I found this an encouraging read

Glad I wasn't the only one Suedee5
I've been waiting patiently for September, I also picked up on the hint ABB/FIA may confirm Cape Town before the official calender release in October, would be nice if it drops alongside other news
Dasalus, I saw presentation the same way as you’ve explained, so I’m happy to wait patiently till September, if news drops before then a bonus.
Seems sentiment is a bit low at the moment.
Funny, the comment DC made at the start of the Presentation about August went completely over my head.
I've not bothered coming on here as I thought DC made clear in the presentation was that he would be in Korea until early September, and all the info we're all waiting will be released Early/Mid September.
Analyst Report
Interim Report
Further KP dates
etc etc
I never expected anything in August, but now I've watched it back, it seems to me DC gave contradicting info. If you watched the whole thing it becomes clear he should not have even mentioned August.
Anyhow, I'm still up beat and waiting for the flood of good news through September.
No harm done Bannster, I totally understand, we are all very frustrated with the present situation but I have to believe in the company going forward, otherwise what’s the point of me being invested, I try to see things in a positive why rather than negative, at the same time I do understand people anger and frustration, we’ll the ones that are invested anyway.
Fair play Suedee5.
It was this bit I thought might be aimed at some of us:
"I appreciate that DC should have done something differently but to ridicule him on everything is pathetic".
But I know you're a genuine LTH and we all want to see this thing be a success. I can't help being critical because the whole KPOP thing and then the Startart shuffle have really damaged sentiment in my opinion.
I am at a low ebb with the whole LVCG story. This really has the potential to grow, but at the moment I am questioning what I have a "share" in.
Bannster, I apologise if you feel I look down on other posters, if you read my original post, I said, “ I get more frustrated with some peoples comments on this and Advin board, that are not even interested in the company, than I do with DC”.
I do agree with you that it is very frustrating, as I believe the company as so much to offer going forward.
Knigel, I agree people must be selling at a lose now.
Hopefully news soon.
Some of it (we can debate how much) is general market sentiment and the fact August is an quiet month - most of my small cap shares are still near yearly lows.. not excusing the fact DC hasn’t helped the situation with promises of news at set dates which don’t materialise - I am prepared to see if news flow improves in September and the interims show improvement before perhaps being as negative as some others here - but anyone selling now cannot be doing so at a profit!!
and yet a never ending stream of shareholders are prepared to jettison at 3.5p Suedee5.
It's understandable you and others bigging up our investment, defending the Chairman and being optimistic, but we also have to be able to explain the share price and the trades.
There are many voting with their cash right now and we have to face into why. Many of us are very disillusioned with the behaviour, the unfounded hype, the broken promises and the syphoning off of revenue the minute anything looks positive.
By all means post good info, by all means keep the faith, but you can't look down on others for being angry and disillusioned right now.
Noticed lvcg announcing on twitter, formula E coming soon, all seems very positive.
No date been given for next investors presentation as far as I’m aware, DC apologised at last one and said he would do them every 4-5 weeks, so would expect sometime early September.
Do we have a date for the next investor presentation or is it planned for at the time of the interim results due next month?
They say 'no news is good news' but in a shareholders life no news is a worry, especially when the bearer of that news is the CEO born of false promises. One argument put forward is 'we don’t know the circumstances, sometimes it’s out of peoples control' but this doesn't stop an update being given, even just to say details are delayed' to put shareholders minds at rest. I don't see lessons being learned only history repeating itself.
I appreciate what your saying Jimmy-stocks but we don’t know the circumstances, sometimes it’s out of peoples control, however, hopefully he will learn a lesson from it in future.
Hopefully we will get RNS next week.
For context, the investor presentation was 28th July where he said 'mid august if not earlier'. It wasn't like he was projecting well into the future. Basic error that shareholders should be calling out IMO.
And I still have confidence aswell and think this share offers great risk/reward from these levels BUT...he needs to start following through on what he says OR....don't say it in the first place if there is a risk if you can't deliver, simple.
Saying its ok because other AIM CEO's do it, is not a benchmark that is going to improve sentiment or improve the mismatch in valuation vs the assets and future prospects.
Forgot to add, formula E looking very positive for next year, thanks to everyone that posts info, much appreciated.
I get more frustrated with some comments I read on this board and advin board by people that are not even invested than I do with DC, I appreciate that DC should have done something differently but to ridicule him on everything is pathetic, ok we haven’t received info mid august or earlier as he suggested but haho how many companies do you know or invest in that deliver info on time. Some people need to grow up or move on. I still have every confidence in lvcg going forward and will continue to add on dips.
Exactly John, seems to be a massive amount of planning being done for this event that’s apparently been cancelled. In keeping with the flip flopping positions, those claiming that it’s cancelled flip flop straight into the “even if it does go ahead there’s insufficient time to plan”. Yet the planning for this has been 2 years in the making, the roads for the circuit are being improved (at cost to the city of Cape Town), partners are in place and the efest, golf and sustainability conferences are being prepared. Sure the final confirmation that it’s formally in the FE Calendar has still to be made, but saying it’s actually cancelled is market abuse no more no less.

For an event which many trolls say just isn’t going to happen there seems to be an awful lot of preparation and work going on!!!
