value upwards of $200m ..for 16p,...hmmm!
I think 16p is feasible.
oh! and 16-20p .... er, would be good,...but, don't think so?
I take it you mean $19m not £19m ?
The advice i am getting, (not from SJL, although very similar) is that we need to show we can keep producing good profits and an increasing revenue stream on what needs to be £ 19/20M shown in 3 weeks time, show this performance can be taken as a given for at least 2 years and 'bob's yer firkin', ................................sale at 16p -20p Huckster
I think you're right, scale to get maximum valuation if the do sell.
YHAL I think MMX simply need to charge ahead to get the biggest possible market share and number of registrations and the rest will take care of itself, flapping around like a wounded bird will only yield sympathy low ball offers. Don't see 10p by the end of March, be lovely though, my head would at last be above water! .....Huckster
It might make a sale less likely. Tooling up to become an alpha predator, not prey.
Thanks SJL. I hope that the upcoming results includes an update on people movements.
What i think we now have is Toby at the helm with probably three key business streams likely all reporting directly into him. Firstly Michael S continuing to head up all things finance with Deep Shah in support. Secondly sales head by Vaughn L with Christa Taylor, Yuling Huang, Christa Taylor and Solomon Amoaka as function heads in support. Thirdly, Ben A picking up the rest which would be largely operational/governance - Sheri F in legal and Ronan P in tech. This executive team are supported by c.15 employees in admin, finance, sales, engineering. So about 25 employees in total including the two directors. In other words - a substantial team.....and one which should be capable of delivering strong growth in revenue and more importantly profit. SB
Silver ,
Yes : cfo . Responsible for counting the money
Cro. Responsible for finding the money ( another Name for sales director - Vaughn is sales and only sales all day long
SJL - any idea what the difference is between a chief financial officer and a chief revenue officer? And no that’s not the start of a Friday joke.....!! SB
silver ,
Don’t get me wrong , I am 100 % confident these hires have been made by Toby and mIchael and in no way enforced on them : that just isn’t how MmX ticks . The hires do , as I said , give me for one extra comfort.
Is clear something didn’t gel with TonY F and Len B from ICM at mmX and they were let go but good to see other hires promotions in hand to replace them .
Evening SJL. Michael was COO and CFO - and he is a director - hence my assumption. I’m not questioning anyone’s capabilities - delighted to hear they are good guys - just surprised at the level of senior staff we seem to have and the lack of communication on such appointments. Also - if I was a current director and was not responsible for these appointments - I would wonder why they were made - given their similarity to existing positions.... It does need a bit of clarity. SB
I’m a bit rusty on Corp governance but I think an officer is different from a director and prob doesn’t need disclosing . Again , guessing only but wouldn’t surprise me if the NEDS pushed for these senior appointments . I always saw Micheal as more CFO than COO , so a very welcome addition . Ben is very capable . In fairness I do believe that mmx May have been close to landing Vaughn some 18 months ago but Frank persuaded him to stay .
From whatever vantage point I think these are good adds.
For a while I think it was difficult form mmx to get top industry talent , how things have changed in 3 years .
If these are director level appointments (and a COO surely is) corporate governance would surely require formal market notification - we appointed a non exec (disher) to deal with this type of stuff. What’s really going on here? SB
exactly my point too B18.that's why I said , was it someone else who pushed it through cos TH/MS surely wouldn't have done. Also, why keep it quiet, these are very senior appts that should have been announced with a RNS imo?
hmmm as I recall before the recent large PE acquisitions there was a game of musical chairs, with folk leaving icann and companies about to acquired so everybody had a seat when the music stopped. Why would Toby and Michael employ someone who could do their own jobs, Is this simply laying the ground before an event of which we have have no knowledge, I know SJL says he don't know nuffink, and he can say little else but I just wonder.
Having SJL on the BB is like having a horse shoe in our pillow case, if you want to have a pillow fight with Toby a horse shoe is always going to give you an edge, and Toby a headache, hope that is not too obscure for our esteemed fellow contributors!
