It could be the inevitable P word. And I don't have the funds to take up anymore offers.
Surely the relevance is not what the price per share was when it might have been but surely what the market cap was at that particular time against what it is now. The market cap would reflect the number of shares in issue and makes comparatives like SP far more honest (imo) When i started here a few years back the number of shares was 700m now it is 1.113bn. a jump of about 30% and tbh it may higher before we finish.
All of that does not worry as i know there will be a re rate and the prices we see now will be history.
Investor33 - there are no fundamentals here. The most important fundamental is what earnings/profits a company makes. MATD doesn't make any money, so it's always been priced as hope value. That's also why it's so range bound... investors are willing bet on a hope but typically won't bet the ranch.
MMs do play games and/or can misunderstand and misprice stocks. But that isn't the case right now. This is simply a company that, for whatever reason, continually fails to deliver and is being repriced accordingly.
In fact you could draw support and resistance lines on the chart going back to 2014, and you would see how entirely range bound the price action is. You could have traded this share very successfully for many years without even needing to know what the company is involved with. Lol.
I'm looking at a MATD candlestick/bar chart going back to 2014, as that's as far as it goes. What it shows me is that in all that time the price action has consistently fallen back to support levels of 2.5p to 3.5p. It's absolutely clear when looking at a monthly or weekly chart. At one stage it shot up to 40p a share in early 2017 without an exploitation licence - Doc83 how do you explain that ? Presumably that was all down to fundamentals ?
There have also been about 10 spikes during that time up to a maximum resistance level of about 10p - it will take a lot to break through those levels.
So what we are seeing right now is completely normal when you look at a long term chart. I wonder how many on here bother to even look at charts. It seems to me that most are completely obsessed with fundamentals, because they believe that it accounts for everything. In fact this is a range bound share which is pretty predictable when you look at a long term chart. I will take at least a third out on the next spike, as based on past performance the price will plunge again soon after the top of the next spike.
This range bound price action, with high volatility at the time of the spikes is perfect for the MMs and the short term traders !
Maybe take a look at MATD in different timeframes on here ;

Not selling theres oil there and 7p or more Will return quick only games here and some guys trying to get cheap shares
WOS is busy having a meeting with mum and dad for a sub as he's invested his entire piggy bank in MATD.
Sadly AIM is indeed a barbaric game to play.. especially in last 2 years eg AIM ALL share index down Approx 45 % since Sept 2021.. pretty big ouch for me... and probably 90% of other players too, I'd guess..
Still, there's always hope for the future.. not least here.. and I'll likely be adding some back in due course here..
Also, the entertainment from the core posters 'panto' here - not least Mr WOS.... no more Mt IamRich Smallwood sadly - is much appreciated for bringing a smile in tough markets for me.
PS: Maybe Mt WOS shoe and trouser shopping again today and so no posting.. maybe even Mrs WOS expensive tastes in shoes - and him in trousers/feathers too - means he has being doing some -'sneaky sneaky' - sells of some shares in Matd to pay for all the shopping ? :-)
It's a death of a 1000 cuts. 😦
Don't say BANKRUPT - you'll frighten the horses!
Well only invest 500 pound wait until somthing happen company goes bankrupt or oil come pop out
“ It is becoming evident that the local authorities are resolved not to cooperate for the registration of the area required by the regulations on the management of special purpose land.”
I said right from the moment the July RNS landed that I had huge concerns that we still had to rely on the locals for some “formalities”. There are no MM games here… just a market having its say on the continued delays and jam tomorrow interview from our CEO, who looked less than confident when saying he “hopes” they’ll be producing before the end of this year.
If we do somehow get the locals to play ball, I reckon the next curveball will be DQE.
AIM is a casino mainly to make make money for the "house" i.e. the BoDs. Some lucky punters strike it rich, most end up losing - some heavily.
Wow lost more money on penny stock and aim. going back to normal stock.

Are you one of them?
Investor. MB got us in to this mess in the first place.
@ master 82
Re ; "Looks like no oil this year. Absolute joke . Simple paperwork is turning out to be a nightmare."
In fairness to MB, he did mention in the last update that time was wasted because the Mongolians took the whole of July off, rather than just a week or two.

Fabs - Heron 1 alone aint gonna save PM. There will HAVE to be more drills to make the operation viable. IMV
It was pointless going through the cabinet if we had to go back to the locals. wasted almost a year waiting for MG.
MB doesn't know how to negotiate and we are in limbo.
The sooner this guy goes the better. He is eating PMs funds away. 5 years of wages for 0 progress
Hamm I wish I sold at 6 7p , i was hoping we would be producing by now ,but unfortunately we have all been let down by our useless CEO .
We will have to wait another year again.
If only

Master, have you sold whole/part of your shares?
Is everybody cross on this BB because the bank holiday was a wash out ? Its still August we may have another 2 months if we're lucky to start pumping oil. Why can we mot pump oil in the winter as we do not require a drill?
Drip, drip, down again....
What the F*** is MB doing. I now long for the day of 7p + to get out ( opportunities missed before i know ).
