Darth,
I'm quite happy with G13 description of TBI as "traumatic brain injury " . Rather original !
Keep spreading enlightenment my friend !
Pat1 ,
Bearing in mind today's date , we have about 3 more months of volatility till we get a clearer picture of where asset prices are going . First week in Jan should give us an element of guidance .
My feelings are that NIRP will be a major topic of conversation on here next yr .
Keep well bud !
Darth,
You evidently read my post instead of “ignoring” it as you’ve copied words I’ve used (big big bears). Have you managed to find a post where the be said Lloyds share price won’t go below 25p or are you going to be big enough to say you were wrong ?
Hi J46 - how you doing mate - long time no chat!
Yes wouldn't mind a decent yield here long term especially as part of the reason I jumped in at 28p (I mean at 3.37p we were talking around 12% already - YUM YUM LOL) and so held on through the recent drop to 23p - by the way respect on your 23p prediction - bang on - wish I'd listened to you again (I sold out with a 3.9% loss in July on the back of some of your negativity on here and then made £15K in 2 days in early August on what turned out to be a very quick trade thus recovering my £6.5K loss and making nearly £8.5K profit there) - unfortunately though I jumped the bloody gun again worried it was going back to 30p quickly and going to bob along at that kind of rate between 28-30p for a while and was worth a decent trade in the meantime - how very wrong I was indeed!
Long term though with a 28p average basically I'm hoping I'm onto a winner - God willing and God thanks!
Anyway take care my friend - GL+ATB and look fwd to some future chatting LOL!

"You've had TBI for 4 yrs now !"
Sorry John46, it’s just One of my big bug bears in life, but..
TBI, "To Be Ignored", had been added too with “by me as much as I can”
So therefore, it becomes TBIBMAMAIC…I suppose it’s another way of going Long... longer…..

Folk are chasing yield , all you are doing now is gambling hoping to recoup losses.

I have often blamed many of society's ills on two parent working. For once I agree with you
the only people who should have low interest rates is first time buyers ,all other rates should go up rapidly ,its the low rates that has caused the problem ,it has pushed up house prices as we were all doing buy to let ,and aquiring second homes climbing over each other to make even more dosh,if neg rates are put in place i hate to think for the future stability ,we need to pay tax and get interest on savings if we dont encourage savings we are lost

''Traumatic Brain Injury''
Maybe that is the problem with some posters, but TBI doesn't stand for that.

Indeed LTI,
One of my big bug bears in life is people accusing others of things they haven’t said. At least it’s all write down here but I won’t hold my breath for an apology.
What does TBI mean by the way ? All I can see under 3 lettered acronyms is Traumatic Brain Injury.....lol
some people do not know the difference between 23 and 23.59

''I've yet to read a solution to this two decades old problem.''
Should have stuck (in most cases) with one parent staying at home to care for a couples children until of such an age where that is not required, instead of taxpayers contributing to the care of everyone's children. The whole chain of prices is based on first time buyers affordability
“ SP would not go Sub 25pennies, yet it did, 23pennies..”
Your use of the word ‘sub’ relating to 25 pennies can easily be related to 23 pennies in the same context when used in the same sentence like that.

yes i know, that's why i stated Dec at the latest. They've done all the research, it's primed in my honest opinion.

Darth,
Maybe your English has been clumsy.
Can you quote me just once where I said the share price would not go below 25p please fella. Shouldn’t take you long as my posting history is somewhat shorter than yours.....lol
I think you’ll find all I’ve ever done is pick up on your sub 25p predictions that were wrong. If you can find a post showing me saying the share price won’t go below 25p, I will humbly apologise. I trust you will do the same if you’re wrong.....

i did not state it went below 23p...it hit 23p.
I will not be responding in future, good luck
I do too LTI.
My son doesn’t however and receives cheques. They’re about to stop it to save on postage and cheque costs.

Why have cheques?.I have my monthly premium bond interest/winnings paid directly into my bank account.
