James roo, I divorced my wife n she died eight years later. Great marriage until eldest son died as happens we had difficulty accepting etc. 30 years of bliss, all in one package, but still single, content with Biscuits being the boss of term her house. Glad your settled JR I've always thought of you as a seaman, now ashore but still missing the life on the high seas.
Caught up with your humour re: Deutsche Bank that I reversed to your become duration etc. As for the leave vote, PM B Johnson will take UK out of the EU but as close to T Mays withdrawal deal n without the backstop, n with the £39 Billion.
What happened to the "Nothing's changed until the deal is done" next show is a General Election and a last chance saloon to vote LEAVE, as they should've done, costing the UK billions and loss of integrity, dress it anyway or delete this, it changes nothing. But an X vote will. Keep posting JR, EUing, your almost a carbon copy of him I'm probably older than EU. :~) :~( woof woof.
Jamesroo, I was a'bed before 12pm on my wedding night (also local) and if I'd spent the night dancing ? away, a divorce would've follow, instead of lasting 39 years. Maybe the women and the police were more understanding in Your day. :¢( :~)
You'd ha'been de balled if married to my Mrs. LOL. ERMM
Mrs Newchurch I have been bailed on several occasions, in varying Countries and probably for my own good.I was always treated with courtesy and i now have some cracking memories which I wear as a badge of honour. I hasten to add the occasions were over 40 years ago,due to the Police being more tolerant in recent time.
LOL. The older I get, the worse I get. It must be something to do with cramming as much life in the short time we all have on God's earth. Just sat daown after going through the camping gear for Callander when I do my second marathon walk, the Rob Roy Way for Macmillan Nurses. The third walk of the year (making 65 charity miles for my 65 year old frame) will be Jocks Road. After a bit of a struggle I am looking at two local charities, one is the Street Angels and the other is an Under 18 group who try to prevent bullying and abuse among young people. Decisions, decisions.
Turmeric can interfere with too many prescription drugs and does nothing a good Cognac XO or an indeed Single Malt will. This advice comes from a OAP who arrived home this morning at 8 am., after dancing all night at a local wedding.I like to think i am calming down. Never, lol.
1. Turmeric/curcumin The turmeric root has been shown to have great anti-inflammatory properties and many people add turmeric powder to sauces, smoothies, or tea. But curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, only makes up about 3% of it, so experts often suggest that people take curcumin supplements in order to get an effective amount. Look for curcumin supplements of 200 to 1,000 mg.
See Turmeric and Curcumin for Arthritis
2. Ginger Another root with anti-inflammatory properties, ginger is popular both as a supplement (look for 100 to 225 mg capsules) and in fresh grated form. But those who take blood-thinning medications should avoid ginger, because they interact with each other.
See Add Ginger to Help Arthritis Pain
3. Fish oil (omega-3 fatty acids) Food that contains omega-3 fatty acids, particularly fatty fish like salmon and mackerel, have fantastic anti-inflammatory properties. If you don’t like fish, the good news is that you can get the benefits of omega-3s by taking a fish oil supplement.
See The Difference Between Omega-3 and Omega-6 and Knee Arthritis Pain
4. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate The previous 3 entries on this list all help those with arthritis by fighting inflammation, but glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate supplements promote cartilage formation and repair. The research confirming the beneficial effects of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate is very mixed, so experts recommend that people stop taking them after 6 months if there’s been no sign of improvement in their symptoms.
Oxo42, are you aware that the sting from nettles is good for your arthritis? No well out you go and have a roll around in the buff in your nearest nettle patch, don’t worry about the neighbours as you statement to the police will have homeopathic medicinal treatment as the heading.
Oxo talking to plants makes perfect sense. You breath out 40000 ppm co2 with every breath. Go to a greenhouse with a co2 measurer you'll find the plants have reduced co2 to around 200ppm as they photosynthesise by date end. Go to a lecture hall at a university and you'll observe co2 at 1000ppm because it's full of ppl breathing out co2 with no plants. Plants and humans (animals) are part of a symbiot system where one feeds the other. The lack of awareness about co2 is staggering, it's a very weak green house gas and anyway water vapour makes up between 75% and 90% of greenhouse gas depending on what scientist you talk to. This perverse notion that co2 "forces" water vapour to cause run away global warming is utter nonsense.
snige, How is it that stingy nettles don't sting after you've cut or snapped them off. You'd think being removed from remaining rooted, that's when they'd sting you.? erm. amazing. isn't it.???? Put cat out lad.
BoomerBower, Prince Charles was ridiculed for talking to his tomatoes n plants. When s scientists tested this, Prince Charles had the last laugh. Breathing while talking to 'them' feeds them, giving better, stronger and more productive fruit than erm "ignored" plants. 1-0 to boomer ! Boomer, your alias comes as mangled, sacked my Secretary again. Switched from Windows 7 to 10 today, (free) took 3 hours, whilst I was out with Biscuits. Few adjustments, fine. As Windows 7/8 will be unsupported by Microsoft come January 2020.
Snige how did plants learn how to convert co2 and water in to oxygen and glucose? They are far smarter than humans I find. Co2 religion will be the greatest mass delusion ever, the funniest bit is the water vapour denial. 75% of green house gases are water vapour, oh and the models don't handle clouds. Not like cloud affect climate though is it?? Al Gore says all is well with the theory lol.
Just been outside to study (at a safe distance) that fusion bomb in the sky,how did those scientist come up with the right amount of heat and gravity to control the chain reaction. They must have been pretty switched on and how did they get the dimensions of the moon to just cover the sun in a solar eclipse Boomer.
