Thornogson, further to my posts, it has been difficult but I am still holding. For all that has happened over the last few years and from what I have learnt, I still believe this will come good for all us patient, suffering investors.
Mon1 and also forgot to say, corruption HAS been at play. Both Buck and the UK Ambassadors etc have denied this, but this was confirmed by the Deputy Justice Minister of the Mongolian government along with other corruption and amazingly she has now been sidelined. IMO good for us is that all high ranking officials in the UK government have been made aware of this, even though they will not confirm in writing/emails and they have denied there isn't evidence of this is because they wouldn't want to upset the GOM, but as said it's good for us as they are aware. I have pounded them with emails stating they are responsible for sorting this and also they are there to protect UK investors, so IMO they will have mentioned this alleged corruption to the GOM behind the scenes and as my previous post the meeting next week to placate the locals is a good thing for us investors. As said all in my opinion and hopes !!!
You may be right, you may be mistaken or you may be posting FUD?
Who knows.
The Mongolian mineral extraction industries are very important to them though.
This wouldn't be one man wielding the official approval stamp demanding an envelope though.
It's Cabinet level stuff, an agenda item, questions demanding to know what's going on.
I'm happy that the Mongolian Government are sincere in their plans for energy supply security and their view of Petro Matad's place in those plans.
I'm happy to hold.
Mon1 - have already done that, I emailed MB direct and he couldn't be bothered to email me back, but got his Admin email address to reply and stated they hadn't got any evidence of corruption happening. I emailed a reply and said as a long term shareholder with a lot of money invested I expected an answer if MB. What a surprise no reply to that. As in my other posts, I believe Buck has had his hands tied, but my personal belief is that he is an arrogant pratt who couldn't give a sh*t about his private investors, his communication skills are zero and for that reason I am not surprised he himself has not been able to sort this with the locals.
Thornogson, there certainly is much more to this than meets the eye. Corrupt practices are at play. If you doubt that this is the case write to Mike Buck and ask him to deny that he has been/is faced with corrupt practices holding up this project. I think you will be surprised by the answer if indeed you get one.
MATD/ MB will get sorted the last stage. It is already 4 months since SL secured.
Some posters are trying hard to create uncertainty, fear etc for their personal reasons.
MATD will come good fast. Rerate will follow asa the last step sorted.
It is WIN/WIN for all side mr Thorgasson sir.
Mongolia priority is to have independence in energy supply & fu3l shortage now show this.
China need energy supply. China & Mongolia berry close relationship.
DQE deal talk about OFFTAKE part.
Heron online production with full field development & Block XX extension help Mongolia with fuel supply I dependence AND China supply with offtake part of DQE deal.
This is why Mr Buck talk about all smooth dealing with Petro China on this matter.
Poster who try FUD maybe help if they research all this fact for better understanding of complete picture 🦉
I suspect that the Mongolian Government's general mindset at the moment, at a time of national fuel supply crisis, will be to keep as much control as possible over it's own reserves and supplies?
Petro Matad will be in the box seat having Mongolian 'roots' as it were.
I suspect
Also understand local govt now deal DIRECT with MRPAM / MMHI to get local signature complete so mr Mike Buck not directly involve so this is nonsense talk of replace mr Buck and progress will be made.
Progress is made, Herder agreement agreed, Cabinet approval under special status pass and now final stage local signature which CANNOT be deny by law.
FUD get expose by research of facts to focus on INVESTMENT 🦉
Very easy to accuse a poster of posting FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) Horsers but:
:Definately more to this than MB cares to share with us more mortals.)
Is about the ultimate example?
More subtlety please Horsers, no one likes to be treated like an idiot.
Horsers
This is where RESEARCH help mr Horse even if you probably do just insult as usual for me to say this.
First this discussion already have happen before so do not think will be great issue or problem to get over.
Second like mr Buck say "MRPAM on BOTH side of negotiation". This is because they have some legal right over land lease / use term.
He is in DIRECT contact with MRPAM & Petro China. BB poster is not.
BUT
Always say it is your money to invest how you want. Be happy for one who do & base on all factor which push in direction of final local signature & COMPANY MAKING RNS!
Focus on investment with ALL factors RESEARCH 🦉
Ojay I beg to differ . I see every reason why the LP won't be issued this year. 51 days until the end of the year btw.
Even with a LP issued there will be further obstacles that the inept MB will have to overcome. Dealing with the Chinese and DQE for one who quite frankly will have us over a barrell I'm afraid this has a lot further than to run yet and hence the current SP.
Couldn't agree more. A one trick pony for sure. False promises and excuses time after time. No transparency whatsoever . Definitely more to this than MB cares to share with us mortals.
This company needs a new management and this will start to go up. Someone doesn't have the knowledge of running a company effectively.
Look at GBP . Shares are up as soon as shareholders demanded the removal of company management. Shares are now on the uptrend.
5 years he couldn't solve a riddle . One well is what this company is revolving around.
Sooner this USELESS Management go the better.
Thornogson: Unfortunately, the SP would have had to rise quite a bit more to make up for yesterday's loss.
But as WOS and other posters mentioned repeatedly, the result of a single trading day (positive or negative) is irrelevant. Important is the overall development. The picture will get brighter and brighter as soon as the final permit is cast in iron - and I don't see any reason why that shouldn't happen this year.
ATB
It went up by about as much as it went down yesterday.
For no obvious reason one way or the other.
Market Makers have to feed their families too you know.
ICblue: 300k shares @2.7p is excellent - well done!
Looks like a pump and dump, no easy money in todays market.
The 1418hrs 300k transaction should show as a Buy - It's mine!
They're all sells and they're all buys.
Not sure what the obsession is.
AND THERE IS OTHERS TODAY
That looks like a sell to me ???
Looks like today, was the end of the downtrend..imo
3.4 mill trade,just there
One thing did cross my mind and wondering any people know actual answer.
What is the reliance of China on Mongolian oil or is just a small bit part in their overall energy program.
Petro China are being pulled over the coals by the MG now whether that is for show or for real i have no idea. But i suppose we will find out soon either from current meetings in Eastern Province where local dissatisfaction will voice itself and part of that voice could well be the mess that PC have caused and doing nothing or something about.
So if PC have license withdrawn and sold or given to PM (return for share or percentage of rights) what obligation or need do China have to take the oil being extracted now by PM and not by their company.
We end up dressed up for the night with no where to go until the pipeline comes and MG has no local oil being produced.
I think the PC exercise is purely to show a crack down to local people and not get followed through.
