Looking at the positives. Greg Lock ex CCC chair takes reigns in march 2020. He has constantly bought stock most notably last week. Blackrock increased position in September. Many institutions bought in July, currently holding 35%. Debt is a big concern as it is with many companies. I think at this price it is worth the gamble that the very able Mr Lock is confident in either selling the company or turning it around. He may well be a very wealthy man but as with DeHaan and Saga they are both philanthropists and they kind of business men who do not accept defeat. There has been a hell of a lot of small bot trading possibly down to shorting or an institution trying to get out without anyone noticing! They would still have to notify at some stage. This is a risk takers market, so long as its well managed there is plenty of risk/reward out there. GL
There is upside for the £2/£3 brigade, but I honestly can't see this getting back above £6 any time soon. Personally, I think they will narrow the scope of the company and dispose of some pieces, at some point (no idea which ones).
PE acquisition is also an option, but as I have previously stated the bid will be insanely low and I doubt the board will support this.
Key will be the next trading update and showing the market that the accelerated decline has been arrested. I can't see a divi being agreed if the sales/renewals are still being adversely impacted.
Just my views.
I have my fingers crossed that lockdown has encouraged companies to engage in upgrading
Their respective systems. Hopefully, Micro has boosted their sales accordingly. Will find out in Nov.
That’s about all we have to grasp onto imo.
As previously stated I have averaged down on this and wish I’d just taken the loss. Hindsight and all that.
We go into these things with our eyes open and research done and roll the dice. This company needs a branch and root clear of the board and probably broken up. Massive decline over the last 3 years of over 90%. Is there a saviour out there to buy this dog?
God, I hope so.
Thank you Strathy you have just saved me a lot of money, I was thinking about coming in here but having just read that - not a bloody chance.
Sounds grim - good luck.
Would love to hear opinions on this.
Sounds like a 25k kicking for me!
