Master82 - you seem to have taken a page out of iamrich’s foul mouthed vocabulary. You’re better than that scumbag of a chav, don’t lower your standards.
Regarding the Mongols, the people vote in the government. The government clearly want them on side, so is it so hard to believe this could drag on a long time yet if the government decide they’d rather the local people be ok with it and try to mediate?
Same as I'm reading it ID - if that's the case I am more p*ssed off with Buck. This is not a deramp. I am totally behind PM and believe it will come good, but his treatment of private investors is appalling and he could of managed this better to the benefit of investors but I tend to go with Sirbob's previous comments that I don't think he has been truthful in some of the info he has put out. I believe investors have lost money due to him. I also think he has mismanaged and misunderstood the local issues of the Dornod Province and the land problems in that area. Hence why we are where we are now. As said this is my own opinion. He needs to sort it now and pull his finger out.
ID - correct.
I’m in another stock (POW) and they churn out an RNS every week it feels.
So… unlimited RNS but cost £20k a year?
Or am I reading that wrong.
Dozzawba its free to register but cost about 20k a year Introduction

I read on a BB (so this is not necessarily fact!)
£5000 for an RNS.
Is this true - not a clue. But I wouldn’t be surprised.
Something that I have always wondered as is it the reason why Buck seems to be reluctant to post RNS's. Anybody know the cost to a company to post a RNS on the stock exchange. I have tried looking but cannot seem to find the cost anywhere.
IMO you wouldn't get this constant recurrence of sentiment with our SP if Buck posted a RNS more frequent. You cannot tell me that any news coming in, all comes in at once on the 4 fronts we are waiting news on - Heron, Velociraptor, New Licences and Renewables. This seems to create a constant theme. RNS, excitement, SP rises, sentiment rises, then slowly week by week no news, sentiment slips, FUD is ramped up, and SP drops again before the next RNS. Traders dream whereas IMO if Buck was to post more frequent RNS's I believe we would get a constant build up of the SP with an almighty boom when the most awaited RNS arrives. As said just my thoughts. So go back to my original question does anyone know the cost of posting a RNS ???
This nonsense abouy waiting for the refinery to open to grant the special land use. Do you think they will be happy to open it with 500bpd from Heron 1.
There is no reason they can count on Petro China's oil which is currently crossing the border.
They need oil for a refinery that has a 30k capacity it is just common sense for them to allow us to build out production up.
There is no evidence that the LP resubmission request to Matad soum has been rejected.
... might still be being twin tracked.
As WOS says,
- would they be pushing the paperwork 2 years early
- cash now (albeit reduced a little) vs cash starting in 2 years?
- ramping up production from Heron will take time - how many wells are we talking?
- finally. How many years production from Heron? So what % thought the refinery and how much not? Given the point on production ramp up I think we are talking about more than 90% of the oil going through the refinery. So in the big picture how much money is lost by pumping a little of it now and selling rather than waiting to send to their own refinery?
So delaying till the refinery is ready - nup don’t see it.
Mr Ibiza they send Special Certifucation document to all Ministry 2 year in advance?? LOL
Do not think so & think truer logic is "1-3 month sorted" by Mining Minister was enough time to see if could do at local level - could not
Now straight to Special Certifucation via pro Business cabinet.
Think this is much more logical then Ibiza think this or that ;)
Govt want revenue as well to be happy :)
Must admit i am beginning to come to conclusion that the MG want the investment but are quite prepared to delay things until the refinery is ready rather than have it all rush out of the door into the hands of the Chinese. hence the delaying tactics. Just hope i am wrong.
April 3 RNS
-Special Certification
-All Documents already prepare & sent to Ministries
- Project of National Importance
- Mining Minister said will get it done
- 2nd Tranhe New Licence Block need Foreign investment

Be Happy :)
Some talk nonsense here.
Who doesn't want to be rich. .
Even the rich wants to be richer that's 2by You are all here . Humans are greedy that just the way we are made.
DOC why don't you look in to how many foreign companies work in Mongolia.
Yes BP - and that’s why they are actively encouraging investment.
So it doesn’t happen and to stay small scale.
LOL
Maybe they've looked at the hugely rich Arabian oil states & don't really like what they see. Happy to keep things small scale.
Its not panic its cutting losses. The longer the wait is for permission, the lower this will drop. Simple. Either hold/top up and average down.. or sell up, miss a bit of the first rally and jump in when you know its not tickertape you are holding.. imo dyor etc
Talking like an idiot again Doc.
Why would they go million miles away for exhibition to promote Mongolia for exploration.
And meet different country members on weekly bases.
Why don't you do some research before you open your backside where thìs smell is coming from. .
What do we smell here Doc Shiit
Yeah but Doc (assuming you are correct - none of us know the wishes of the majority of the Mongolian people) … it’s the government that want investment and the government awarding special certificate.
So….. your argument about the people (a massive assumption) means nothing.
"If the Mongolian government doesn't give LP, they can forget attracting foreign investors."
Maybe they (the majority of Mongols) don't want to attract foreign investment and like their country just as it is.
Fair enough at a Mongolian Government level.
From a Petro Matad investor perspective they're two pieces of paper that achieve the same result.
So different it that they do the same thing.
This header not right....gives wrong impression
Sounds like we need to wait 1-3 months ????
We already waited 3 months.
expect RNS anyday now.
got cut off
ALSO GOOD NEWS .... MRPAM support us which may help against any departmental resistance.... but I genuinely believe this route will take longer
That's all folks! Have a good evening
//Land Permit/Special Purpose Certificate. You know the difference. Does it change anything?//
Actually is does change things. If people stopped reacting and read below !!!
We were told special Purpose certification would be fixed between 1 - 3 months in October. We were subsequently then told to go back to the local soum to try once more to get the local LP agreed.
NB ...... Clearly this was a political decision..... they WANT the locals to agree, they don't want to have to override the locals.
However in parallel the MRPAM are advising we get special purpose certification in lieu of the agreed licence. This needs buy in from government departments before being presented to cabinet....
It is still entirely feasible we will get the LP from the soum .... and we actually don't know whether the 2nd request has gone back to the soum yet.
GOOD NEWS (for those that can't interpret) If it does and if granted this will be quick, no need to special purpose certificate and all politicians will be very happy.
ALSO GOOD NEWS
C&C Does it matter ?
Rns States:Documentation has been prepared by the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and circulated to other relevant ministries in advance of submission to cabinet to secure approval to certify the Block XX Exploitation Area as a Special Purpose Area. The certification is being proposed on the basis that the Heron development is a project of national importance. We are pushing for the matter to be brought to cabinet urgently in order to allow in-field activities to commence to make the Heron 1 well ready for production.
I don't care what certificate we get as long as it allows Heron to be a producer !
