Thx Bowley - I just don't understand what your point is.
Ojay.
Far from venting I am trying to remain balanced based upon all the facts and information available.
I presently feel our collective performance over the last few months has been a little under par. Change and Covid I am happy to take into account and recognise Covid especially is a factor Matad do not control.
However 2022 must demonstrate progress or else we will be drawing down on the raise and not showing any meaningful progress.
He doesn't fit or have the brains to be a successful trader. He just became addicted to the PM and sees his salvation in it. I sincerely wish and hope such addiction would not turn into the losses of his investments. But while such an absolutely insignificant and rogue CEO is at the helm, the result of his activities can be a negative only. The facts themselves convincingly show that he achieved practically nothing significant in all his work from the first to the present day. And the success at Heron is not at all his merit, but the result of an accidental and happy neighborhood with Petro China
Too much blah blah blah on this board, not enough reasoned debate about MATD.
Rampers
Derampers
Embittered crybabies
We have them all. A few genuine investors as well
Hmmm to me balanced analysis is objective and impartial; weighing up ALL the facts, be it good OR bad, without any personal interest and just letting the evidence speak without adding emotional content
As opposed to you, Hamm and other complices his only motive is Fair Analysis. I know you hate that but that's the way it is.
Love it or leave it.
Fair analyst is my Father , I trust I’m with my life
// No-one could put that much effort in for no reason at all.//
Hamm doesn't put in nearly as much effort as Fair Analyst - what are his motives?
Having read messages to and fro since RNS, I have decided, almost entirely on the strength of Hamm’s very very negative and constant posts that I should definitely buy more stock. No-one could put that much effort in for no reason at all. So my thanks and appreciation to Hamm. Or ‘enjoy the free fall ‘ as we like to refer to him as.
Hamm: It appears that reading and understanding is not one of your strengths.
But keep it up - I hope your fake news posts make you feel better.
Have a great sunny day!
Ojay is a trader. It is very clear. While encouraging others to buy they themselves selling!
In Ojay never trust.
Enjoy the free fall.
Guys,
"Actively trading it"? b/p: Always attempting to locate weak spots eh? Sorry can't oblige.
My "active trading" (as you call it) took place ONCE during 12 years of share holding. In the meantime I am up to almost the same holding as before. I suggest you concentrate on your own investment strategy (should you have one) and stop making others responsible for your faulty investment decisions.
Ojay //I can confirm NOT HAVING LOST a penny with PM - quite to the contrary: I have made a LARGE AMOUNT OF PROFIT with PM.//
In that case you must have been actively trading it - so not really a LTH in the true sense.
Bowley: I am not critizing "balanced and factual views". Those are all fine and dandy.
At the end of the day we investors are here to make a profit. In order to do so you need to understand the rules governing the market place.
If your investment strategy results in a loss (or a temporary SP downturn) it doesn't seem appropriate or fair to make others responsible.
As an investor you (should) know that you have zero influence on operational issues (thank god!). Being a LTH gives you a lot more time to decide when you chose to sell. Venting your investment frustration on this BB doesn't make things better.
Re Jimi's post.
This is an excellent development by central government. The activists appear to be attempting to put fears into the locals, by suggesting that sneaky and underhand tactics are being used to deprive them of their lands and wealth, so the more open and transparent and accountable the processes, the more engagement trust and "buy in" from local stakeholders.... plus we PIs might have more if a clue wtf is going on!
The event aims to strengthen stakeholders' understanding of open data and good practices for using open data to help raise awareness of the impact of mining activities at the local level, and the need for community outreach on mining revenue management and social and environmental impacts.
I think Master82 has established the progress we should expect and have been led to believe would be delivered by Matad has, or is, failing to materialize.
I think that’s a very balanced and factual view.
Just because people have not lost money or been impacted does not relieve the Matad board of its duties to meet its deliverables for 2022.
I accept change is always a factor and that can delay aspects of our project, but constant failure which impacts the investment case by years is not acceptable.
master82 "WE are all down on our investment due to bad management" (yesterday @22.32).
I can confirm NOT HAVING LOST a penny with PM - quite to the contrary: I have made a LARGE AMOUNT OF PROFIT with PM. So why do master28 and his complices keep complaining? Beats me, but I don't buy the "Mother Theresa" bit (just want to warn new investors - as if they needed your warning!).
I honestly believe that I will be making a lot more profit going forward and urge anyone who believes it is not possible or will take much too long: TO EXIT THEIR PM INVESTMENT - the sooner the better.
Mining and Communities: Confidence Building Data” will be held
2 hours 28 minutes
The Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and the International Finance Corporation's Transparency for Development Program jointly organized a multi-stakeholder meeting on “Mining and Community: Confidence-Building Data” at the Shangri-La Hotel on May 13. It will be held at 10 o'clock.
The event aims to strengthen stakeholders' understanding of open data and good practices for using open data to help raise awareness of the impact of mining activities at the local level, and the need for community outreach on mining revenue management and social and environmental impacts. In order to intensify the discussion, confirm the results, and provide information and feedback on the methodological and technical meetings to prioritize the data components that need to be made transparent in an open data format as a matter of priority in cooperation between IFC and MINE .
The Government of Mongolia aims to increase the competitiveness of the mining sector by intensifying geological and exploration work and developing infrastructure, and to develop transparent and accountable mining. Increasing access to information and building trust at the local level is an important component in the successful implementation of long-term and medium-term government policies .
The International Finance Corporation's Transparency for Development Program has been working with a wide range of stakeholders since 2019 to improve the current practice of disclosing mining information and making it transparent in an open data format . The purpose of the X program is to facilitate the processing and dissemination of information at the local level, and to make it easier to obtain and use relevant information .
It took almost 2 years to get EL . I wonder how long it will take to get this land Access certificate.
Personally I would not throw any money at this until land issue is sorted and rig is available.
You guys can sing about PM all you want but the reality is that we are nowhere near putting oil well on production.
We have all been stung here for now due to management .
They have a huge gap in the year where they hibernate and don't do jack and still get paid .
I'm holding and have for the past 4 years. However, I agree, it is poor and the whole process is so slow.
Always seems to be jam tomorrow..
Iam rich.
Read my post . Lots of people emailed and hence we got a response.
There was nothing new in that RNS besides the delay news.
How long has PM been negotiating with drilling contractor.
I think the real problem here is the land issue which still needs to be resolved . Government might be supporting but has not signed off documents to provide the local governor.
Until we get that paperwork we can't really do much.
Price is where it is due to delay and why such a great time to buy in and be in as when China opens the doors so will the share price reflect and things will happen immediately, this is not a major problem just a matter of time issue,
Master well-done for you email weeks ago lol I'm sure Mike buck sent a big RNS just for you
With last year's placing and this latest lacklustre RNS it's hard to keep believing there's any value here.
("You'd be mad to sell at 4.5p" - then it drops 30%. A lot you know!)
How come a 2 week workover is too difficult for management to find any contractors is beyond me.
BTW MATD has been in advance talking for farm out/joint venture for years!
Any way placing has been done fast and cheap so MATD becomes independent! Why do we need any partners anymore?
All rubbish excuses I am afraid.
Enjoy the free fall to 2p.
Guys,
Gold mine me too. My two biggest holdings are here and TXP was hoping they both come good this year so I can retire. Gl
