Brixton,
He doesn't need to put the heating on, he's GINGER and only needs 10 minutes sunlight a year!
I actually wonder Gazzleberry what you and Mad Mach are doing on share bulletin boards. Are you actually a Lloyds shareholder or just using this board as a platform for airing your left wing b*llsh*t ?
Gazz
Road kill burgers for supper .
Put the heating on ! !
Gazzleberry,
"Believe me, you do not have the intelligence to read my mind"
I wouldn't want to try to read your mind or be in your head. I would imagine it's pretty scary and confused in there.....
Gazzleberry,
Vegan? No lorne sausage? Healthy heart? Blimey and your Scottish?
Be careful they'll be deporting you!

I'm round the Girlfriends at the mo , gammon , eggs, and chips for brunch but , she won't walk round the house with her t!ts flopping out cos it's cold apparently.
Brixton,
The British government should take this opportunity to set up a "new" British Gas and explore for oil & gas "onshore", it could then supply its own people with discounted petrol and heating.
It could start by exploring the millions of acres of desolate wasteland North of Carlisle!!!!!!
Gazzleberry.....I am only pulling your leg!
Gazz
Example of something !
If the Russians came and stole all your Scottish fish us southerners would be outraged , we would come to your defence one way or another.
Chat is sport sometimes. Have a good day . X
GBerry, maybe you could jump into the passenger seat of Asperger’s Ferrari rather than become an unnecessary burden on the taxpayer. And you write about the “immoral” actions of politicians.. Don’t bother with a response as all I will now see is a green line.
Sorry, should have tagged this into my last post.
If you scroll down you get most of the story without having to subscribe. I remember something about him employing a family member on some crazy salary and then claiming it on expenses?

He definitely knew how to play the game.....

Gazzleberry,
Cheerful post for the weekend.
No care home for me, Ferrari flat out over the cliff top, sorted!
Weren't there some dodgy property deals when Tony Blair and his beloved were still in office? I will have to Google!

"Assuming Thatcher, but I didn't see that one. If it was Thatcher then I entirely agree."
There's a lot you don't see on here machiismo.
Very selective, usually ****ging someone's views because they don't align with your 'holier than thou' moral outlook with your 'I'm right' so you must be wrong attitude.
However, we now know the halo has slipped with your comment above. Join the ranks of the other SNP idiot who resides somewhere north of the border.
You fit in perfectly well with the words of your socialist labour party comrade and Jeremy Corbyn ally, deputy leader Angela Rayner.
Scumbags the pair of you.
Enjoy your weekend all.
Gazzlebury,
You don’t think Blair’s a hypocrite then ? Espousing socialist values whilst lining his pockets in the private sector. Champagne socialist hypocrite of the worst kind. Wonder why he hasn’t given some of his tens of millions of £GBP to the families of the dead and injured soldiers in his GWB’s stooge decision to blunder into Iraq under false pretences.
Give me Thatcher over Blair anytime.
"overseeing one of the biggest economic transformations in the history of mankind"
lost me there.

"Never forget -- Labour closed 4 times more UK coal mines than Thatcher.
Four times."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coal_mining_in_the_United_Kingdom
This suggests it was a more even split - "between 1947 and 1994, some 950 mines were closed by UK governments" approx 50/50, Tories a nose ahead until Major finished it. I wasn't counting in the 70's, I just remember Police sent in by Thatcher to break strikes.
Where do you get your figures of four time more then?
Thatcher beat communism at home and abroad, defeated an evil military dictator who invaded a peace-loving democracy (sounds familiar), while overseeing one of the biggest economic transformations in the history of mankind.
Never forget -- Labour closed 4 times more UK coal mines than Thatcher.
Four times.

"70's Britain was a shocking state"
I grew up in the 70s and agree with that. One of the things I have thought more about as I got older is how close that really was to the end of the war, like 1997 is from now. A better idea of how short twenty five years actually is.
Totally disagree about Thatcher and cant let the "its what the country needed" argument go. I don't think we can reconcile that as in my view the woman was an abomination.
Gazzle
"when you are looking for help, as the vast majority of us will sooner or later, it may or may not be there. Those care fees soon eat into that wealth".
I think you absolutely nailed it there. No way around that particular dilemma for those left who haven't already made a more sudden exit. A question of which fails first, body or mind.
Your wife has to go work shame on you knowing everything about Lloyds and the world of finance.
