I'd want a pretty steep premium to current sp to be happy about MILA being swallowed by Liontown. Let us see what the gold results look like from Liontown's first cores and hope the sp doesn't fall much further before then
Easy to see MILA getting swallowed by Liontown here in due course following today’s news and an absolute bargain whilst it trades at such a discount to the recent issue price in November’s fund raising. It just needs some PR to get things moving imo.
I suspect we will have an RNS to let us know when all the permitting has been secured and a rough time window for the respective drills for Liontown and MILA
Should be imminently
Any ideas when the JV starts drilling?
Agree, see an easy 100% here once JV starts drilling. Mcap currently half cash! Obscene value disconnect
It’s an absolute bargain whilst it’s still below the placing price. Volumes should soon start to build ahead of news imho.
Expect this one to start getting some traction soon
Just re-read the Oct Results RNS. Let us see how quickly Liontown complete their social and environmental surveys and preparations, and can proceed to some initial drilling. And what results on the lithium and gold front it yields.
Fair enough. I'd put money on it. Oh wait...😆
Tricky, we'll see how good a forecaster or fortune-teller you are in April!
Suspect a few are just getting in while it's so cheap. The sp will be 5 x this by April.
News with MILA is always a little random in landing. All the focus of recent announcements have really been related to Lionstown and they should be simply be preparing for heritage and environmental surveys ahead of seeking drilling permissions. But maybe MILA is clearer about it's next step-out drilling targets and possibly started. Who knows?
A few large buys going through this morning. Are we due news?
I think there will be a lot of action on KVP in the year ahead between both MIRI and Liontown. Also MIRI have stated that they have been approached by others. I was tempted to add but held to the thought of not being over-invested here
One day, we'll see 500 or even 5,000 trades by midday.....no?!
Nm
Not one trade so far this morning? Where has the love gone.
It's such good value for money.. it's just not promoted enough.
Sorry, that was a bit brief.
It's part of a Mining Summary report from Berenberg. It mentions the Albemarle Deal being offer and then says about the trading halt. Not sure how linked the 2 aspects are really.
This too - Liontown trading halt to raise funds
Albemarle has pulled back from a takeover of Liontown. Gina Rinehart increased her stake in Liontown to block the t/o bid.
Saw it this morning on Bloomberg.
I see that as good news. No further distractions, strong insti support and a potential lithium bonanza under our feet.

Yes, I'm happy that it should result in MILA getting to revenue, a re-rate and a possible big buy-out more speedily
