Cybertron, think you'll find that the longer we go without news tends to be not beneficial to any of us, it's been the same since 2019 when we actually found oil. GLA
Calm down people, most likely money transferred, dornod guvnor has signed off but it has to be also signed between matd and the ministry responsible for handing the permit before matd can announce we have permit via RNS, so time wise about right with the pace of the Mongolian government,
It's taking time but it's happening, if there was any major delays or negative news then it would have to be rms
Like the saying no news is good news for now
Every Friday for nearly 5 years I feel optimistic that next week will be the positive news we are all waiting for. Only problem I am running out of years left to enjoy any profit.
Seems good news to me (if anything)
The adoption of these laws has a wide range of significance, such as improvement of the investment and business environment
We are simply paying the price if taking the governors backlash..
The only fast track way is via legal process..
Can you imagine... "sorry, Matad. We're changing all the laws so can't sign anything off just yet. But soon... like maybe 2026?"!
Paraphrasing this from master's previous post, In this context, we have developed and approved the law on the Exchange of Mining Products and are preparing for the revision of the Law on Minerals to be discussed by the Parliament/" is this another delay"? and if so how long before or after the elections will it be discussed in parliament if it is anything to do with MATAD🤔 GLA
this project is going nowhere unless those ******ing its progress either get what they want or are investigated and removed from the equation. unfortunately in mongolia the latter rarely happens.
Mining ministers post
We would like to wish all Mongolians who are going to welcome the new moon full of happiness and joy on the first day of the first lunar month of the spring of the 17th year of the 1760s wooden dragon year.
Our mineral resources sector, which is the guide and creator of wealth for the social and economic development of the country, last year accounted for 31.6 percent of Mongolia's general budget revenue, and the coal export reached a historic high.
Our industry, which aims to achieve world standards in transparent and responsible mining, currently accounts for 27 percent of the total domestic product, 71 percent of production, 78 percent of foreign direct investment, and 92 percent of export earnings.
The Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry defines its industry policy based on the global trends, demand and needs of raw materials, sets the goal of improving the relevant laws and legal environment, increases investment, intensifies domestic mining and processing, and produces value-added final products for foreign markets. working in accordance with the principle of open and transparent sale.
In this context, we have developed and approved the Law on the Exchange of Mining Products and are preparing for the revision of the Law on Minerals to be discussed by the Parliament. The adoption of these laws has a wide range of significance, such as equal access to mining resources for every citizen, improvement of the investment and business environment, increase in the value of mining products, and the development of other sectors of the economy as a result.
On the eve of the New Year, there is good news that the price of widely used gasoline and diesel fuel has been reduced by 300-400₮ per liter.
Happy New Year to our veterans who have selflessly dedicated their knowledge, talent, hard work and heart to the historical development of the industry, and to all colleagues in the industry who are currently working.
Happy New Year's Day
Dear people
It's a new month
Please update.
J. Ganbaatar
Member of the Great Khural of Mongolia,
Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry
Every time it breaches 4p it gets battered down again. It has to be way above double that before i am out of the red. So come on MATD. You have taken long enough. Get the news out. Get it to 50p so we can start enjoying life a bit.
Another week goes by and still no news and the share falls. On the positive side it is a week nearer to we get news and when it comes this share will rocket. It is at times like this that I would not want to be out of the market in this share
BP, that sums it all!
Mr WOS say header say it all, Mr 33, Sir .. And Mr WOS, I expect, not like the 'Yet' added to your 'no reason to panic' header, Sir!
Also as Mr WOS likely out 'buying shoe(s)' this afternoon.. I do sneaky sneaky push back here on his post that matd.l is not for trader/gamblers but for longterm serious investor, Sir...
Au contraire, this share a traders dream.. as witnessed by the likes of me range trading it - well - for many years now..
Also all longterm serious Investing I do has nothing to do with AIM as a rule.. because AIM is a casino that's for gamblers playing far more than serious investors
3p Incoming, Sirs?
IMHO & DYOR
Just the spring compressing, when the clamp comes of those that are in will be up bigtime and those that are out will be down.
In fairness, the last RNS stated clearly that there were several stages still to be concluded, including the land contract. It's been 52 days now since that last RNS - so I personally don't think that in Mongolian terms it's been an inordinate amount of time so far. I am guessing that the next RNS will only land when all of those stages are completed ie the receipt of the funds by the District, the Governor's signature, the issuing of the special permit to MMHI and the signing of the land contract. Mongolian bureaucracy was never going to allow that lot to happen quickly.
People are jumpy because the share price is doing what it has always done - move around within the trading range of support and resistance, with volume low at the moment. With so few shares in circulation, which can quickly create a severe supply imbalance, the share price can obviously move upwards extremely quickly on high volume.
Stick to your golf!!
This is becoming like the spiral of death all over again haha

//Surely MG understand and appreciate that//
I think MG expect UK investors to keep pumping cash into PM in the faint hope they may someday get a return!
Someone on here was going to sell 2m shares today. Hoping for a bargain buy today.
Similar trading today like yesterday. Decent buys in the morning, chance for a bounce and then the sells come from smaller to medium amounts no matter the price, normally I would say it looks like institutional investor set on selling out, but I don't think we have any active ones in MATD?
Aeschylus - very fair point re national importance vs urgent.
I think I've been brainwashed by WOS, who always bangs on about national importance and why we'll get the green light 6 months ago!
Where are we up to?
We were told "soon". (Although we were also told "1-3 months" back end of 2022).
Where the funds were and how much didn't really seem to matter as the deal appeared imminent, but nearly two months on and no news it starts to matter!
We know we are funded up to July. We know there was some left over from the fund raise last year, but we don't know how much the compensation funds from our own accounts are or if they are attracting interest.
Be good to know! We are due an AGM rns, so maybe an update then.
The main question is why is PM taken on a ride.
There has to be more to the story than the local governor holding the LP Up.
MB needs to come clean to the share holders.
5 years is very long time.. other companies have come after PM and found gas and have started producing...
The real problem is with MB
.
Lots of unanswered but legitimate questions. How much of our funds and where is it currently?
Important v urgent.
Doc. Heron IS of national importance, as the oil is primarily intended for the refinery for national use. Its just not urgent as the refinery is not built.
So, is it of national importance? Yes
Is it Urgent? No
Researchandhold said //BP is like a stain on humanity//
And HOW MUCH IS IT in total?
