Might be worth posting polite stuff on here as well - anything to help our cause.
Looks like this year a waste. Mb can't even get time frame right for equipment delivery.
Everyone taken for a ride.
Bluechipz - me too average 4.3p and holding . This will have its big re-rate one day!
Wish it was 2.6p for me, that's a great average.
My SP average is 4.7p, but I'm still holding and will continue to do so.
Hopefully we'll get some news soon.
Rhetoric question.
//So why build a refinery if your not going to use the oil on your own land ?//
They will use their own oil & 2025 is when PM will probably start pumping!
Oh well we've seen this before - nothing to worry about (if you're not a chicken). If your SP average is @2.65p (like mine) or even higher I guess its time to load up.

It is expected to be completed by 2025 and Engineers India Limited are part of the project. The refinery will address 75 percent of Mongolia's requirements. The country will source its fossil fuel from local resources.
So why build a refinery if your not going to use the oil on your own land ?

The comments on the facebook thread are entertaining. Something has rattled their cages.

Plenty of time to get temp permit and kick the show off, they can get proper permits later on, let's see what MB pulls out the hat surely he hasn't order kit and men for no reason,
"The Canadians, who were interested in the 20th oil field from Matad Sum, are about to leave"
I suspect this means something more like "The Canadians, who were interested in the 20th oil field from Matad Sum, are about to set off/ get going ....?
This translated from the 2 official forms from the activists page best I could do.Citizens in their local administration participation ezidntut 31 items Electoral citizens have the right to express their opinions and wishes by voluntarily cooperating in order to discuss and make recommendations on the problems of Sum and Team. "The Canadians, who were interested in the 20th oil field from Matad Sum, are about to leave"
It is a great news, Dozzawba. But unfortunately only applies to Canadians, and not to the British or other investors of Matad. Our scoundrel CEO is so supported by the Mongolian government that he will die but never allow such ingratitude towards them. Who entrusted him with such an important mission - to fool investors, live a luxurious parasitic life at our expense in Singapore and travel around the world.
I have posted a comment on thatbpost of hers asking here where she gets Canadians from. Might be worth a few more on here posted against her comments and questioning her. Even if it means a few locals read it, it could help. Hamid posted some good comments on there
See link she has posted today. Can't make out what she is saying but she's not happy which might be good for us

Jimi, thanks for the link. If anyone has time please follow the link there are a couple articles regarding oil/ matd. There is space for comments. Please leave comment asking MG to push for SL. If you right click and use Google translater then you can read the lot in english. It worth trying. Comments may help.
Guys,
@Jimi,
Nice find ... maybe it would be a good idea to contact the journalist and get his personal (unembellished) opinion on the whole polemic. Maybe he also knows more about our special PM situation.

Mining Association of Mongolia (MNMA) , emphasized in an interview in this issue of MMJ magazine that "the people of the mineral resources sector can attract foreign investors if they reach an understanding ." He spoke openly about the history of Mongolia's geological and mining industry investments and what problems are being solved in the future. Journalist Z. Tselmeg said that it is unfortunate that the issue of special permits in the field of exploration, which is the main field of foreign investors, has been solved by political decisions, laws and regulations, but for some reason, the local people are still controlling the development of geological exploration."The fate of exploration is decided by the law, not the herdsmen," he said in the article. This article shows that there is still such a problem in the industry that should attract investment
Nationalization wouldn't help anyone, it will ruin MG reputation! Wouldn't makes any difference for environment and definitely not helping the locals. On the other hand MATD oil production would give MG revenue, good reputation, it would help the locals tremendously. My bet is this however may take a bit longer than expected it would come good. I am still hoping we get the results this year. I think the share price shows resilient and would improve in the coming weeks/months and any good news will make it seriously higher.
Enjoy the ride guys,
Agreed Hamm.
Whilst I find it concerning that PSA contracts and licences are granted with revocation rights, particularly in the context of the wide scale local hostility to us, coupled with cynical and pandering "populist" politicians .... HOWEVER surely the reputational damage to Mongolia in the international business arena would severely disincentivise foreign investors doing business in Mongolia? .. so on balance I dont believe that the senior politicians' interests lay in stitching us up.
