Sure is. The rns hints at 2 camps basically slugging it out for ascendancy. C'mon, pull together: mtvw is solvent, has bags of history and appears to have a relatively unique business model. Funny old world...gla.
That's good news: profits and turnover up, total assets climbing, Still squabbling in the ranks over re-election of directors but don't we just love a good soap opera. GL holders, spectators.
I'm not overly worried, I bought a little more today.
By my count you'll have received dividends worth almost 27% of your initial investment, or 4.5% annually, which isn't too awful.
At some point this'll head back towards £15, although it may well dip towards £9 before then if things continue to go wrong in the wider market this year. One for patient investors.
This is getting a bit worrying, now lower than what I paid six years ago. Only holding now because the dividend is very good.
£120 a share...well that's some consideration when investing here. This year's curiosity company for me, well run, micro managed: had a bit of fun and profit previously with CAM,HCFT then BMTO so let's wait and see. GL holders, spectators.
In this for the long haul, but share price keeps falling and is now at what I paid five years ago. Way undervalued imo.
A revaluation is out of the question for the time being according to the Chairman. You could, if you had loads of time on your hands do your own, of the regulated tenancies at least by ploughing through the VOA website (ignore the list of housing association and agricultural tenancies) then playing about with the address on Rightmove to get a capital value with vacant possesion.
There is talk on other boards of a revaluation, which would surely increase the share price . The fact is, property prices have gone up considerably over the last few years yet the share price has stayed more or less the same.
Deep value here in my opinion
Big drop today, but no idea why? Its almost as if house prices have suddenly fallen by 5%, looks very odd. Still, a buying opportunity methinks.
Anyone any idea why recent price increase? Brexit conclusion? Seen as a safe haven?
Those who understand why, w
Surprised this share is so low, a great hedge in the Covid crisis, regulated tenants all by definition are long term, mainly elderly, reliable payers, many with HB help. If on HB, subsidy paid to them is not penalised for bedroom tax or under occupation/size criteria as in social housing or post 1989 tenancies. Will be topping up.
It is still going up, slowly but surely. The fair rent tenancies they buy must becoming increasingly scarce, but the stock of these tenancies they hold is big enough to keep us all going for a long time.
Safe as houses, as they say, and this company echoes that, shares have crept up very slowly over last few weeks. Not sure why, perhaps seen as a safe haven.
any ideas as to who is involved
Not sure why share price keeps dropping. Reflection of property value drops across the country?
any real news yesterday i overslept
will Bev 88 be attending the average cost of aquisitions has much increased perhaps a couple of multie million aquisitions are included
sometimes i am right
res//ults precis due june 14 its the only thing likely to motivate a realistic share price
i note simon thompson has given up recently
today they dont make sense as they dont even add up arithmetically i have found this repeatedly sales are logged as buys and vice versa
Hope you enjoyed div. last week. Yes there is a fair spread and few sellers as we holders know they are worth way more than current price. I regard this as a core hold, churning out solid results year on year with divs to match. The boss sticks to his knitting and has a good team round him. Rising interest rates don't matter as borrowings are low. I look forward with quiet confidence to results in a few weeks. Continue to enjoy the journey!
day afterday all red dominates but try and buy at any where near the prices and its a whole different ball game what say u Bev 88
