Pleasant glow your say ? Time for a song.

Yes, it could be much worse. There's a pleasant autumnal glow outside and I don't live in England.
War crimes aside, I'm afraid this is a "show me improvements first" stock especially after the severe price slide they suffered when Woodford had 20% and his old mucker Barnett at Invesco had another 20% (not acting in concert, of course, perish the thought) & had to unwind their positions on a less than enthusiastic market place.
I bought my first ones at about 35p as I thought 40p was about right but the latest ones have come in at sub 24p.
Sooner or later they will rise but these markets currently are brutal to companies that have yet to prove their worth, in spades.
Meanwhile, back in the ward room with the scnapps out, possibly even some Kimmel, life looks better eh ?
I heard Canaccord has a worst case valuation 40p. Singer target price 66p. Ought to be a no brainer but that has been the case for a while. I’ve been thinking the poor performance of my shares is karma for nazi war crimes.
Hope springs eternal…
incredible value here
perhaps still £40-50m of cash; a roster of highly attractive equity stakes; earning its way managing third party funds
one of the best value tiddlers imv
Indeed, the deep brown I would suggest is what we are all in ?
"In conversation with Mercia" .
Mr. Cameron had a slogan "We're all in it together" which suddenly seems very appropriate.
There’s the slogan again. I think they’re trolling us.
I see that MERC are doing a virtual shareholder event on Nov 1, RNS this morning...
price was £3m/11.7% total valuation of equity
would be interesting to know more about Spine's current metrics
Spinal Lego. Synthetic spinal augmentation umm..! They should call it "Lumbar Jack". Sorry. Appears value added, so I will give it some deeper analysis.
As for the "dynamic duo" ? full marks to Whitehall for running the country, in the absence of a Government.
Of the 2 direct investments announced today, Axis Spine is one I have and is a very promising business.
At present we don't know what the price is, perhaps this is one of the "no new material information will be disclosed" ?
Interesting that you predict a bit of S&M for the "dynamic duo", as they both live in Greenwich which is just across the river from me, when I hear their high pitched squeals I'll let you know !

Good to hear you attended a respectable venue and ref. the lap dancing, people nearly paid big money to see Liz & Kwasi dance in front of bunch of hedge fund managers, but I think Jeza has dragged them away to the cross party committee for a jolly good spanking.
Boards
It might well have been Harry's if we still had someone's expense account to stick the bill in to, but as it is all P.A. these days a wine bar of somewhat less cachet I fear, & before you ask, no we're not going on to a lap dancing club afterwards, bit too OTT in the current climate
Thanks Jeza..! Not so much a "U" Turn, but more of full on "Doughnut".
How many Doughnuts does it take to change a light bulb ? 22, 2 to take it out and twenty to put the old one back in. Doughnuts ...!
"5 Hertford Street" perchance Barchie ?
Not so much a memorial service, more a "weren't we lucky to survive" thanksgiving...
Memorial service, or champagne reception à la Kamikwasi because you were all shorting the pound?
I saw that, you can't make it up can you ?
As it happens the Tower Hotel is very handy for me but as you might recall Oct 19 (1987) was the day of the crash, & some of us involved in it are on a mission to remember it, hence my unavailability...
At the end of the RNS it says “No new material information will be disclosed.”
Can I suggest that as their new slogan?
I note that today there is a RNS out announcing the investors day next week.
But to give shareholders 6 days notice only could possibly indicate the board rate PI's as a rather annoying encumberance to their lives ?
Well after posting that they needed to start spreading the word better with Investors I have just had an invite from AJ Bell to an investors event for 3 companies, one of which is MERC, at the Tower Hotel evening of Oct 19.
And to cap it all I can't attend as I'm already committed that night !
Scharnhorst
My sincere apologies, I thought I'd just taken your bait in the Norwegian fjord !
I am astonished, a few investor days might move the SP up a bit, considering the skin that management has in the game you'd have thought there would be plenty of puffing, but not.
Someone is bound to go bottom fishing & pop MERC in their keep net unless the board do start a bit of self promoting, as jollspec says, this is grossly undervalued.
