“MB has said the weather isn’t an issue. “
Unfortunately with MB’s track record to date - we can’t trust too much about what comes out from MB’s mouth….!
Abzzba - We can't expect any positive input from badprophet, that would far exceed all our expectations! Lol
BadP, i think its you that does not understand, its not a workover, its a completion, the well is drilled and tested, the casing in place, its a completion that needs done to bring the well onstream, quick and simple.
//I don't think you guys understand at all 😂//
I think you're correct there cyber - there's no way a 2 week workover at H1 will see PM delivering oil to market. 2023 is a write off now IMV.
All we need is this LP!
Weather conditions do halt drilling, and has been a factor on all exploration company's even with matd, two weeks of drilling is still a long time and exoecialy when your trying to pull up oil for production isn't a easier job,
I don't think you guys understand at all 😂
The make over to set the current well for oil extraction is not weather dependent. The make over (setup) will take approx 2-3 weeks. This fact is well recorded on this BB and through interviews / RNS from MB.
I am assuming if no news of drilling in the next couple of weeks into October there will no drilling until next year's spring summer time as Mongolia will enter winter months?
Any one with better knowledge on the weather side of Mongolia here?
If this is the case the the share price will drop again like always back to 2-2.5p
I doubt if the locals in the far east "get" anything much. My guess is they have a deep-seated antipathy towards the Great Khural & the glitterati in Ulaanbaatar - much like many Brits regard London & the SE as being apart from the rest of the UK.
I would see that as a good news for PM. The Mongols will realise that Russia can turn off their fuel anytime.
The sooner the locals get this the better.
Can anybody translate it ?
Must be bad for the mining minister to do a press conference.

The reason why Mongolia need s refinery. They can turn supply off anytime.
#FAST: Russia has decided to ban the export of diesel fuel and gasoline.
However, there is information that AI92 gasoline supplied to Mongolia does not apply to this ban. Due to export restrictions, Russia no longer subsidizes domestically supplied fuel. Due to this, the producers began to export their fuel in large quantities, and the domestic supply of fuel in the Russian Federation decreased and the price increased. Therefore, an export ban has been imposed and a list of companies with the right to export fuel has been prepared. However, there is information that the Angarsk factory, which supplies gasoline and diesel fuel to Mongolia, will not be subject to this restriction. Therefore, we warn that there is enough stock of AI-92 gasoline and diesel fuel, so there is no need to stockpile fuel and create an artificial shortage‼️ #shugel.mn
Master, hopefully when the PM is in Eastern Province he can sort this all out.
Either way we should get a RNS this month as PM usually releases a RNS with their Interim Results usually accompanied by an Operational Update.
Let's hope it's good news because we ruddy deserve something
Beyond drilling this s/p well into the 2'p via ongoing RNS silence on Heron first oil progress; No
Hopefully not.
Are their any further drills planned for MATD whilst they wait for lb?
Master82 - wouldn't it be a nice "brownie point" for the Eastern Provence Governor to be able to announce all formalities signed and development about to start for his meeting with OYUN-ERDENE .
ShortShrift - agree with post in full. Very well put. Frustrating, but no choice but to be patient. It’s a very whinging board at the moment, but I can understand the frustration!
Shortshrift - Apart from the first line, I agree with everything you wrote.
Avo - I don't think MB can do much more now. He looks as frustrated as everyone else.
Master - the Prime Minister/MG seem to be on our side. It's the locals that are the problem.
Let's pray something positive comes out of this for PM..
Mb should be ther with big bunch of flowers with the PM team.

Lots of research by many posters all much appreciated. I think for me this has become a simple punt. If you believe that an rns is imminent (licence and production this year) then this is the bottom and a good price to buy. If you believe that the next rns will be poor (no licence and/or no production this year) then it’s worth waiting for a lower price. There is no evidence to suggest which it will be its pure speculation. I think the only certainty (if there is such a thing) is that there is oil there and it’s just a question of when. I have reduced my holding significantly since the risk of failure this year has increased for me. Whatever your decisions are, good luck
Formalities with no time scale has caused the price crash.
