Oh dear, 2 green boxes.
Ha ha good ones Misters Smoke and Matlot.
Teaboy hasn’t been as active lately here, wonder if they lowered his pay rate...
Anyhooo
Good things for metro in short and medium term.
Bring on the events and updates...
Coiled spring!
arrrrr, me old ship Metro has but five (maybe six) anchors to lift, and methinks that new propulsion system might just snap the chains. who knows, in the current covid mist, there might be another poirate crew lurking in yonder caves of the 52 week ave which might climb those chains and drop anchors in one mighty fight.
aarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, yon stories of auld tell ye "x" marks the spot. according to my glass eye, our rum stained chart puts us upon the golden cross and across the trend river to the point of no shorter may return. our fair maiden metro has been to davey jones locker and now time to put three spreadsheets to the wind.
Morning Mister Matlot and Smokey
Odey reductions all good. Roll on double/ triple SP with more events inbound. Chairman will most likely bring on new deals.
As Matlot pointed out, City knows pi have patience of a squirrel. Maybe goldfish at best.
Oh well, patience. And good luck to the doomtalkers. Metro moves happening and share price will reflect whehter it takes a week/ month/ year... don't matter.
and to think that the bipolar crackheads were mocking me for shorting the ftse and dax
the irony..
Cyber, that's brilliant, the final sentence summed up some posting on bb's i.e. never wrong, you must have misinterpreted what I said!!! Thank you JJ
Theosus - . Even Amers is now down to £7.50...!!!
I would happily take £2.50 and take 41p loss....but good old SNG/EUA/BO=hoo/NCYT
Yuri my view is that banks are stronger this time around, and some lessons have been learned. I was destroyed by holding RBS and pumping more in right up to the point that the sp was 10p. I will be gobsmacked if someone comes in for MTRO and rewards investors above the £2 level but I know how to get it wrong so 'will wait and see. Banks have been screwed by the current situation, not able to pay a div. whereas my MNG are paying interim div of 6%. IMO long term investors are exposed and need to learn to be active traders and take profits wherever they can, and accept small losses. JJ
jimjam, re: "...might see an adjustment in line with bank shares..."
Same here - reduced a bit.
It might be worth checking UK' financial index (or banks only) with timeline of 2008-2009 recession (Financial crisis)
Probably taking a note on difference on when each started recovering (GDP and Bank index) - index is leading (happens prior report on GDP' recovery)
Last time it didn't recover even to half of pre-crisis levels
falling initially by 70%+, then recovering and finding some sort of steady state to slightly below 50% ..
This crisis is much worse IMO with significantly deeper changes to a system (and capital depletion, structural disturbance), and we haven't even dropped that deep yet because of we all know who (thanks them for that)..
Last time range of crisis-hit zombie-companies managed to last on final breath into 2011/2012 before finally collapsing.
I like a "FTSE 350 Financial Services" index at same time-range much more than "FTSE 350 Banks" index though.
sorry, i am playing the idiot card, but how could the SP reach £10 under "new ownership"? surely new ownership implies that the company is off market ?? or do you mean share4share reverse takeover or something like that ??
matlot, I am not short on this or indeed anywhere ( 6'2"). I still hold MTRO but reduced a while back, but am not convinced this is going to rise in the near term. I can see MTRO chugging along with Dan making subtle but important changes, and showing his true worth when the FY results are displayed. Yes we might see an adjustment in line with bank shares, or MTRO could drop below 100p quite soon; when it will be worth a top up IMO. JJ
UKML possible new target for MTRO, DYOR. JJ
big red day??? just as likely.
Bring back LCR!!! at least he was not giving out false hope. JJ
big blue day?
