PVX - much respect your view and conviction.
You have clearly a good strategy, all the best
have to say that after many years of investment, i have never, not once, seen a stock state that trading is ahead of expectations and see a reaction like this.
i'm invested here for medium term none the less and would imagine we move back into the £5's as we progress into June, ahead of the July 1st results.
given yesterday and today's reaction lets hope they do not state they are even further ahead of expectations on July 1st. ;)
For long term investors deciding whether to add to their holdings the key metric is the generation of new license fee revenue which was excellent and will drive the share price up. Its not often you get the opportunity to invest at such a low price whilst in possession of the published facts which is what the market is now presenting.
I genuinely wish you good luck with your investment. However I hope you are only investing what you can afford to lose. You seem to be very optimistic about future prospects of MCRO and in a way I share that sentiment. But my 10plus yrs of experience tells me there are always some unexpected hazards in investing... I got caught on few ocassions in past when everyone thought everything is hunku dorey... Arfen plc comes to my mind where I lost all my investment. Glah
It’s not all about average? Or SP dips and rises for me it’s about a yearly Dividend income and re-investment, if I can receive around 17-20K a year in dividends from Micro that will do me nicely over the next 2 years expecting it to go to £20-30 K in dividends from 3 years from now
If your here just to trade in and out it’s no wonder the daily fluctuations bother you
GLA LTH here’s to the next Dividend payment and long May they continue
so what's your average? all the gains from yesterday are gone ...
Yes, keep it simple. I've bought every dip since 280 and added on good news. Up nearly 300k plus 10k in divis. Will continue to buy the story as it improves. A move back over £10 is easily possible in short order. Would still make mcro cheap as chips given it's a world class company generating billions in revenue. Can see dividends going back to 60p within 12 months. Yet most of the posts on here just complain that the share is volatile or some other nonsense. Selling up on a whim, being manipulated by the market instead of understanding the market. Anyway, mcro going way, way higher. New cfo announcement around the corner. Interims 6 weeks away. More contracts, more deals in the fastest growing sector of the economy. These opportunities are quite rare imo. Back to 2000 a share soon enough. The story's gathering pace.
Good luck with that stratedgy??, ill just keep adding and and pick up the Divis, re-invest that and continue as previous, Hold -Divi-Re-invest-Hold Divi -Re-invest
Simple Strategy, but works !!!!!, especially now that Micro Focus has turned the corner
GLA LTH Now who is the CFO going to be ?????
Yes but on the plus side with this share you can wait until the figures have actually been published before deciding to invest as at some point during the day any gains will vanish giving you a slam dunker. Three cheers for the most loony tunes volatile share I have ever owned.
What happened at the close?
We are back to where we were at the beginning of May?
Steady as you go or slightly above expectation report resulting in a small intraday blip.
Very frustrating, let's hope the day traders have had their fun and we'll see some steady so rises.
it is a fair analogy bountyhunter
Personally I have always been of the view that pension funds are much better gauge than hedge funds for long terms prospects and safety of investment.. Hedge funds r bit like hit and run drivers
Won’t be long before one or two hedge funds start to take a serious look at Micro over the coming weeks , imo
With revenue stabilising and a decent Divi in the offering Micro will once again become an attractive stock to hold
They won’t leave it till the results come out in July , imo I think they will start to load up May-June
Just as the shiorts start to exit
GLA LTH still on for £6-8 this year , imo
