Yes but together with your lose at ZEN you have lost over £500K in less than a year, if that was me I would be very very very p i s s e d off.
Still only a paper loss. What’s the panic all about ?
Hasiba, just going back to out debates last year when this was over 2p mark....it’s just unreal and unbelievable when you think back! Can you believe this was 40p just 1 year ago on merit?
Where’s hot trader when you need him ! Lol
Feel for those of you left in here , I sold ages ago as I couldn’t stand the pain Amy longer .
he isnt departing
If motif is going bust soon then can someone explain why 28 millions shares were bought today!?
What is going one behind the scenes?
Buyers are betting on making money and sees the sp is too low to ignore or they just naive and gamblers...
Maybe they see the departure of the idiot and his cronies is a positive and some one will buy motif but without the failing bunch..
No idea what to make of today trading? Any thought...
I agree the wording is crap but for disposal they needed to appoint an Independent Director first...so they were never going to achieve a sale without one. It looks like a leaving shot from CEO to cover his own back before his next venture!
‘ Following the General Meeting, Motif Bio will accelerate the wind down or disposal of Motif Inc. This will involve the sale, wind-down or divestment of all or substantially all of the Company's existing business, assets and investments. This represents a fundamental change of business and upon an independent director and officer being appointed for the completion of the wind-down or disposal of Motif Inc., the Company will be classified as an AIM Rule 15 cash shell. A further announcement confirming the appointment of an independent director and officer to implement the completion of the wind-down or disposal or Motif Inc. will be made in due course.’
Twice failed dead cat bouncing for sure nevertheless people still punting total recall gla
Latino it is the bit where they say DESPITE a a comprehensive marketing effort there is no transaction pending. Sounds very negative. It is relatively early days though. They should have explained that They then added no guarantee blah blah to cover themselves. All gave the impression it was a hopeless case.
Hi aim..... thanks for confirming my take on graham.
We differ on valuation obviously!
But to clarify one point I think the i p is pledged as security but I think that means the I P can be sold to pay off the loan if necessary but any excess over the loan liability is due to motif bio inc It isn’t given away completely ?
Point is there was nothing we did not know about and there are things in today’s RNS that they are moving forward with the sale ie Exec appointments and Hercules immediate execution...so why such a hugh drop based on that RNS?
PrivateRyan - spot on on some points. It's not oversold though. You can't oversell a company with nothing but a failed drug and some IP basically given to another firm. Absolutely worthless. GL is resigning as Director of Motif Inc though and stays Director of MTFB.
Correction on Hercules
- The terms of the Hercules Agreement are effective immediately, except for provisions of a release that relate to the pledge of Motif Bio's interest in Motif Inc. which will become effective no later than 10 May 2020, being approximately 100 days after Hercules's security interest in all of the intellectual property of Motif Inc. is perfected, provided that no voluntary or involuntary bankruptcy filing has occurred with respect to Motif Bio or Motif Inc.
I agree oversold today . But the wording of the rns was almost designed to produce that impact. Poor.
As I posted earlier I think g l has resigned from the us sub as director but he is also ceo of the main company ? I think rumours of his demise are exaggerated ?
In my view IF any company wants to take this on they will be prepared to pay somewhere in the millions giving a 2 or 3 p value for the shares. The gamble is IF
I agree that there is no new news as they are still marketing the asset And if anything Hercules position seems improved. I am still struggling to understand if Hercules are still due repayment of their loan to m b inc ? If they have waived that then that would add more value say 1p. The docs are poor at explaining this.
Also another positive is that Hercules are still here and are showing confidence with their immediate execution! Not saying all rosy but a lot of positive shoots in today’s RNS for holders.
John Palmer of Tamarack Associates is being appointed as sole Executive Officer of Motif Inc. and Bernadette Barron of Barron Business Consultants is being appointed as the sole, independent non-executive officer of Motif Inc. Concurrent with these appointments, Graham Lumsden, Jonathan Gold, and David Huang have resigned as officers of Motif Inc. and Graham Lumsden has resigned as director of Motif Inc.
Yes it will be sold for a song not very long best rip
Still don’t quite understand the hugh drop today? Previous RNS stated all this, but they only got new execs in now, then CEO leaving also. I personally see this as good news as finally they’ve appointed these execs to execute the sell of Iclaprim...am
I missing something?
I’m in for a cheap punt .
