Belgrano , Bigwell as usual this BOD have made mugs of you it didn’t take 23 days this time to drop back to 1.10p . That’s Aim shares for you just like being in a betting office you best try it as it is the same as Minoan
Belgrano I’ve been involved in investing for over 30 years and done really well as for skin in the game you don’t need any for 1p shares so you stick to your portfolio of Aim stocks as the FTSE 100 would scare you ,keep your eye on the SP give it another 30 days ,1.35p As for a valuation who are you kidding only yourself it’s worth nothing at present Enjoy your investing !
Please come back in a year Arsenal, I prefer advice from those with skin in the game and not those with grudges to bear. Its a shame that with nearly every stock you can find those who lost money and left, hanging around for years in some cases trying to decry the stock and put others off. Hell of a waste of life. Believe the most sensible can see that the real estate is actually worth a packet, not just 8 million. The jet set would pay that much alone for one exclusive waterfront plot. Just need to increase any freehold lease to a more reasonable amount to make things worthwhile and the company is away to the races.
Belgrano do yourself a favour and look at the facts this has been going on for decades the only Village Idiot here mate is you who like others on here keep kidding there self that there is an end game ,only for the BOD I’m afraid Get Real Minoan has no Cash or Investor for the barren land project ,what a joker ! Have a look in a month and see where SP will be ?
I'm always suspicious of those that post repeatedly while having no "skin in the game". I ask myself why ..I doubt its "good human nature just trying to help other investors from making an investment error Just posting again the paragraph I posted early on. Seems the last comment was spot on I'm afraid.
So I look at things on a risk/reward basis, don't think anyone disputes the reward, except one person who thought that 40 miles of undeveloped unspoilt Crete, including secluded bays and headlands was "worthless". But every village has one.
I wondered where you had been Bigwell the only thing you got right was about having no shares ,still believing in the BOD and that barren piece of undeveloped land regarding any development on it something you know that without investment it will stay a beauty spot .I have to laugh when you talk about the Chairman as this is the guy who has earned thousands in salary telling people like you what is going to happen ,well the fact is at present the answer is Nothing. so you keep believing and who knows eh !
The nature of the Company’s Project in Crete, covering over 25sq km with its 28km of coastline and unending sea views, is such that it is able to accommodate the spatial demands that appear to be emerging within the tourism industry as it adapts to a post Covid world.
Taken together with the fact that the Project’s flexibility, as highlighted in the outline planning consent and overall plan, has always been to create space for its visitors, using under 0.05% of the land for building, we believe the post Covid demands add to the attractiveness of the development as a whole.
You've Summed up the current state of affairs very well Belgrano (unlike the holder of nil shares, "hidden agenda Arsenal").
It is again worth reminding investors of the scope and scale of the Project:
* It has an un-appealable Presidential Decree granting outline planning consent
* It has been granted “strategic investment” status by the Greek government
* It is the largest "consented" private estate in the Eastern Mediterranean of a size and with characteristics such that the Project's operation would not suffer unduly from any social distancing or other restrictive measures
* It is in a UNESCO designated geopark - an area of outstanding natural beauty and spectacular unending sea views
"Barren land" indeed!!
Suggest you take a look at the excellent web-site, recently up dated, which gives more detail, photographs of all the proposed sites and explains fully the opportunity that the project offers.
I admire your optimism but the facts are there decades later there is still a piece of barren undeveloped land that needs investment and until or more to the point this is done then I’m afraid it is difficult to put a value on this hence why SP fluctuates so much !
It does seem that the wheels of the church turn very slowly indeed. However they do turn. Believe things might at long last be coming to fruition, despite years of setbacks. Clearly share price declined over that time, and I'm not a fool to believe that the highs once seen will be achieved quickly again, however although its a longish shot, news thats been shared does point to things nearing final completion. I do ask myself what value would you place on a company that could pull off this awe inspiring deal, and its clearly many multiples of the current price. So I look at things on a risk/reward basis, don't think anyone disputes the reward, except one person who thought that 40 miles of undeveloped unspoilt Crete, including secluded bays and headlands was "worthless". But every village has one. So with a lot of the work already completed, and the share price depressed by long stale bulls eventually leaving (or dying). It does present a good opportunity to the fresh investor. Know we do have many here who bought in years ago at much higher and that some are naturally disgruntled, however with respect sometimes with stock you have to cut your position at a loss, and that's the hardest thing to do, and either invest elsewhere or return at a later date. So I can see the price continuing to rise here, and I'll probably increase my position on any weaknesses. Good luck to all the firm hands here, some really do deserve it.
Hopefully as Europe opens up again, we will see some opportunity for some high class property developments in Crete. Are whispers breaking of a deal, being finalised. Very few top undeveloped locations left, and some of the most unspoilt ones would certainly attract serious premium for the perfect private ones.
