Gigi gigi, so tell me something: if you lose 2 EGM on a row, does that make you a winner?
antofelli is Paul Brent , o holding on to his wages ,just another loser ..Decent ,and proper business man ,don't hang out where they are not wanted ..Only losers do that ,they need a living ..
I think the pig is called Leinad Energy.
Darn another post removed missed it, wonder who's it was.
Zorbass leaving mrs, leaving uru? , leaving captor?
Is he quietly covering his tracks and sailing into the sunset with his ill gotten gains and leaving his cohorts to face the music!
Anto probably about 52% to 48% of shares voted but in reality about 1% for the bod and 99% of actual shareholders against.
Only 6 people control nearly 30% of shares.
Only 2% swing needed to change things, can't see talbott and groves holding on to shares for too long if price goes up, that's if they actually have the shares.
Can sell end Sept so my bet is price coukd rise and they might sell and zorbas might sell the ones he got for 2.48p, nice to see director buy when price was at its lowest! so he can make more money.
40% is a minority Leon but have you considered that many (most) well run Companies can count on the vast majority of shareholder support. In the world of Zorbas and cronies they’re aim is to get sufficient shares to stuff the 40% minority for personal gain (overvalued acquisitions / introductory fees / websites development fees) justified by lie after lie after lie - you give Wales a bad name
Supposed to say Ricky not Kafka
Kafka 40% isn't a minority in your language?
Jono I'm with the 60%. Is it ok?
Let’s face it without the 26 million shares stolen from us for the bogus Alerion deal the board would have been toast. And before you say about an independent valuation - that was also a scam. All that the valuer did was ask Zorbas et al how much Aleriion would make so they pumped up a fairy tale figure which the valuer multiplied to arrive at a ridiculous valuation. How can Zorbas and cronies believe that they are doing a good job when nearly 40% of shareholders are dissatisfied???
Antofelli come clean who are you?, what's your agenda here?
"ambush the board" are you serious after the what the bod has done to pi's which I suspect that your not.
You seem to accept and vehemently defend the bod even though e very other pi not connected to zorbas or hogan
can see them for what they really are, totally selfish and self serving.
If you are a pi and cannot see what they have a have done here, you do realise that if they hadn't pushed thru the alerion deal they would not have had the shares to win the egm, then one day you will realise why genuine shareholders here feel aggrieved about as it will happen again maybe not here but on others shares that you might hold.
You have your own opinions and whether I think they are wrong or right you have the right to right to post them here,
and if you are just a pi who thinks that what has happened is ok then that's up to you.
Good luck at uru but be careful, Zorbas doesn't care about pi's no matter how much they will it.
The board won't engage with you and rightly so, because you've already tried to ambush it twice. Sadly for you you failed in both occasions.
Also, do you understand that, after losing the first Egm, after losing the second Egm, that isn't a threat!
Bring it on the third EGM, you will get defeated AGAIN.
Antofelli.... The second defeat is accepted... It is there in black and white. However, when you say the liosers don't have a clue how many votes they have that is simply not true.... It is also there in black and white.....
The side for change are gaining votes, JZ and Co are losing votes. The gap is down to only 6 million, with the half million of so that were bought yesterday narrowing the gap already
If the board do not engage then there will be a third EGM, and with the change in sentiment will come a change in result.....
So who’s now the childish one with the personal remarks.
Clearly one of the Zorbas loving cronies.
There is no board policy other than filling their boots.
Zorbas is a borderline crook and is finished in London because only idiots like you are prepared to either turn a blind eye or are in his pocket. Hogan is a chancer who is probably closer to criminality looking at his history and again absolutely no one is going to follow him in London which is why he has had a sudden change of policy on social media and setting up a new business. I pity any Swansea followers who entrust him with there money.
Then you’ve got fat Tim, he is a waste of oxygen, although looking at the absolute state of him, not for much longer. Brenton? big strong Aussie with absolutely no balls and a lack of business acumen that leaves him unable to spot that he is getting turned over all over the place but is still happy to take a monthly wage because he knows he’s landed on his feet and isn’t going to get such an easy ride anywhere else. I understand Hackett might actually have the wherewithal to stand up to Zorbas but we shall see..
It basically depends on whether the midget actually walks at the end of this month. If he doesn’t there will be another EGM and that gap is manageable.
Still more reliable than the ones who failed two EGM in row.
The ones who are thinking about a third EGM, because are clueless of how many votes are on their side.
Time to accept the second defeat.
Unfortunately when you lost TWICE and you still don't agree with the board policy, then you have one only last option:
Sell and move on fellas.
If that’s all they see is that they’ve won and can therefore ignore reasons behind the last 2 EGM requisitions then , sure, they’ll carry on failing the business, failing shareholders other than the few large holders ie. themselves and their cronies and this will continue to be seen as an uninvestable dog.
Past history suggests no desire to run this as anything but a scam for the few, however much the BoD try to pretend otherwise.
Just thought both sides might want to ry and move forward but not if it’s seen in the context of winners and losers.
Win if there is another EGM, there will be another defeat simple as.
You must acknowledge that the board has won again. Why would they deal with the losing side?
Personally, I’d rather that there not be another EGM attempt .
It would be better if the 2 sides try and come together and thrash things out. Maybe have representation via the 2 proposed non-execs.
This would depend very much on whether the BoD have only their own interests and also whether rebels would be prepared to work with them.
Also depends a lot on whether Zorbas steps aside as proposed and whether he and the likes of Hogan distance themselves.
I don’t see how this can ever move forward whilst there are constant battles. That’s pretty much been the case for the last few years.
Win4call.... Agree with everything you just posted.
What I would say is the gap is now only 6 million votes, and there is a very positive vibe that that can be bridged at any future EGM.
Some good questions. The board has been busy defending itself by the ambushes of the minority of the shareholders( in votes term).
I personally think that the board is more reliable than the few that want ambush. This is why I'm very pleased with today EGM results. I also know that this is not a very popular idea, but likely we are in democracy.
Unfortunately if somebody shouts at me, I'll shout back.
Interesting reply given the shouty comments you’ve had removed today.
Regarding the EGM , not a surprise to me and nowhere will you find posts from me suggesting that he BoD would be defeated.
We have 2 large factions, one bigger than the other that are vehemently opposed to each other. What is clear though it that it is the boards actions for the demise of the SP. Let’s not forget, it was the ludicrous Alerion deal that saw this drop , not any of the EGM requests- they were a response to the resulting fallout from the deal and all the subsequent confessions / clarifications around the selling parties and all the related linkages.
The BoD have facilitated failure at many levels:
The placing last year which went to Hogan but was covered up.
The failure to refinance.
The failure to appoint a non-exec and meet corporate governance requirements until it was brought to light earlier this year even though there had been a board commitment last year to address this.
The issue of Hogan and his dodgy TR1 reporting.
The Macquarie TR1 , 18 months late.
There are those, like yourself, who blame the rebellious shareholders for all the issues with the SP and sentiment. I think many , including commentators on social media point the finger at the board.
Questions, if you are so supportive of the board. Will Zorbas step down as previously announced ? Will the refinance agreement ever get announced and more importantly, will it be good for the business and SP. Will the next new non- execs be truly independent ? How will the company demonstrate that it is truly working for shareholders - other than a few major ones ?
It's a bit childish to continue making personal remarks.
Why don't you comment the results of the EGM.
Great victory once again for the board. Unfortunately people like yourself seem to produce lots of messages, but not enough votes to pass the resolutions.
A bit of Anto gloating.
Nobody likes him but he don’t care.
I must have missed a few disagreements here as about 10 posts missing.
16 showing but 26 reported hmm, what did I miss!
