At this lowly mcap I am surprised that no one is sniffing around for takeover. E.g. cotec.
Agree.
No worries - I'll be here well into 2024 anyway.
No I wouldn't get your hopes up on an RNS. I know where some of the buying volume is coming from (perhaps 30% of todays volume so far) and it's not driven by an impending RNS, it's just position building. I suspect there are a few who have waited for higher volume / signs of seller exhaustion to build a position
That being said, obviously it's a rich newsflow period in the next couple of months
It's an awful lorra vol for us - RNS en route?
Looking a bit healthier
Brakes are well and truly off now.
A good Santa rally in the stock market this year would help the sp nicely too, ho ho ho 🎅
:D
9.70/10.30
atm.
You'd be bonkers not to be buying..a complete REE EU CRMA solution in one small cap company
Nice vol - I did pin this to my twitter profile the other day - might have helped :)
Market maker.
Interesting. Who is PEEL and how do you know this?
PEEL have been feeding shares into the market for the last few weeks, suppressing any rise.
They have now flipped and are on the BID, should allow the SP to move up now.
GLA
We should also have news on the commissioning of the new Hypromag Recycling Plant in Tyseley Energy Park in 4 or 5 weeks (I'm guessing news before Christmas). Shaping up for a very merry Christmas indeed
Discussing a seller will soon be history. Get that license over the line and we’ll be discussing which country or continent will be helping Mkango and Malawi finance the build. Have no doubt, there will be no shortage of offers.
Chunky trades to close the day
Globe got theirs in March under the same regime as existed in Jan. Due respect to Malawi, but the politicians' promises are better seen as good intentions imo. Monica's very different, in a good way, so I have high hopes this'll complete soon.
Let's not forget too that the guy at the top at the time visited the site and was surprised that mka were serious. He was meant to know. I have more faith in the new lady. She seems atreets ahead. Also the AG due dilliegence took longer as mentioned due to ministry of mining changes.
Feels closer than a year ago based on recent interviews.
I think things got derailed for a while because they decided to change the law about how these things are decided and who has the power to sign them off.
Fingers crossed, just be aware we've been here several times before, including with specific dates from the minister of mining.

Also this one from the Ministry of Mining...
"I am sure before the end of this year, this MDA is going to be signed,” Chang’anamuno said."
https://www.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02t3W3yMMkPT2zoGT6HWP7MVSUmXreWUuEXXnxqfcAzRu2d8v17CW6DrBRDjwXqjGsl&id=100080015388530&paipv=0&eav=Afbp-f8Bxn78-48CMruj1SsfxfAwljJoKDKvjHUUAVm8kl44syZ6B-klf8XsCUxOg1M&_rdr
"On why the MDA signing for Mkango has taken so long, Chang’anamuno explained that there were some issues that needed to be cleared, as the government wanted to make sure that they did not make any mistakes"
I note "Needed" indicating past tense.
And then, "There are a few things that are remaining but before the end of this year, the MDA will be signed"
"Will be signed" - previously it was all "hope to" and "aiming for"
Yeah, it's odd to sell now when news is so close I agree. Can only assume they must be desperate for the money. At least they can't keep going forever. I suppose another explanation is it someone shorting. That sounds like madness to me though.
