Thanks. By the way, for anybody interested the bid appears to have closed at 21.5 according to Hargreaves Lansdown. And price of copper seems to be taking a breather.
KB, no admin people in the UK. Just the CFO handling the accounts and CoSec with Bangkok. Admin outsourced to Bangkok.
Hello Illaquens. You say "all other support functions to Bangkok". Are you saying there are no admin people in the UK? Have they outsourced everything-admin, accounts, compliance?
CK a one of redundancy hit in 2020 plus associated legal costs. I cannot imagine legal costs will be anyway as high in 2020 as 2019. So yes would be the simple answer. The Bangkok Office will be much cheaper to run than London. Also travel and hotel costs will be down considerably in 2020.
So Do You Expect Admin To Come Down Considerably?
Correct TF1. There will be one off redundancy costs etc.. for 2020 but going forwards no registered office rents in London and the UK employees reduced to MP and Adrian Bock the CFO. I presume all other support functions to Bangkok. Get rid of the London listing and a whole lot more savings! Time will tell.
Cashy
Q is correct here; the BOD aren’t claiming 60,000 large a week in salaries ! That’s just not true. If MM is on say 3,000 a week, that leaves 57,000 and now we have no expensive London rent n rates etc.
CK, that will cover huge legal costs associated with SFR/MOD/KML/CBE/SAU etc... plus external geologists. It's not all on salaries. I am happy with the spend on legal fees and external consultants. I would be very worried if there was not a large spend there. Sprott would have done their due diligence prior to investment in any event.
Iq ! Do You Think Nearly £3 Million Admin For The Year Is A Tad Excessive For Poor Performance. Year In Year Out ....
Obviously It’s up to Large Shareholders To Make The Decision If They Are Happy With The Plod Or Require Change !
CK you will have your chance at the next AGM.
Time For Change ! The Bods Just Aren’t Doing It For Shareholders!
No it's ok I will put two pound in. Can't have to much publicity! Get your writing cap on.
Lynny ! Have I Been Sacked ?
I knew you were the man for the job Fiercey.
Well you have my vote to get the job. More to the point I will put a pound in the hat towards your expenses if you will find that acceptable!
Keeeefyy
The problem you are having is the magical word “Responsibility”. Government, councils, BBC etc all swerve that word because no one ever wants to say “I said that”.
The country is terrified by that other slogan started by Lardy Lord Falconer a la Tony Blair the most insidious snake to ever serve our country and his slogan is “Is it legal”.
So as no one wants to say anything and take responsibility for that, here at MTR in particular we have a wall of bricks.
I’ll repeat again, it’s no good anyone here telling me how to retail profitably and promote yourself because that’s what I’m an expert in.
And no matter what anyone says, MTR could say, just as an EXAMPLE, the following statement on their website.
“Another first class investment in what we believe to be an excellent opportunity of getting in early. That is now the 25th investment that the direct equity division has invested in giving MTR and its shareholders 60,000 new shares and more importantly 35,000 warrants @ £1 per share.
So far MTR, from their outstanding 3.6% holding in the Global Premier Miner SFR has invested $13,000,000 giving MTR a net $8,000,000 shares and warrants of approx 4,000,000 giving a potential windfall of approx $876,000,000.
By investing in MTR, you have early access to brand new miners who have the possibility of earning shareholders future dividends.
Our current NAV is $33,000,000 and our loan to value in SFR is $11,000,000 and no other debts”
FIGURES ARE A RANDOM STAB AS IM BUSY TODAY!!!
But it wouldn’t hurt to say something like that so people understand exactly why they should invest.
To suggest you cannot is total horse **** and anyone from MTR is welcome to comment or message me directly about some form of simple marketing.
No wonder there's no marketing-there's no-one to do it!
Get in there Fiercey and show 'em how it's done. You won't need a company car-you've got a posh one already.
