But not out of our Wells yet
Sentiment will move this short term but hopefully through 2024 and 2025 the share price will be dictated by oil production rates, field development plans and then down the line renewables.
The hardest part was bypassing local planning laws which has been done now.
With DQE working to develop Heron it's really just a case of waiting for it to all happen.
I'm still planning to celebrate Christmas eve by the log burner whilst planning how best to enjoy my future prosperity.
Traders should make money?
Holders will make money+++ once the oil starts to flow.
//Hopefully MB releases the news step by step rather than a big RNS//
You'd prefer a series of small drops in the SP rather than one big one? LOL
Yep could start to move this week
Hopefully MB releases the news step by step rather than a big RNS so the share price gets momentum.
I guess from Thursday RNS expected.
...Could be the perfect time for little old MATD to deliver positive news... ;-)
Climbingwoster- please don’t feed the trolls it only encourages them 😆
Why would it now go teets up?
//Patience is name of the game here.//
But do you keep being patient until the show goes teets up?
Think when you have very easy to identify investment point like Petro Matad
- Have Heron Oil Asset
- Block XX near field
- Toson Uul 2 Billion PROVEN & PRODUCING (Blocks 19&21)
- DQE all terms agreed
- Strategy for FULL FIELD DEVELOPMENT with low cost/ offtake
- Renewable near term
- New Blocks
- Special Land Certifucation derisked
- Expect Q3 Operations start
- Move to Producer / Revenue generator
- MULTIPLE RNSs Q3
All above specific for MÀTD investment so then person try to talk about past "maybe this maybe that" when research will show WHAT change have happen since & HOW affect economy NOW.
No one say out ALL money in one stock but think PROFESSIONAL research different from someone who just throw sonething in with no direct with what happening NOW ;)

Mr Bowlwy "Mongolia has a very special past"
I will say Mongolia (and Petro Matad have a very special FUTURE.
This is why so important to do CURRENT research and understand what is different now to past to understand also opportunity for Country, Petro Matad & Shareholders.
This is for investor to make own decision with own money but research I do from past & now in Mongolia economy & polotuc give me LOT of confidence in my investment
We see next RNS which is immant now ;)
Bowley
I think and hope that that is the old culture you are refering to and the one which i think the Guardian article alludes to. The new Mongolia looks as if it is trying to work more closely with western companies hence visits from senior politicians the question is how far behind this change is the rest of Mongolian society. Worrying but i am still positive. Patience is name of the game here.
Thanks, Bowley.
This is one of the reasons I haven’t gone “all in” on MATD. When people say “what can possibly go wrong”, I know we are dealing with a third world country sandwiched between two of the most corrupt (and powerful with it) nations in the world.
Let’s hope this comes good soon. This stock is not one I would personally want to be invested in for years.
WOS. A bit of bed time reading for you. Just putting it out there. Mongolia has a very special past.
Laws and public announcements often are reversed upon in Mongolia. It has become challenging for businesses and investors to know when government statements are final and factual, as changes after things are seemingly in writing or official do happen.
Under Mongolia’s law, the government has the right of up to a 34% stake in Strategic Mines, much like its 34% stake in Oyu Tolgoi that has led to so many problems between government and mining company that the Oyu Tolgoi mining project is now years behind
Canadian mining company named Khan Resources owned the license to a uranium mine in the northeastern Dornod region of Mongolia from 2003 until 2009 (though they did not sell it or relinquish it in 2009). The deposit is believed to be Mongolia’s largest uranium deposit. Then came a few Russian state visits to Mongolia including one from Vladimir Putin and Khan Resources awoke one morning to discover their license was now owned by a Russian company (AtomRedMetZoloto). As a result, Canadian miner Khan Resources sued the government of Mongolia in international arbitration.
In 2011, after a lengthy bidding process for operating half of the Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi coal mega-mine, a winning consortium was announced. The winning consortium included China Shenhua and Peabody of the United Sates. Shares of public companies involved in the bidding process that won went up on the news. 46 days later, the government of Mongolia announced its National Security Council led by President Elbegdorj had reviewed the bidding process and nullified the entire bidding process.
New bloc applications and IOM meeting
I do not understand why new bloc discussions would have anythiing to do the IOM meeting and i assume the formation of a new company. We have a company dealing with oil and that would deal with the new bloc applications unless you are implying there is something other than oil involved here.
Petro Matad Engery is either to do with renewables as WOS has indicated or another branch of conventional energy ie Gas as i have indicated. I struggle to understand why we need to go into partnership with MG for oil as that is after all our forte or supposed to be.
Clearly relevant Jimithebrush and indicative of the issues businesses face trying to deal with the Mongolian Government, and that's businesses the Goverment are keen to support!
Hopefully the Government should have little direct role to play in the Heron field development once any outstanding issues with the Land Permit have been sorted. Produced oil will be transported and sold however refinery or not.
So it's acceptable to post hundreds of posts of the same s h I t day in day out but someone posts something that they thought may have been of a genuine interest to people thinking that the sharing of information was acceptable and gets shot down for sharing said info. No wonder people stop posting if it doesn't fit in with the superior researchers narrative. I could understand if I was being negative but all I've ever wanted in my 6 years invested in MATD is for it to come good. And no I won't sell up thanx as I'm fully invested here. 😡
Do not worry mr Professional lol. Meeting direct with top man Mining Minister J Gambaat in Dornod Capital tell me RNS about to come.
Have good evening sir :)
WOS's "intel" wasn't intel at all - just a narcissistic ruse to attract attention to himself over the weekend.
Just popped in to see the impact Wos intel had on the SP. I was devistated to see the SP lower. Again no 7p or double digit...
Retest of 4p seems more likely now imho dyor
WOS, that makes sense if the IOM discussions related to new block applications, thanks
Nothing to do with Block XX unless someone have reference I miss.
Mr GKahn
I think discussion on PSC negotiation refer to New licence block in tender round.
Check section 2023 Exploration Licensing Round in 22 May 2023 Operational Update.
"Negotiations with the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia on the application for a block in Phase 1 of the 2023 open tender round ........."
Hope this help
Thank you Vikinglass, I must have missed this, can you let me know the date of the RNS
GKahn, it was mentioned in an RNS, however, the details were not disclosed
