Monday vlblue day ?
Next few weeks should really get interesting now
Depending on what happens.. Markets could be interesting on Monday morning
Putin's criminal Russia rotten from corruption, is becoming weaker and weaker, and very soon the day may come when it collapses. The sooner this happens, the better for the whole world and especially for Mongolians. For whom this will be a good lesson to distance from huge Russian influence and overcome the similar corrupt power vertical.
Agree with every word of that, Thornogson. Especially the better the devil you know comment!
Almost better the devil you know? I'm not sure how stable Yevgeny Prigozhin is and I'm not sure he'll be much of an improvement.
But Ukraine should be able to use this to their advantage I'd have thought.
Surely Russian units will be being called back to Moscow?
Interesting times but nothing that'll affect Mongolia and Petro Matad except perhaps to reinforce the Government's belief in the merits of independence of energy supply?
Im sure Russia is not that weak .25000 men won't be able to takeover Russia .
China Iran and others will start to get involved.
Nato plan to topple Russia then Iran and then china.
The world is not safe for anyone anymore.
Wagner on route to Moscow …
Iamrich- another stat for you…
Little old UK’s GDP is nearly twice that of Russia. So if reverting to a war time economy, even we’d be able to see Russia off on our own.
Iamrich - and don’t be dumb enough to think of the West wanted Putin out of Ukraine, they couldn’t do it. They’d have it done in a day. The US have sent 31 tanks… they have 9000. The West are happy to keep Putin bogged down in Ukraine for years if need be. Why? Because if they did humiliate Putin on the battlefield then he could do something stupid. But equally they can’t have him winning and marching on to another country, potentially a NATO country.
Russia are militarily knackered. They have one aircraft carrier that dates back to WW2 chugging around and the pride of the Black Sea Fleet (Moskva) was sunk by some Ukrainian fishermen. All they have is lots of artillery to flatten cities. They’re even having to buy kamikaze drones from Iran FFS.
I said it at the start Putin has not started a war for a few days his started disruption for the next ten years, while western media kept saying put is losing on the second day of the fight lol,
Putin is bringing Europe to its knees and when things do back to normal he or russia will be in a better place to dictate
business
Putin if he wanted would just flatten Kiev and zelensky today but his just want this to go on for as long as possible, don't be dumb to think Putin Russia doesn't have the tools to take out the capital city in one day
Nothing will happen to Putin, all media from west is biased and full of bull crap, Putin is loved trust me and the Americans and west to this day are still buying uranium form him,
Like badprofit said business is business money talks
The west are making a packet from this war and when Ukraine will be a money pit for us, longer the war goes in the bigger the debt for Ukraine to us
*persuade the West it HAS reformed
Very true, both BP and Manx. To counter again, there was never a shortage of energy, but rather a lack of infrastructure. Plenty has now been put in place, hence energy prices falling and no concerns for the coming winter or beyond. Long term, Russia can’t keep giving away its oil for next to zero.
I think there’s plenty to go yet with this Wagner story. And if incredibly Russia does manage to persuade the West it’s not reformed, it’ll be a long time before sanctions are loosened.
Regardless, all that matters to us right now is still the LP. And maybe a successful drill on V1.
But if Russia under a new regime wishes to enter the world, they will need to pay for the rebuilding of Ukraine. This could be done in part by the west demanding supply of discounted Russian commodities and paying the money, or a large part of those monies, to Ukraine as a form of getting their hands on the money for reparations for the unlawful invasion and destruction of Ukraine.
We will see, but I can see the commodities sector being skewed for a while going forward.
If/when sanctions are lifted the oil importers will probably buy wherever it's cheapest. Business is business.
Even if Putin was toppled and a more moderate leader installed, I doubt the West will go back to Russian oil and gas.
This could have a knock on affect with India and other Asian countries who are getting cheap oil and gas from Russia. Mongolia gets oil from Russia. The other day, the Russians we’re going to pump a larger volume for Mongolia to build up big reserves as the Russians are closing the pipeline/ refinery for a few weeks maintenance.hopefully this will spur the MG to prioritise oil independence a bit more vigorously. We can hope🤔
I did a lot of test buys yesterday and indeed very hard to buy , most I could get up was £3k worth and lowest price 3.85……compare that to when I sold 3m a week or so ago and sold the lot within 15 mins…….probably hoovered up by Mongolian cabinet ministers knowing they have to issue licence soon ! I mean it is corrupt Mongolia!
The EU had a conference 2 weeks ago for "the day after" with Russia in regards to Ukraine.
Now we have a huge development in Russia with strong words and anger in the eyes of Putin. The military seem to be standing by and letting Wagners move freely in Russia. Wagner are only 1 days march from Moscow!!! Roscov and all of the huge military base and munitions are under Wagners total control.
If the uprising does result in a full regime change in Moscow, then the EU will want to align itself and work with the new power base as early as possible. This will probably mean strong contracts for oil and gas and without sanctions, oil prices could fall fast.
This could affect the ultimate value of our investments here.
Watch out for this.
Equally the world could give a huge sigh of relief and turn the taps on for development and growth which may keep the prices up.
A very uncertain time with volatility in the commodity markets including the oil price lies ahead of us.
Do wonder if there'll be any loose lips during these proceedings 🤔. But while we wait, GLA

Fair point Doc!
PS - we should have drilled to our first target today 😀
