowed to buy on the open market. Now why could that be do we think?
