All our short friends seems to have gone away today. Funny that the company isn't going bankrupt today but yesterday it was and the world was on fire D:)
Im not bothered mind. I read reports / RNS and if im happy with progress then the current SP means little.
Well today feels much different.. a sense of calm on the stock, and dare I say realisation that the news was actually positive. I feel this may be the final opportunity to see this at these levels
The company is doing well so stop panicking over the SP. How can you say a company in the middle of 3 year turn round plan which is on track should fire the CEO. Its always been a 3 year plan but people ignore that.
For info where I work the account I manage, we made a 7mill loss 2 years ago, 800k last year and this year we will make 2 mill profit. It takes time and the deal I manage generates 20 mill per year. Imagine how long it takes to turn a company with 3 billion revenue. Patience is needed
The Previous CEO sold a massive asset and spunked all the money on a special dividend whilst watching the SP decline and the revenue fall off a cliff. MCRO wont get worse under SM and thats a good thing for now. The SP is priced like it will fail. Once the market sees that its not only not going to fail it will start growing again then the SP will recover or someone who wants to get in bed with AWS will buy it out. Its highly attractive from a VC perspective also because its assets are worth more than its whole. It looks like 2022 will be the year where the bad laundry is finally aired and gone and the first decent P&L by the end of 2022 with 2023 being moderate growth. Just wait for the SP action when the RNS says "MICROFOCUS RETURNS TO PROFIT" 500m Free cash flow! Instead of constant paper losses and declines.
has that peasant murdoch gone yet?
opulentia what do you think of your hero Stephen now?
would be most interested in your current thoughts.
he's been a disaster from the start of his tenure and then all the way back down from £5.50 at the trading update before last.
how many chances does he get before he is shown the door?
