that ones not happy with this private placement now morphing into stories of dusters???? lololozzzzz so funny! ignore if you like, cry if you like...wont change anything whatsoever....also ones bragging about how they are going to dump most of their holdings on spud news run up.......not anymore....hehehehe hold like the rest of us or go away.
Agree with the 10p. Likely lower than placing the weeks following. The monies raised might be used to help persuade the relevant people. Watching with interest.
Spainish....I tend to agree with your synopsis as I have held MATD for a number of years and seen the highs & lows along the way. What I would add though is this story has recently become more compelling as real progress is being made to execute a speculative drill program (at least this is what they tell us). Regarding Snow leopard being dry.....I too would expect some prospects to come up dry in what is a highly speculative acreage however, this is the risk the company is taking - as well as investors. Remember there are still other prospects to fuel the appetite of existing & new investors which may lead to a further inflation in the SP along the way... Ultimately though it depends on each investors strategy...Are you looking to hold Long term / medium term or short term and if so what is your risk reward threshold. All I can say is good luck to everyone
the weekend watch a documentary titled 'the China hustle', delves into Chinese companies rto's to gain access to American markets. Short sellers investigate some of these firms to find a 'mismatch' between what's alluded to and what exists. So, is Mongolia same same different? I hold, but cautious
Two things are important: one this is large virgin territory which does contain oil (just a question of how much and whether they have the right positions lined up) and two they are getting on with it .... this has to be two positives that will out
Placing new shares???
Part II. Honestly guys who do you believe the privileged few are that have acquired shares recently and made significant cash in a matter of weeks? I think most of us need to wake up and understand what the Matad vehicle is and who it serves. Matad is a life style company created for the fortunate few. The golden tough this creates is constantly full of Matad’s closest and dearest eagerly waiting to get their next feed. The story and the strategy of Matad will continue to change, but not to suit you guys, but to suit the chosen few. I am not seeing 16p, 18p, or north of 20p as all expected. I do believe 10p may be an expectation that may not be too far from the truth over the coming weeks. Then the story will start all over again, so the chosen few can once again feed at the golden tough, in the knowledge, all is well. This is Mongolia, and before we all start jumping up and down, saying what do I know, I know how Mongolia works, and gentleman, in a nutshell, what you are experiencing is a story, that is unlikely to have a happy ending. I expect Snow Leopard to come up dry, but that’s all good as Wild Horse will keep us all interested for the rest of the year. Block XX will produce, I am sure, but only enough to sustain Matads working capital needs and the ongoing operating costs of the salaries required for it’s significantly over paid board of directors. And of course after very wisely reviewing 3D which was the smart thing to do for Falcon, it has indicated Falcon probably is a duster as well. The new CEO invested 200K of this own cash I see you guys elude too. In the oil and gas or mining sectors it’s very common for senior board members and executives to receive signing on benefits. The individual then invests in his new business and puts this out to the market to demonstrate he has confidence and commitment in the business he now leads, when in fact it’s just a smoke screen to fool investors. It may look like this own cash, but infact it may be the groups to create a positive spin and good news. All very common. Oh and before you ask, am I invested, the answer is yes. However why at the moment is a question I simply cannot answer. Comments on a postcard!!
I have watched with interest over the last 8 weeks where most on this board with an opinion have suggested the share price will head too and when. Most, if not all of you are now about as far behind the 8 ball as is possible to get in terms of understanding Matads really objectives. Few of you understand Mongolia. Few of you understand the politics, how things work here, and the levels of corruption in this country. I hear people speaking about permits and that everything will be OK. How many of you understand the engineering process and how that interfaces with the State Professional Expertise Agency for approval. How many of you really understand the immigration process, especially in regard to foreign nations. What are the expectations of NEMA, and of course can you rely on the process and people part of it? I am going to take a guess here, all will believe they understand the process, and how things work in Mongolia, but none will have any experience. The continued news of schedule slippage for this years proposed activities is very clear evidence the management have a very poor understanding of key deliverable's, and how these should be plugged into a level 1-3 schedule. Fundamental to any schedule is your resource histogram. No resource generally means no progress. For Matad to fundamentally not understand the importance of managing the immigration process, with the Mongolian immigration office to ensure this did not impact schedule was at best pathetic. Simply put, people we choose to trust with our investment do not understand schedule, deliverable's, and how this may impact cost and share price. If they did, why would they let such a simple key deliverable push their proposed schedule back significantly in what is a very short summer period, where these activities need to take place. Moving onto SP and yesterday’s RNS. If we collectively believe that was a good RNS and in the interests of the true investors on this board, we are fooling ourselves. Once again confidence in Matad has been eroded by poor communication, relating to a consistent change of strategy. Before we all start jumping up and down, yes I have worked in the oil industry for the last 20 years. Yes I have probably flown in more choppers offshore than most on this board will see in ten life times, and yes I generally understand emerging markets, having worked in them for the last 15 years. From all of the ex CIS during the early days of the Caspian developments, Libya, Tunisia, all of the Middle East, and not forgetting Trinidad when BP acquired the Amoco assets, I think I have a relatively decent spread of experience. Not of course forgetting, 5 years in Mongolia. Part II to follow.
awesome! I fully expect those shares to be bought up pre drill
and of course Bucc!!
hey...you forgot me...lol!
Morning all - interesting move. "On completion the Company will be fully funded to drill six wells in five risk independent basins, targeting c.850MMbo of prospective resources over the next 12 months" To me not bad - overall we have increased the possible/potential we are going after. Yes the share price should drop from 12.85P down to 10.34P a share. However if you look at the EMV and share price if the current 480 + 90 + 20 come in you still end up around 80.5P a share which is an increase in the share price estimated earlier (was 76P and is now 80.5P) SO yes a pity they did not offer shares to existing share holder via a rights issue or similar but at the end of the day - what has changed? 1) We are now funded to end of 2019 2) The share price should drop to around 10.3P 3) "Permitting and civil works for the Snow Leopard well are now complete. Sinopec, the rig operator, has commenced mobilisation of the rig to site and the Company expects to spud the well in July 2018" 4) At least the maintenance crew from Sinopec must be on suite with Visas and arguably the Drilling Suptd/Drilling Engineer. So to me a change of tack but one that could save us cash later as I suspect the rig contract had an extension clause in it that needed cash to implement. This will mean a lower price for drilling in 2019. So not all bad. All IMO but DYOR. GLA all - Paul, OJ, D1nger, Mr P, Mikey, Ham, Loz and everyone.
um....ok...so when they hit oil the share price will tank?? when does dilution start??
you consider it bad? I think its good news!
Dillution again....Confusing CR timing imo...why not wait till spud and SP 20p+ ???...dilution of 65mill shares better than 127 imo...or is it so BoDs and mates get in cheap before the run....l suppose it may be more enticing to investors to buy in just before expected this run to ensure cash comes in...the Co seems to have developed a 'habit' of 'giving' shares away to those connected....
I thought today was the last chance of the very last chance to buy matadger at 13p .only if you listened to the conmen working this board .the bod of matd played a blinder with another placing and two new drills .fox prospect and no I deer the other.mr p will tell you this is great news.
Matd has screwed us investors, put roses and what ever you want to make matd look good, but the simple truth is this come July or this year matd will only manage two drills if even THAT!, the visa issue was a pathetic smoke screen to delay drilling only they know why, more shares in issue,I hold a lot in matd, I invested because of research and what matd told us, when I invested we had 300 or so million shares, with this new placing we should be nearer 700 million shares, only place this share is going and its down, its time to get out of a company that screws its investors!!!!!!
Should give us a solid base around the 10p mark! Good job I've got a 7.5p average! Gla
with about 2 Billion shares in issue. MATD Mcap is peanuts vs 850 MMBO prospective resource (Mid-case).
If 40% of the 127m is taken up by Petrovis & MATD management to maintain their current holdings, then there will only be c.75m shares available to II, which ain't a lot.
In that scenario their 50 bbls a day ain't gonna save 'em .
Also Aaog have no plan B. If it's a duster it's on its aass. No problem for the placees who are already 25% up from their crooked 8p buy in and will be long gone before the result. Here we are looking at 6 wells funded.
Misterpostive, your knowledge of aaog is limited. Also sp doesn’t matter it’s the mcap which is important. Good luck tomorrow
Firstly it is 127m shares. MATD senior management (own 5.6%) and other Directors (Petrovis c.35% ) wanting to participate in this fundraise. Should get more clarity after 'Accelerated book building' is concluded...RNS tomorrow most likely. Petrovis might take 35% of the new shares, to maintain their overall Holdings % without diluting their current holding, along with 5.6% currently owned by senior management. That would leave only c.60% of the 127m with institutional investors. IMHO.
What are neighbouring blocks /wells pumping per day ?
