ID78.
Looks like you don't know anything about PM then.
Do you know there's a huge facilities only 15 or so kilometres away from heron field.
Road is meters away from heron
ID78 - if you're gonna quote please do so accurately!
Nup, I agree with BP.
Once they pump the oil there is no route to market.
If only someone could invent a thing with 4 wheels, an engine and a big tank on the back to store all the oil.
Almost as funny as BP’s… ‘even if they get a land permit they’re doomed. I know a company selling oil that makes a loss’ comment. Personally I know a few oil companies that made a LOT of money last year :)
Some big numbers coming through this morning, more sells than some were maybe expecting. Let's keep it real, we only have the LP when notified, until then, we don't. We've been here before and been dissapointed, but I feel we're on the cusp of something good, but let's keep it realistic in our future expectations. ATB
Great post D1nger. Had to repost it for those who may have missed it!

Mr Positive posted an excerpt earlier today that Matd believes should Velociraptor be successful they will be able to produce 90k barrels per day by 2028 with a CAPEX of $5 per barrel. That is absolutely insane. $5 per barrel? Wow!
I’ve always loved fantasising about what could be and this had me wondering all day about what this means to those of us willing to see things through.
If, and it’s a big IF, that happens then Matd would make $1.8 billion a year profit before tax at $60 per barrel. If Matd awarded 10% to shareholders as dividends then that would be equivalent to 18p per share.
Then I imagine what if the price of oil was $100 per barrel? Well it would be $3.1 billion per year profit or 31p per share dividend.
That is just Velociraptor if successful. Fox would provide the same again if successful. So would Phoenix.
Heron is just under one third the size of Velociraptor but it also has the potential to provide dividend generating profits and that is the significance of the granting of the LP.
So if Velociraptor, Fox and Phoenix are all successful and each of them produce 90k barrels of oil per day then this company can realise a profit of over $5.4 billion a year before tax.
We currently have an mcap that reached $50m today. In 4 or 5 years time our annual profit could be 100 times our current mcap.
Then we have our renewable energy project to think about and the other targets.
It’s scary but it’s worth thinking about if you are considering selling below 10p per share.
Might not sleep tonight lol.
BP - you can see I’m more of a realist here but would counter that the market is typically forward looking and IF that blasted LP ever arrives, the SP could spike significantly quite fast, before settling back down. In fact, I’d put money on this spiking some 100% past where it eventually settles. So potentially an opportunity to lock in some very nice profits and buy back in later at a much lower price, to then ride it back up again.
My problem? I’m a useless trader and always get the timing wrong.
Amazing for sb who has no interest but 24/7 giving advice to shareholders!
What is wrong with him?
Mental?!
Why does anyone read what Badprohet says he's just a NOB
Bad . Where do you think PC is selling oil.
You talk rubbish.
MATD would probably make more money over the long term going it alone. But if a Shell type company came in now and offered 20-30p, I’m sure most would agree to it. My average in price is 2.95p, so I’d be delighted by a 10x bagger. But let’s get LP first.
I think some of you guys are getting a bit ahead of the game. Any production from Heron is likely to be quite low for starters until more wells a drilled & even IF the drilling of new fields yields worthwhile finds they surely won't come into production before the refinery is up and running.
If that were to happen it would be fantastic and really opens the door to the big institutions coming on board as the Pension funds would not want to miss out on that..
But the question i have at the back of my mind is if all this comes off ie Velociraptor, Fox and Phoenix would not one of the big boys want to get in on the act and we would get sold on. I can see us doing a deal with DQE to exploit Heron but are we really big enough and is DQE big enough tor us to produce that sort of barrellage accross this range of fields so consistently. I know that Shell i think it was sold out to us some time ago but that was in a pre-pandemic world and have since mothballed a number of their marginal fields and was wondering if the finds were big enough and or commercial enough they would want back in. The problem there would be access to a refinery.until Mongolia's is up and running. Rather than wait for it all and miss out a rise in price of taking profit a sell on to a major would work very nicely for my pocket. But live in hope. GLA
I wonder where this will be come Friday close.
North of here for sure.
Then Monday open with or without RNS?
It's looking like 2023 will be Matad's year, or quite possibly decade?
A multi-well Heron field and a foot in the door of Mongolia's green sun and wind energy future would guarantee a lot of very rich investors.
Chance of success >80%?
Of course there may be multiple other oil fields out there to.
The share price and certainty of a BP/Shell with all the fun and excitement of Frontier oil exploration.
Risk free roulette.
that bloody blonde woman's back again!
Nope still here. Im not selling my placing shares
Thanks blissful............wow............this is scarily exciting

Anyone that bought the placing is either gone by now for a quick, safe (low) return or is sticking about for the LP.
Hamm - you know I can’t take a word of what you say seriously because of your massive flip flopping, but seriously, how many times have you written “LP = 20p” in the last few months. Even weeks.
Got to be at least 1000? I’ll have a little count later!
I agree. This could be double digit in a couple of days before LP landed.
LP=20p+
Stick to your golden shares guys.
Life changing share.
This is an amazing opportunity. Don't miss that.
L2 very strong.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the credible posters here… master, D1nger in particular…..and the many others… now the doomsday merchants have disappeared this board is a pleasure again.
Over to MB and the gang to get us to double digits very soon!
We’ve had 2 rounds of dilution since then so I don’t the think we’ll break those highs so easily.
That LP drops and we’re gone
Next resistance is 7.6p, but that’s based on highs from mid 2021 and may not be too strong, unlike the levels we smashed through yesterday.
I wouldn’t be shocked to see this SP north of 7p this week.
Of course news means these numbers become irrelevant!
