Why don't you all join the Motif Action Group that is currently having meetings with the board.
Appreciate Magpie I did mention quite some time ago about a Norwich Pharmacal Order which has been updated to include misinformation from social platforms.
I got ridiculed. It was as if there was a determined response on here and ADVFN to scupper any deal. If you spoke against it you were trashed.
Well we can see what has occurred so far. The method worked and individuals investors were pretty much told to forget about the potential deal and blow a raspberry to the board.
Well that happened. Still scratching my head on that one!
Better to have a smaller slice of cake than no cake imho.
I'm wondering if those who were prevalent in dismissing the RTO go quiet and realise via a NPO they could be held accountable due to comments that were not substantiated by actual reason to substantiate their posts.
Tick tock.
Let's see how busy a poster on ADVFN gets .....or doesn't !! ! !!
Steady..... the company still exists..... we still own shares....
is something afoot...? ... who knows !!
we'll just have to wait and see....
Que Sera Sera
Hedgehog.
So just putting it out there do you think if there was deemed to be a spread of 'misinformation' and that the vote was possibly interfered with, that through some legal loophole a second vote could be invoked?
I haven't joined the other group as something in my gut tells me they want to count people's holdings and get enough for something.
The reason for this initial thread is that I was just pointing out shares were still being purchased a day before suspension so a market maker ( or a few) have these shares and decided it was a good idea to buy them. They were actively buying them with no extortionate spread.
Am I barking or is there still something afoot?
I
Sharedealer,
Interestingly, Scott has today just made his first post since the AGM vote:

I agree with most of what you say, except that I don't think Scott actually wanted the RTO to fail, though paradoxically he may have contributed to that outcome.
He appeared to think that it was safe to make a 'protest vote' against it, which he did, 'safe' in the knowledge that it would go through anyway. But he clearly called it badly wrong.
And his postings probably did have an influence on voters. He may well have influenced other shareholders to make a misplaced 'protest vote' against the RTO.
For example, by suggesting that the company was wasting a large tax loss asset, whereas in reality this was effectively worth very little.
I suspect that if you take out these 'protest votes' against the RTO, and votes from people who didn't realise they were voting for delisting and administration, then the RTO would have been approved.
Which is quite sad, because it means that the vote didn't really reflect what people actually wanted.
It's not Sharedealer2019 who is bitter and twisted - think you should look more to the previous Moronic posters on this BB and their obvious intention to see this company go Bust - After all what sane person with no agenda would vote down the only deal we will possibly ever have.
Fact is you cannot prove your shareholding !
MG 1862 not bitter and twisted just saying it how it is and how short sighted many of the investors were on here! Interesting that Scott who was on here and ADV for over a year ranting saying people should screw the board, left ADV the day it happened and didn't comment further! This is interesting as I am positive he was a disgruntled employee and not investor who just wanted the company to go under at any cost and due to his/her pages and pages of rants I am also sure he/she had alot of influence on some of the investors and the decision they made.
Thus me calling the rtards as a small amount of research would have shown what a good prospect even at the diluted levels 'newco' would have been.
This is why I would not want to join the uprising and motif taskforce that has been set up as I have no faith in the people who are participating!
Sh..19 .... True, but look on the bright side....
we now have a new stock tip to keep an eye on...
if BVX does come back to the market at a future time and looks to have decent prospects I can easily free up more than my Motif/RTO shares would have been worth, to take a punt on the new Tesla of the biotech world.
Don't get too bitter and twisted....
.........remember........ https://youtu.be/SJUhlRoBL8M ....
maybe the third party didnt think there were a bunch of rtard investors who would vote down the only deal in town with a company that had an excellent future....just out of spite.... and then complain when the company was delisted and there was no other deal on the table.....maybe thats why....
Magpie appreciate that. So why would the third party take them off HL knowing MTFB were up sh**s creek?
Hi Alan. I have sent you an email.
Thx
Oh Danny Boy.... I would have thought that HL acting as broker/middleman were just taking your shares at 'bid' and passing them straight on to a third-party at 'offer'....
don't think that HL collect shares for their 'bottom drawer'
GLA
Juyamah. Yes I appreciate that. But my point is they would have been aware there was a big risk in buying them and so given a crazy spread to put me off derisking.
But they didn't so did they effectively buy my very risky shares and are now sat on them with no means to dispose of them?
It's hardly a business plan I would have thought HL would be at where they are now by buying rubbish at tight spreads that they lose on and I gain!?
Because that's their job..you must have asked for a quote to sell and accepted..
There was no plan b, that was made perfectly clear prior to the vote..
Did my broker (hl) buy half of my holding from me a day prior to suspension? Did they know something I didn't? Serious question.
Join shareholders group and find out. You have to prove you have shares though.
After rejecting first offer??
