WOS, It is your failure to engage with the source of the information that is exposed. Why not do so? What do you fear? Maybe hearing the truth? As I have said, if she proves me wrong I am more than happy to accept it. The problem seems to be your hiding from the truth. Readers of this bb will make their own minds up. If they are content to blindly soak up your diatribes and pass up an opportunity to confirm the true position here then so be it. One can lead a horse to water …..
Mr MON1
You say "it has been WIDELY circulated"
Post even just ONE link to this info if it is widely circulated.
Another one who get expose on BB?
Thank you
WOS I have given you the source. If you are afraid to engage because of what you might learn so be it. If you engage and are told that I am wrong then I will eat humble pie. It seems to me that you want to avoid asking the question. If so there is little more that I can do. Continue to peddle your “opinions” irrespective of how ignorant they may be. The choice is yours.
Mr MON1 put up quote / reference with source link please.
Otherwise you are part of misleading BB if you cannot do this. Thank you
WOS it is pointless me trying to answer your questions as you will simply come up with attempts to undermine what I have to say. Therefore I suggest that you address your question to the Vice Minister of Justice. She is the source of the information and NOT Bowley as you keep suggesting. If you want to challenge her then be my guest.
Be Wise & focus on INVESTMENT 🦉
Mr MON1 your post 6th Sept -
"It has been widely circulated that two MPs in the current parliament are obstructing the development of PMs project with the aim of securing BENEFITS from the project, which is unlikely to go ahead until their wish is realized"
If it has been widely circulated please tell us who this 2 MPs are?
Also how they will ask for BENEFITS without be accuse of bribery demand?
You know Mr MON1 but Central Govt / MRPAM / MMHI do not???
I never dld say I have INSIDER INFO - Mr Bowley DID!
This is difference between opinion & effort of DELIBERATE misleading.
Where did you get intel few month back of 2 people who want bribe? Mr Bowley who have already been exposed as fraud?
Think about what I say of MRPAM direct dealing with local Governor and what you say about this 2 mysterious people who only some BB poster know about.
WOS, it is very easy to discredit those whose predictions are wrong (Bowley) . This being the case you should look very closely in the mirror. I don’t recall many of your predictions being borne out and I am sure you wouldn’t wish to be considered a hypocrite by those reading this bb!
Agree mr Researchandhold. Mr Bowlsy have already been EXPOSE on this BB.
First his post to say from his INSIDER I FO that Cabinet will NOT approve Special Certifucation. What happen?
Very next day Cabinet DID approve it!
Then he say Mongolia President "steal all refinery money". This is with all independent audit AND India. Govt no mention of this & process continue
Mr Bowley cannot answer why his insider intel so wrong but he admit he have build up holding in MATD. Think everyone know just game here.
Back to main point in post 13:46 yesterday
MRPAM deal DIRECT with local govt. If local Governor ask official ask MRPAM for money to pass final signature he canlose job & go to prison.
Some people on BB say "2 people hold up process because they want bribe". Who are this 2 people? Where did this intel come from? Mr disgraced Bowley? Can see how BB can be manipulated when logic tell us just because corruption exist does not mean it hold up process here.
This is beauracracy process to make legal situation watertight. This is mr Buck words.
We are at final stage with herder compensation agreed and MRPAM direct involve in process & under highest status of National Importance Project.
Use logic not BB whisper 😏🦉
Oh the irony.
That the greatest of all 'Matadors' should become a barking dog.
Ironic too that for years you were ramping the legs off a company that was going nowhere and yet now they're on the cusp of a significant re-rate you're not invested.
Barking mad indeed.
Woof, Woof.
Oh my my my
The self proclaimed whistle blower and arbiters of commercial justice and shadowy political skulduggery is back in town .
As MON1, correctly identifies.
This is not about oil, licenses, Petro Matad or Mike Buck.
This is purely a Mongolian corruption issue that has engulfed Petro Matad.
What did Nusrat Ghani do when in Mongolia recently. Did she apply British diplomatic pressure so a British company and its shareholders can rightfully obtain licenses.
Will this matter be brought up at the next Mongolian/ British business forum on the 20th November in London.
The British government have to act now as British shareholders have suffered long enough.
WOS. This project WILL come good. There is no dispute over this. The only question is who will be the beneficiaries and will PIs derive benefit. If the corruption against MATD is not addressed (see Dozzawba post) then PIs will be the losers. The Government and country will still derive expected benefits but in place of (mainly non-Mongolian) PIs will be those looking through corruption to gain an interest. This will be a win-win for Mongolia. Your and other investor efforts will be best served highlighting the corruption to a point where the govt must take action (as with the removal of the UB Mayor) in the absence of this we (PIs) will all lose out.
Positive in several ways.
Partly a regional Govenor on the back foot.
But mainly the primacy of the Legal system and due process.
If you can rely on the Courts then your safe.
2024 The year of the Heron.
Mb didn't have any permit when he started drilling so he was in the wrong . Now he has paperwork signed by the cabinet so he should go straight to court and get this moving.
Once you were accusing MB for taking the locals to court and now accusing him he isn't!
Nothing better than negotiating works. Surely there are lots happening which we aren't aware, but I am certain that MB wants more than anybody here to get H operational as fast as possible. It will come in time. A bit of patience.
Is that Half a million pounds they got from the local government. Well well. Mr MB you have no excuse. Take the governor to court just like Magnai Trade and get compensation to make sure he doesn't play dirty games ever again.
Exactly the same situation as PM.
Magnai Trade Co. Ltd. sued for 2.5 billion MNT, claiming that it was damaged due to the failure to conduct drilling in the area of Choibalsan Sum.
In 2010, the company signed an agreement to share oil products in an area called Bayantumen 17, which covers 7 sums of our province.
In 2019, the governor of the province issued an order to vacate the land, considering that the company used the land without permission and placed a drilling tower, a large number of containers and equipment.
In accordance with the law, the dispute was reviewed by the court of first instance of the defendant's jurisdiction, the Eastern province, and the decision of the provincial governor was justified. The plaintiff filed an appeal and the dispute continued for 3-4 years.
Also, in the past, the land of the fuel distribution station, which was located on the main road after the Iveel quarter owned by the company, was also released, which was a decision for the public interest.
There's is hope if out man wakes up and follows footsteps of this company MAGNAI TRADE. They even got compensation out of the local government.
File the lawsuit and get some money back.
If anyone wants to know what happened with MAGNAI TRADE I will share. Same situation as PM. Same governor causing problems for mining companies
This is what PM need to do. They won local government lost. Exactly the same situation as PM. And the same Governor too.
MB needs to go and get advice from MAGNAI TRADE as he is clueless.
FROM THE MEETING OF CHOIBALSAN SUM...
The people of Sum are protesting the granting of a coal mining license in the vicinity of MINJIUR hot springs.
The permission to build a camp in the previous Soum Assembly was revoked.
Although it was issued by the authority of the governor of Dornod province, in addition, he made a double comment on the issue of Magnaytrade in Suman. As for MAGNAI TRADE, the governor of the province won as a plaintiff in the court of first instance, but the higher court of Khentii decided in favor of MAGNAI TRADE, and today he is sitting on a claim of 2.5 billion MNT. .
In any case, Khentii solves the problems of the East. There are mining companies like this.
I look at Mongolia media EVERY day. Corruption is AKWAYS mention like British people talk about weather. This is fact of life there.
This is why I keep say about Project of National Importance and now FUEL SHORTAGE.
Yes corruption in. Mongolia but maybe if you look at media you see how much Govt now push hard against this. Few week ago Mayor of Ulanbaatar have to go. Other one face trial.
This Cabinet are very focus to expose this. Corruption is not new so if Justice Minister mention this is no surprise.
This is Year Against Corruption because everyone have eye on this because of Coal theft issue.
Better to look at problem with ANALYSIS of economic, plotic, sector & legal
This is CABINET PASS Project of National Importance at time when Mongolia face FUEL SHORTAGE and where if permission deny then imprisonment can happen. This is like treason against National Importance project.
When MRPAM /MMHI have take over DIRECT dealing with local govt and same local governor ask for money he will straight away lose job / go on trial.
We are at FINAL stage so very important we look at full analysis not some rumour on BB.
Hope this help 🦉
A shame I can give you only one Rec Dozz.
Thanks for all your efforts on our behalf.
Dozzawba, thanks for the response. This is a difficult market where even the most seasoned and sophisticated can fall victim to corruption, sometimes originating at the most senior levels. To succeed in securing a positive outcome for PIs will require concerted and persistent efforts on the part of the British Embassy. My worry is that the policy of support for British Interests in the O&G sector can easily be interpreted (wrongly in my view given the circumstances) as requiring only minimal engagement by the Embassy. I fear that this may be the line being taken and as such resolution of this matter may not figure as highly in U.K. interests as the development of closer relationships with the Gov of Mongolia and in non O&G sectors. This will leave MATD severely exposed and potentially inadequately supported. I agree with you that ultimately this project will come good and have said so a number of times on this forum. The potential problem I see however is that PIs may well become marginalised if as has happened in many cases before in Mongolia, malevolent forces ( those you mention raised by the Deputy Justice Minister) rest control of the business or at least demand interest in the business as a condition of it moving forward. This may seem fanciful, but is common practice in Mongolia. If this is allowed to happen then PIs will undoubtedly miss out on the bounty that MATD success promises. Persistent pressure needs to be applied on the Embassy to secure a resolution and here in the UK, through contact with politicians and interests who expect the utmost support to be offered to British interests overseas.
