He'll respawn as someone else.
I'm sure he'll be back with another name very soon
I blame the company for not playing to the market
but I dont blame them for creating business and getting more things under the belt for customers
but yes why it doesn't happen today and now and when I want it, that is definitely immature
my personal wealth is just chance and circumstance, not linked to any company
of course if you or others were that bright then better than this company then why got involved in the first place ?
Caveat emptor
shot in the foot by his first post me thinks!
Farewell VictorWhateveryournamewas. We hardly knew ye.
Wanted for crimes against himself!!
well our new poster didn't last long!
"As for why it didn't happen today and this month and now when I want it"
This is a pretty flimsy attempt at deflecting legitimate criticism. It'd be a bit more credible if the company itself hadn't made an announcement via RNS, which it has subsequently failed to execute. It raises a question of basic competence. If they can't get a simple name change right, why should we automatically assume they're in complete control of their more complex challenges?
For Customers and Content
Napster will have to compete against others and NOT just spotify
+
Relatively less competitive new markets like Asia and South America
That's where Singtel and O2 will work
Same scenario with Content
For Audio Napster will have to compete against others and NOT just spotify
For Video/Stream/Live/VR - Napster will offers better and more with a single plan
As for why it didn't happen today and this month and now when I want it
well that's just immature
For all those who think the current sp is the best it’s going to get - sell up and move on. Like you say, there are lots of (other) multi-baggers out there.
Victor Meldrew cannot let this share go - it’s great. I bet he is still in love with the first person who accidentally brushed his knee back in junior school

2% of Spotify is about 5 million subscribers. I can't believe Melody/Napster won't manager that. And if they can tip it into profit which Spotify never do, even better.

God may well know what is going on at JG.
So would you if you bothered to look at his website.

that's not modest, its the very best every company serving people should always aim to do.
everything else happens by itself
JimiMarsahall, how about the company sets it sights a little lower and tries to double its subscribers in the first year
I know its modest, I know it does not have the vaulting ambition of world domination by VR
But...
I think could be achieved
It would double revenue from $100M to $200M
It would put them in a position where the VR division would be being paid for without tapping shareholders.
Shame the company couldn’t change minor contact details, especially at the high annual administration costs.
Luckily the fundamentals remain with the music industry worth £50mil, if Napster/MelodyVR’s new app gets just 2% of the market then we are a effectively billion pound company. Current Mcap is just 75mil, cheap.
It seems that now we have napster melody and vr has been forgotten, we have now had no new content or live shows for over 2 months its AM old toy and it's been thrown out now he's got a bigger train set!
He is, and will continue to dilute all our shareholding's and unfortunately it appears there is no one in a position to stop him.
The only person that I had hoped might have done something is John Gore but god knows what's going on there!

Pointless trying to second guess though isn’t it; you’re just driving yourself (and others?) nuts. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
No need to respond to this.
Yes people do seem to be getting ‘twitchy’ don’t they
MrH ...Stop being the Trojan horse.... They the directors need to put out a serious statement very quickly, before they loose all their loyal long term investors.
Even Big Gib on Twitter seem’s to be getting twitchy.

I have not provided ‘justification’ or an ‘excuse’. I’m just giving a possible reason for the lack of activity. Maybe the feedback from the staged studio gigs was that it was poor and awkward without an interactive audience? That was certainly my own opinion.
Maybe the poor feedback didn’t justify the expense. If so, it wasn’t ‘under-used’ but rather it wasn’t considered a big enough success. Understandable if so, as above.
It’s not just ‘no of concerts’ that need to be considered; whilst volume is important, the no of users who have paid to watch the concert is more important for me. I would hope to start seeing some big names to help promote the re-born Napster brand, which should feed into the financials.
Not all concerts will need to be shown in VR, as the LG Thames experienced proved. I hope to see a good balance between VR and 360.
Again, you are just guessing that LN have ditched the relationship with us. I don’t believe this to be the case.
The social media performance is low key. I would be astounded if that continued. The coming have openly stated they look at timing and VR adoption figures for guidance on strategy. They have also said they don’t want to be seen as jumping on the COVID bandwagon, which a poorly timed and produced ad campaign may well do.
The only people talking incessantly on here at present are those impatient ‘traders’ disappointed they are stuck here. These people do not concern those who believe in the company long-term.
There will be news this week, as per the latest RNS.
Not here to rub anyone up the wrong way...but the whole management need sacking, SH AM NL...i lost over 100k in this stock and in over 3mnths due to ARB, RBW to name a few, i am back where I started when i invested in MVR but the annoying thing is i should have saddled up and took my losses earlier- joke of a company couldn't make hay when the sun shone and the whole world was in a lockdown. The more i think about the management the more incensed i get. Even now no one has heard of MVR and everyone uses Spotify. No news from IRelations.
I can see the argument for that sentiment, but I can also see a benefit of waiting for crowds to return, so the experience is not a poor one. Only get one shot with new users; if they don’t feel like they’re ‘there’ they won’t get the point of our VR offering
"if a company whose main product is virtual entertainment can't make money when the whole world is shut up in their houses you need to ask are they ever going to make money?"
Yes, this is the company's biggest failing. Letting this opportunity completely pass them by is unforgivable and yet, here we are. The dopes here saying 'people will be allowed back in to concerts soon, so then we'll be flying' have, predictably, completely missed the point.
If you think VR is just about sitting on the couch, then you are wrong
How about applying this to concerts
Investors Chronicle :
Trading Aim shares is a popular pastime for many punters. They come with dreams of getting rich quick and, in the fullness of time, often leave empty-handed.
Eg.... Sirius Minerals, Lions Gold, Pcge ... to mention a few !!!! What’s to get hung about.
Could it be a Shell company, or a lack of direction, oh it’s fine every thing is coming SOOOOOOOOOON.
Frustrating, who going to dip in the £90 to listen Steve Han####, to what he’s going to say.
