No worries but I really think this bounce is not about the leak of a deal or some attempt to get some value for Iclaprim.Like many I lost heavily on the St Valentine’s Day massacre but am long over it and sold out a while ago.
I only ever intended to come back in on actual news as I would be able to judge that but was very aware of a few shrewd folk who had taken a position here mainly due it being such a low market cap it offered a good chance for a pharma to RTO.Plus there was always the chance of a Iclaprim link with Covid 19 therapy being a very good AB in a lung and respiratory setting ( of course an Un Approved AB).
My initial thought was not to come in today for what would have been a pure trade but I did succumb in the end but only for a small punt and did not enjoy anything like the rise that many on here got today.
No matter and GLA.
Happy to try and answer any questions in the history here but I really don’t think the rise today is anything to do with Iclaprim or a deal but who knows.
If a deal is announced then this will be worth a lot lot more but I do not expect one.
Happy Easter
Ivy, your thoughtful posts last year (before the "final" FDA rejection) were always most appreciated. The "Heroes" from today (yeah, they saw this one coming), since they are "new" Heroes indeed, will most likely lose any profits made today in their next investment, due to their newfound expertise. Even a blind pig finds an apple every now and then. In the end, maybe some us who have been holding, even before the infamous "February Massacre", will be able to claw back enough so as to leave this space with only one, instead of two black eyes.
I jumped in for a few million during the initial rise at c1.25p, and contrary to those devilbhoy et al, that are the majority can make their own decisions on investment of their hard earned cash, win or lose, and the majority will be excited over this long weekend at the potential game changing news ahead....if it's a deal then we could have a suspension until the official listing along with a fund raise to provide additional funding for the target company, but with a current market cap of c£1m, then the potential UPside could be considerable , depending on the details of the RTO, and if the business is Covid related, then this will go through the roof , and if there is no deal, the C'est la Vie...Gla holders and fingers crossed that's there some substance to todays stellar rise....On and UP!!! :-)
Good for you masonmaster. At least you acknowledge it was a gamble.
I have to laugh when I read comments like “Well done to those that made a decent profit/ have clawed some of their losses back”. The only people who will have clawed back some of their losses will be the ones crazy enough to have invested sub 0.5p.
For the people who only hold the shares because they had lost so much after the spectacular collapse from anything above 15p then I very much doubt they give a @@@@ about the rise are they are still about 98.5% down.
Thanks Ivey
Private i am not a Dork it is my plan to reasearch throughout the Easter weekend. Sure it will bring back some memories
Was in this after it dropped from 40p to 5p and double bagged to just shy of 15p the next day. I remember the hype of the FDA APPROVAL at the time but waited for the outcome and piled in when it was refused.
Very patient in your response ivy. I have had it with these dorks who are late arrives and too lazy to research . ! Good luck
Well done to all today.
It is not listed on Nasdaq anymore as was below minimum mkt cap requirement so if you look at Nasdaq price quote it will show a big drop but that is from months ago.
Does anyone know if this share price is in sink with the us listing? Or does anyone have the us ticker? Or are they not related is regards to share price.
Thanks
You called it but many others have too. It’s not informed and more to the point it is based on ridiculous logic. There may well be a leak and there is a deal that accounts for the rise. But it is not because it is a cash shell or has an aim listing or has tax losses. That is what I was objecting to old chap. No apology from me to the rampers and charlatans who peddle ignorance.
I am in this share big time and nursing huge losses and obviously want it to do well from here but I do not like to see idiots like you try and mislead people
P a Glad you are still around godfather. !
Devilbhoy, my gamble here today was certainly rewarded, I'm out now though.
If this isn’t a pump a dump then there needs to be an insider trading investigation. Nobody in their right mind would invest in this dog of a share. Some people may have gambled on a pump and dump at some point and if you did then your bravery has been rewarded but don’t try and claim you knew all along this would have risen like it has today, as their has been no material change in this company’s circumstances to justify any rise never mind 336.36%.
I'm 8.4p lol. I believed in this one!
Ryan’s private’s please eat some humble pie! I called this at the rock bottom and you shot down
Are you a tax expert? Do you understand that losses only go with companies Where are the losses here ? In the company we are winding down. They will be lost. And they need to be in the right jurisdiction. Then there are anti avoidance rules and have been for decades. It is rare where losses acquired can be used Forget it. What will be the game changer is if they get a deal. The rest is nonsense
Correct - depending on the rate at which any potential suitor pays mainstream CT.
However, the main point is that even at 20%, the value is still considerably north of current mcap...
Cheers
So any company that is making £600m could save £120m from tax losses
Which company do you know that will give up £120m
Even if those losses were available that are only worth the tax rate being saved eg 20 per cent. You are peddling nonsense
I bought in at 0.05 so bagged already ,but always thought it was way undervalued at a few hundred grand ,if you could buy it for 20 million to save £120 million that's more than a 40 bagger from my by in price , can see a 500 percent day plus soon for starters
