I have started to remove all my money from lloyds ,they and the government have stolen my dividend so l am dammed sure they are not going to make money from my money when paying next to nothing in interest. I voted for Boris but never again they are robbing Peter to pay Paul.
I take it from your reply your also a communist and Corbyn fan, no problem Mr Starmer will continue to make sure the Labour Party will have no say in the running of the country for many decades, stay lucky :-)).
Bronco, thanks for showing that the misery that has beset the world pales compared to your ideology and self delusion.Hard to think how you could make yourself look more stupid. But the past shows you will manage it somehow. You have made me remember how lucky most here are having fully developed mentally compared to yourself.
Hang in there and stay well,I know you are harmless.lol.
Maybe we should be thankful Roo, imagine if the UK electorate had fallen for Corbyn's lies.
They released an amendment to the AGM by RNS. CHECK THEM OUT.
Cuckoo,
Please stop your anti-Tory rants. You are so transparent and are taking people on here for idiots. You’re a fool if you think people on here believe you’re apolitical.
For those who have only been on this BB recently, Roo spent months trashing the Tories before the general election and was a recruiting sergeant for his Marxist friends in the Labour Party. His bitterness at the trouncing Corbyn and co is still very raw for him.
All the banks are being compelled to help business stop the economy from collapsing due to CV19 not just Lloyds, so do us a favour Cuckoo and shut up because it’s boring. You’re boring full stop.
Go and take your silly political ramblings to a Marxist blog somewhere else on the internet please.
As yet as you say SUFCESSEX I have seen nothing with regards an official statement from António Horta-Osório or anyone else, if they aren't going to pay a dividend then at least make your shareholders aware officially.
depending on lockdown the money from the divi has not been spent yet or will it , they could give a divi end of year or bigger divi next year .
Good thinker. Don't have a skin full, if you do, swop the mattress.

Lot to be said in withdrawing or reducing your cash. As for the bank lending out your money to others - it's not your money once deposited. That's fractional reserve banking and biggest creator of money - inflation.

I cannot even afford the train fare now from ESSEX
Darknightmy,
I am not discussing this with the country but with a board of investors who are interested. What doesn't unfortunately change for the living is the need to remain solvent and pay our way. If your not interested then suggest you go elsewhere .
unhappy with the banks not paying you a divi (or interest for that matter) like me.
Simple solution is remove your money from accounts and stop lending it them (for nothing) to not reward you for doing so, but only to make them money by lending your money to someone else. Cheeky f**kers they are
Am going to be running my bank accounts as close to zero from now on until i gain some benefit from the shysters.
Off mattress shopping tomorrow.
Excellently put reader61 we need to make as much noise as possible

Dear Tanya,
Are you able to raise the profile of the plight of millions of ordinary investors as a result of the enforced dividend cuts by the Prudential Regulation Authority. Like many others with a draw down pension plus separate shareholdings, I rely for my income on the dividend payouts from UK companies. Whilst I appreciate these are always at risk, this should be the decision of the company board based on their financial position and not a result of political decisions by regulators such as PRA and BOE.
Furthermore, the people making the threats in these organisations are recipient of generous final salary pensions paid for by the taxpayer. They have no skin in the game with the increasing majority in the private sector who do not have these schemes, therefore it is even more important they do not act selfishly to penalise us whilst sitting extremely pretty in their own feathered nests. I do not doubt they would not be so quick to act if there was any impact on their own financial positions. It's about time this lot started to sit in the same lifeboat as the people they charge for their owncomfortable retirement.
Many many people are extremely angry about this interference and the fact that shareholders are often portrayed in the press as having their noses in the trough. For the smaller investors and those trying to avoid awful annuity rates thanks to Gov policy, nothing could be farther from the truth. As you will be aware by investing in companies we allow expansion, recruitment and hopefully profit for those organisations but at the same time we risk our capital saved over many years to provide for ourselves. Additionally the funds invested also contribute to the tax take as the companies spend the cash and of course the Gov also charges stamp duty as we invest plus capital gains should we make a success of the investment.
It's about time somebody stood up for us small investors and highlights the shameful treatment by the civil service bureaucracies, might that be via your own publication?
Sadly it s not contracted. There ought to be an EGM for shareholders to vent their spleen. I think the big drug companies will still pay.
You can only write to your own mp or a minister via your mp. You won't get answers otherwise. Thstnis the system
Something needs to be done about the divedends banks have enjoyed good profits and investors should be rewarded too. Pension funds and hard working families pay in as the government forced upon us . This state of affairs is unlawful a dip in the pond compared to the extra trillion national debt how can we all be so blind
