To be honest this feels like deja vu, we have been here before I hope that this time around we are on the up, I wonder if we'll get some kind of update in the morning, operational update and work program and AGM announcement. Would be nice to keep the momentum on the up. Cash raise ? Not sure about that but would be better at a higher price and possible rights issue, would there be any takers?? GLA
MB did say that the governor does not have a veto.
SP will start moving upwards in anticipation of the District approval signature.
If not signed in few weeks then back to 2.7p
SSPL not required to start Heron production.
I have just looked the weather in the capital at least is still very cold but warming up rapidly. Hopefully action here will do so as well.
Yes i would tend to agree on first reading i thought that is it we have set a light to the touch paper and now watch the SP move but on closer inspection I think that this is just the beginning of the end. 3-6 months but i notice with interest that this time MB does not hold back on who the troublesome party is so i am assuming he has been given some kind of green light to go on the offensive which to me means that if he does not act soon the government will finally step in and take control. When that happens this SP will shift rapidly. Shares will drop back tomorrow.but if you are out and want to stay out fine but if you are out and want to be in for all the action that could be at anytime in the next month or so. Also i wonder if interesting it came on 1st of the month.
Thornogson,
On Friday, at the peak of the price, I sold a part of my holdings and was very pleased with it. So, your advice is very timely. As soon as the price crashes again, which I have little doubt about, I will certainly heed your advice. Thanks and GL
The RNS which was released on Friday doesn't give the thumbs up to do get MB to start preparations for drilling .
What it does is show shareholders that things are progressing very rapidly. The formalities will be completing in due course and that PM will be in the driving seat
This fact alone is enough to push the sp up slowly and steadily and those hoping for a 5x bagger and more will have to wait some more time.
GLA
I thought dqe is there for the multi well programme and pay as you earn?
This land use permission won't take long few weeks tops, everything's agreed and land use will be something that government will ask ministry to allow or authorise temporarily, this is not something that requires alot of work
As stated all will be ready just in time for us to start well drilling/production, MB has already started the game
Investor33- very similar to yourself too . My average is 4.15p didn’t get caught quite so bad as that but when I had cash available to stock up I went for more yet it coincided with so many false dawns followed by more delay upon delay. Now I console myself with the thought that if I wanted to buy any large amount the price would have risen against me .
I’m fairly confident we’ll see the DQE JV announced in a few weeks since it’s been on the cards for some time and obviously could only be progressed to final signature as and when the land access permit is resolved. I think it all suits PC well insofar as it makes sense commercially got the under capacity they have at their refinery and it generates profit for their contracting division- plus seeing it ramp up as a JV gives them a better partnership image than they’ve had before , having upset the Mongolians before. Maybe even leading to a bid in a couple of years !
Good luck or rather well done got keeping the faith ! It’s been tough at times but we’ll be rewarded now !
I do agree @master, it's very positive although there will be another round of legal stuff to go through for this to sign off. SP will probably slide slightly down until then
By the time Matad are finally allowed to start production they'll find a cheeky side track from a nearby well well has emptied the reservoir
Or they have come to realise that if meaningful foreign investment and expertise is to be attracted then they must change their ways.
Which they appear to be doing albeit slowly.
It's all moving the right way.
3.8p, why not come back from the 'dark side' Manro. Your ramping used to be some of the best.
Representatives of branch ministries, agencies, etc went to the "PDAC"-2024 international conference to be held in Toronto, Canada, to promote Mongolia's mining industry and attract investment.
The descendants of Genghis Khan, based on the experience of PM, mastered the latest methods of robbery and went to Canada in search of new naive investors around the world, who they would catch on their hook with highly calibrated Western CEO-worms.
It would be great if a Canadian or some other PM investor in Toronto and tear the mask off the face of these modern robbers at this conference...
SP would've fallen on Friday if news was nit positive.
It had more than 4 hours to fall back to 2.70.
Its looking positive. Locals will benefit .
THEY NEED OIL FOR REFINERY..
THEY can't rely on just one well. They need to get 10 wells up and running to feed the refinery . Pointless building refinery only to rely on PC falling production.
RUSSIAN FUEL CRISES SHOULD'VE MADE THEM REALISE THEY NEED FUEL INDEPENDENCE
To be fair to "Professional", I believe he's not English, so the odd strange spelling / sentence structure is understandable.
Anyway, I agree that it's time for us all to be more positive towards each other. These are potentially very positive times for this stock...and about time too. Let's all try and focus on that and enjoy how things unfold over the next few days and weeks.
It'll be interesting how the SP goes over the next few days. Assuming no further RNS I wouldn't be surprised to see it drop back a bit. Obviously I hope this isn't the case and that Friday's news has piqued the interest of a few investors who have been sat on the side-lines up until now. I see a few predictions of 4.5, 5, even 6p. That'd be a great start point ready for the next rise on the "it's all done and we can pump oil" RNS.

Another 3-6months - creating a form and asking them to sign it lol, the amount of legal stuff to go through. SP will just fall back to 3p over time
@Thornogson : at least what I write is reasonably coherent and legible. And I know the difference between ' there ' and ' their. '
Everybody makes the odd typos with grammar or spelling - I'm sure that you do too - but the likes of 'Professional ' give the impression that they never attended a school.
My point is that if someone writes in an incoherent and illegible manner, then it's hard to take their investment or trading opinions seriously. If WOS is not European then I will make an exception for him.
Very sunny here.
Frost. Daffs out. Off to tennis.
Happy to read all posts, it takes seconds and they make absolutely no difference to what is actually happening in mongolia.
Which is what will decide if we're 15p a share in July or 1.5p.
Posts influence what you think though.
Come one, come all and let the individual decide.
But let's try to avoid the needless name calling.
Illusory truth effect
The main point from The RNS is that district government has agreed for land use. They even gave permission to prem the site before winter.
Its only the province government holding the special purpose license due to overlap .
This can easily be resolved legally.
And no need for the full stop with a question mark.
Researchandhold said //BP is like a stain on humanity//
investor33 - can't think of the name for it right now. Where someone makes stuff up & repeats it so often that others begin to believe the lies?
A little light reading over breakfast https://jaran.mn/i/3613
Badprophet ; what do you mean when you say you have consistently wished all the LTHs good fortune ?
Just about every day that the share price has dipped you have been on here gloating, and basically revelling at every possible opportunity in schadenfreude. You even started carping on about how it looked certain that PM would be going bankrupt soon.
You have not shown the slightest bit of sensitivity to the emotions of the LTHs on here - so cut out the hypocrisy please.
Researchandhold : I also bought shares over a series of tranches starting in 2019, ending up with a similar number of shares to you. So we are in a very similar position. It has been incredibly galling to watch profits on the numerous spikes dissolve into heavy paper losses several times over during that time. I could have taken out decent profits and then bought back in much lower. My worst mistake was when I got caught out buying about £4,000 worth during the 8p spike when the exploitation licence was granted, just before the subsequent raise which was announced straight after. My average is 4.1p.
Hopefully it will be calmer waters ahead - though I am tempted to sell a portion if we reach 7 or 8p with a view to reinvesting some of the profits if there is another raise. Without a signed contract with DQE a raise is surely only a matter of time. I would guess that they will announce another raise once the LP documentation is finalised.
It's odd that nothing more has been said about the signing of the DQE contract - we were told that it was with them awaiting a signature months ago. Maybe they won't sign until the LP permits are finalised ? Perhaps it's the same with PC?
It seems that the BB is now 90% discussing who said what to whom and when .
No amount of ramping or deramping or name calling has ever affected the sp in any way shape or form.
We have seen the truth ourselves from what has happened yesterday .Only officially released bulletins will bring this SP to where we all want to see.
Lets all concentrate on the real issues folks.
