Good post Keith.
It's happy hour in MTR at the moment, 2 JV's for the price of one.
Double the potential for major returns.
Any find that feeds into T3 will improve the economics and any major find is company/life changing.
Cu > $2.70/lb again.
Taylot good to hear that the BoD told you exactly what you wanted to hear... and objectively so...
I guess you have a very good reason to keep losing money now...
The way I look at it now is that we've got "each way" bets on a number of favoured runners in 2 different races-certainly not an all or nothing bet "on the nose" of 1 rank outsider-although that's not to say there's no chance for the latter!
Agree Keithb1......and the elephant in the room is of course.....'District Scale' ....which is exactly why 'Sprott', 'Sandfire' and 'MTR' are in the audience.....lol
Of course "the chance of finding the big one is incredibly slim" but it doesn't have to be a " big one" does it? Another T3 or T3 add ons will do nicely, wherever they're found, either by Sandfire in our former JV territory or what we now have with KML. That's what we're betting on not necessarily a "big one".
Thanks Taylot for being so honest about the chances being Incredibly Slim !
100% agree AP the chance of finding the big one is incredibly slim and I wasn’t insinuating that it was a gaurantee, so apologies if it read that way.
But the reference to kamoa-kakula has been made by numerous parties. Cupric to the north also have some large deposits so clearly the system is mineralised. Sandfire will have numerous high priority targets thanks to then AEM and importantly they have the budget to properly explore.
IF anything is there, I wouldn’t bet against them finding it.
I have spoken to the board numerous times and I am very happy. As are Sprott and Rick Rule!!!
The chance of that is highly unlikely..
Thr fact the Sanford fought to have the NSR removed says it all. Wouldn’t surprise me if they’d tried to buy it... MTR cashed up so no thanks.
I won’t bother asking you any questions as you are incapable of answering anything.
Taylot ,what's it worth if they don't find any more T3s ?
For sure makes no sense. Some dodgy trading and/or numpty spread betting going on.. whatever it is it won’t last forever.
The more I research and speak to people in regards the NSR the more excited I am for MTR and where this will take the company. Forgetting KML, forgetting that MTR will still have direct exposure through bots via the SFR holding (and the value of the 3.5%), forgetting exposure of the other SFR projects and the division. The NSR alone “could” be worth a crazy amount per year (per year not sale). The potential T3 NSR could have given - had it not been capped - has already been shown. What if SFR find a few T3s?? And with the amount of targets you have to think that is likely...???
BUT what if a major deposit is found..?? In the ilk of Ivanhoes kamol-kakula, which is also a sediment hosted deposit (as is T3) wow....
Still makes no sense. Still think they settled th3 cash/shares element too cheaply for mod, but nevertheless, the value of that exceeds the current mkt cap, valuing the rest of mtr’s Investment and cash in bank at zero,
And of course the uncapped 2%NSR over the rest of the bots land mass which has the potential to dwarf the cash/shares element, plus annual divvies from sandfire as well...
Ridiculously undervalued...
