PCR was always temporary; outbound testing will be here for a while yet.
MHC was successful in pivoting during the pandemic and has clear plans to move forward with its core DNA and RNA tests as planned...
Everyone knew the pcr test was going to be temp months ago it was just a question of for how long, what's torpedoed this was the announcement or should i say the comments last weekend which mentioned the PCR test but,now the question has got to be when are the other developments taking place?, if in 2 weeks time they tell us it will not be until Q1 then they lied to us because that indicates they are not ready ,more than waiting for covid ,so which is it because any normal company would have launched especially now.
However who is to say that pcr could be re-launched if the covid situation takes a turn for the worse especially through winter and if people start traveling abroad more,i dont wish for this on anyone but covid isnt going away overnight and if it wasn't for the money the gov would have put us back into lockdown as the figures even now are not great as it is.
taken4aride: Yes I think it's already factored in. Everyone is pretty just waiting on confirmation. Like you say it's gone down by 50% because of this. Now we can set our sights on the new product launches. Hopefully they'll bring them forward now. I'm still looking forward to seeing the update in just under two weeks.
Seems government announcement on PCR testing due sometime this afternoon....looks almost certain PCR testing to be cancelled for double jabbed travellers... hopefully already factored into current SP....
Hope they are looking into supplying LFT's also myself. Perfect op to get a deal done on them also.
As Corporal Jones said - "Don't panic Mr Mainwaring !"
I would have thought so..... SP hasn't fallen close to 50% over last few days for no reason.....
Is the PCR news in the price does anyone think? Decisions decisions.....
PCR tests will still be required for those not vaccinated, and we will still have a 'red list' or whatever they call it. Remember, many UK and EU travellers will be not fully vaccinated. I don't see why this hasn't come as a surprise?
Remember, the company said they will announce other products when the focus isn't on the COVID tests. Why would we have an investor presentation in October? Probably because the new products will be shared.
Chill out. Personally, this is a fantastic time to top up. If not, sell and move on.
Looks like bottomed out just above 2p level......ouch!
Can sell my whole holding at 2.11 but can’t get a price on buying 10. Funny that
Mhc currently feels like a being a passenger on the Titanic. Those predicting a strong rebound to 6p
Will I think be disappointed. The bod will have to drastically improve their communication skills particularly with regards to financial details and numbers .
The bod should have launched their new products when Covid sales were booming. Now any announcement will be against a negative backcloth.
If they get their act together and launch new products quickly that sell well then maybe on a 1 or 2 year view Mhc will recover.
Talk of 5p 10p 25p 100 p within days is now looking rather foolish.
Looks like Shapps is expected to make the formal announcement later today (or 'tomorrow' for those of us who haven't slept yet):
- Ministers are expected to unveil a major shake-up of the Government's international travel rules tomorrow
- Changes made by Grant Shapps could see green and amber lists merged into one list of low-risk nations
- The double-jabbed will no longer have to take costly PCR tests when they return to England from abroad
- There is also growing speculation that the number of countries on the toughest red list will be reduced
