I am looking forward to my largest dividend of the year - the HSBC final next week, but this year it will be matched in June by the HSBC quarterly dividend + 'special'.
Enjoy watching your cash grow by 4% after 12 months - how long do you think you will have to wait for your market crash?

you are not a shareholder - the only bank you currently hold is a £500 investment in metro
Isreal will do as they receive. When Iran cause direct hits with Israeli casualties, then Isreal will return fire.
A matter of time, depending on the mad mullah’s future plans.

''Car loan scandal/ debacle is any easy reference for issue.''
It certainly is for the media, but I prefer 'the car loan farce'

I was thinking the same, but there is a difference between now and then. In 1991 the western led coalition were actively engaged in fighting Iraq so there was no need for Israel to get involved as there was coalition troops on the ground fighting Iraq. This time Israel is isolated in that Iran is not in conflict with anyone else, and Biden has unequivocally told Israel that if the do respond against Iran the US will not get involved so they would have to do it alone. This may be enough to make Netanyahu bite his lip and do nothing.
I can assure you, LTI aka git, I know my posts are proper and correct. Proven before, as you know.
The day all landlords get hammered by a future government, reducing the wasted billions of housing benefits…. that will be a “another good day.”
"If in profit it could be prudent now take some cash, and join back in after the Israelis counter attack and the FTSE goes south again which it will. Now is not the time to sit on to large a holding."
The west did talk Israel into not retaliating in 1991 against Iraq. Can they do it again ? Different time, different people, much to ponder 🤔
I have just read that another swamp dweller is being dragged by its tail from the murky midst.
A Tory MPs has been putting his fingers in the money box.
And they expect me to walk in the rain, snow and hail to vote for theses people.
Well that is it for today of to the garden centre .
IMARIGHT what's going on? You almost did a none nonsensical post 😲

A lasting peace in Northern Ireland.
Terrorists walked free and soldiers got dragged before courts!
Perhaps in todays UK, the soldiers were the extremists!
No politicians who sent soldiers to Northern Ireland or senior army commanders got dragged into courts did they!
Why do so many left wing voters want to make easy money? I thought money was not that important to people with your views . Whether buying their council homes to make a profit, which a many of my own Labour voting family members did, they also bought shares in the privatised industries and sold them as soon as they saw a little profit.
But socialism is a funny ideology is it not, so many people of the people, want to be seen to be above those very same people.
Called, Sir or Lord even Dame, they crave to be one peg up on the plebs.
You see having a title not only makes them feel superior to the low life it brings financial rewards.
I do not hold any of the establishment up on a pedestal and will not be voting for any .
The vote was to hard earned, to be used to feed the present low life, now inhabiting the swamp.
I'm gonna av a funk about that MV 🤔
Well the share is again north of 50p .
If in profit it could be prudent now take some cash, and join back in after the Israelis counter attack and the FTSE goes south again which it will. Now is not the time to sit on to large a holding.
Morning MV, yes I voted Labour back then, but I went from supporting Blair, I ended up abhorring the guy. He did achieve great things in Northern Ireland along with Mo Mowlam, and it seems they have delivered a lasting peach there, a thing once unthinkable. But the way in Iraq, amongst other things, turned the guy into a monster. But seems all these politicians get drunk on power after a while, and they lose their moral compass.
In the upcoming local elections, in the absence of a Workers of Great Britain candidate, of course I will be voting Labour.
Chips.
It was politics that created the mess that this bank is in. Not the everyday share holders, a great many of whom lost money. It is politicians whom knight bankers, for services rendered, but rendered to whom ?
Although they did remove Fred the Shreds Knighthood, gratefully bestowed on him by New Labour.
New Labour once ran TV adverts telling all that everything was Politics everything, things like remembering where to register to vote. Which of two homes was/is your main residence. Remembering to tell the local authority if you were claiming single person council tax allowance !
Dear Chips every thing is political even religion.
🤣🙈🙉🙊😁😜😇............🖕

Who supports Blair.
Well he did get a large majority in 1997 !
I would hazard a guess that you voted New Labour if you were old enough to vote back then!
And not much of a reply , I did answer your questions .
You now support Starmer I would also guess, the man who does not know the difference between a male and a female, but managed to father two children.

80p end of year
So if the liability is built in already, by virtue, it’s holding back the share price and when resolved, in what ever format, the share price should be free from the issue and therefore rise (or worse case fall further). Doesn’t really matter when the liability was factored into the share price, the issue is it’s factored in, so holding back…

Would like that one closed before update as would be very positive & could set us up if update is seen as good by the markets for a run @ 55.17p. About time we had an all time high
A few posters on this board have alluded to the SP being held back by the car loan issue. If you track the SPs of the other UK banks, that view has no basis. I believe that that particular contingent liability was priced in at an early stage. In the meantime the SP momentum driven by a certain large buyer in the market continues at pace. Better days for the LLOY SP are here right now.
