Gold price for the first 2 months of Q1 is averaging over $2030 which is $50 dollars higher than the last quarter, $45 dollars higher than our record best quarter, $50 equates to $1 million additional income this quarter if all other parameters were to remain the same, $4 million in a year, just $50 dollars, interesting.
I have a feeling institutional buying in the back ground is currently in play, so much to come for March and April, MTL is THE place to be for the gold mining stock investor, and gold stocks are THE place to be in gold investment, all whilst gold is at the early stages of a bull run cycle, happy times.
MTL meets quite a few long hold screens on another site.
Greenblat Magic, William O'Neil Growth, PiotnoskiF-ScoreP/E, Tiny Titan momenstum screen, Neglected Firms screen, Free Cash Cows, and the Screen of Screens. Most companies rarely meet one of them.
3.5p now being paid, very good week so far, here's hoping for a strong Friday.
All the best
She knows I'm only kidding, she's as old as the pyramids so I'd probably have to pay someone to take her anyway.
If things turn out well here, she'll get a Salmon for Christmas.
All the best
A bit drastic selling the cat.
Good luck indeed, I had to pay 3.49p for a smidge under £400 worth. Whoever sold out over the past couple of weeks dropping us down to 2.5p has cost me a few shares. They should've waited until payday! Inconsiderate creatures haha.
Could pass 3.5p on the ask today if more people start buying, check behind your sofas everyone, there must be something you can sell to grab some more here. My Cat is on borrowed time, might get a couple of hundred at least.
Have a good weekend.
Lol I am in similar position was going to add some more next week but will wait.Someone is accumulating!
New ATH in the past 5 years I believe. 3.5p paid. Only way is up from here really. Once the debt free announcement is made, we should print an even higher SP.
That "unknown" of £20,000 this morning was obviously a buy. It has been a long wait for many on this board. DB's interview with his explanation of MTL's plans of a couple of weeks ago was a turning point. GLA.

No mate, it's because I got paid today and topped up, the market makers knew I was topping up from a portion of my average wage so they run the ask up in anticipation ;)
Lots more interest here now, the PR campaign has brought more eyes (and I would like to think some new investment funds) to the party. The announcement of debt freedom and the subsequent earnings from each quarter thereafter, 'should' allow a very healthy rerate north.
Could/should be a £200 million plus company already based on earnings, there are explorers who produce nothing valued at many times what MTL is so this has been flying way under the radar for far too long.
The market will wake up soon enough, glad to hold a small slice here because I'm confident it could increase by 5 x or more within a year. Time will tell.
All the best
Is on the move.May be market is rerating it every quarter should add 10/15/20 millions to market capital and if they drilling compaign is successful then that asset can be brought to production really quickly and can increase cashflow.Fingers crossed and good luck to everyone.
Thanks for the info @nimrod22
KMR is the only one that seems business viable from that list. Gives me even more hope for MTL's current value.
The PE of JAY (Bluejay Mining) is a strange one as they are a minnow with a current £5 million market capitalisation and receive no income as they sell nothing but exploration dreams and plenty of 'Jam'.
The only income they receive is from their frequent placings to 'prove up' great assets that turn out not to make money and never seem to amount to actual mining and selling. I know nothing of the other four companies sitting above us in the list but JAY is definitely incomparable to MTL.
If you ask me where do I put £1k if I found it in the street, after grabbing a nice bottle of red and a cognac, the rest would be going into MTL.
Payday in two days, another (unfortunately) small top up en-route.
All the best
AFRK 1.77, BSE 1.6, BZT 1.56, JAY 1.43, KMR 1.7.
So who are the 5 above? Curious now considering MTL already has such a low PE
Stockp..... indicates that MTL PE Ratio (f) is ranked 6th out of 45 companies in the Metals & Mining market.
I think you might be getting mixed up with a muppet on the ADVFN board. Easymoney or something like that.
Probably back posting on the Flat Earth sites now.
It varies a lot, but I would say for the good profitable companies it is in the range 10 to 15 with some higher than that.
What's the average PE in the sector any ideas?
106% rise in share price over one year is hopefully and indicator of what's to come, with a forward looking P/E of only 2.7 its todays bargain.
Still here since 2018! Brought in at 0.52p and topped up since then. Had quite a few hairy moments but kept the faith and patience! Currently hold 2.8m and aim to add asap. Does anyone else remember that chap who used to post almost daily about a year ago? All he used to rant about was how the Gold would run out before the debt was paid off. I wonder what happened to him LOL.
Great time to be in this stock right now can't see anything better all being well in this year big money is made being patient not buying and selling imho
Mottley fool wrote an article this week it's a 3 min read. https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/could-2p-uk-penny-stock-123331838.html
Yes lee, still holding my AAZ shares.
I certainly think patience will be rewarded here, particularly after we achieve debt-free status. It's been a stunning operational & financial turnaround under Darren Bowden & he clearly has the talent and ambition and majority equity-holder backing to grow the business from hereon.
Hi Mattjos, I remember you from the days I was invested in AAZ, more or less the same point MTL are in today, about to be debt free, I know you did very well with AAZ, are you still invested there today? I foolishly let go before the massive rise to 173p and learned a huge lesson to be patient when the going is good, I grabbed a profit (120%) then watched it sail away missing out on (600%) and dividends on top.
Good to your incite, I’m positive we about to repeat the early AAZ days with MTL, but I’m even more positive as we are in a better world location with a very ambitious CEO.
