Yup, more hard-left hysteria.
It never stops.
Britian is so starving, it is one of the fattest countries in the entire world and the WHO says it will be the fattest in all of Europe by 2030.
You couldn't make this up.
T
''Food shortages within 6 months.''
Not again - we were supposed to be starving from leaving the EU.
We were supposed to be starving from supply chain issues coming out of pandemic lockdowns.
A lot of fat people still around - maybe they could do with a bit of food shortage
Nobody is "ignoring the reality".
The reality (not the perception) is that UK jobs are up, employment is up, retail sales are up, house prices are up, GDP is up.
If the BoE can bring down inflation, the roaring 20s will be back in a flash.
lower the price for our buddies in us for 14.30, lol
*so I don't have to read
Correction
Bitter Remoaners - how tedious zzzzz
Glad I've got that one on filter so at have have to read his excrement anymore.
Mac
Stop the ball ox.
it's even easier for Remainers to say, "we told you so"
Yes machiismo, you should be saying that to Brussels.
We only asked for some small amendment's from the EU and they refused. resulting in a referendum. Oh how Brussels regrets that now….. never mind "we told you so"
"Your side lost - get over it", is the type of immature response I'd expect from a child. Until the consequences of that decision stop being felt, it's entirely reasonable for someone to not be "over it"
We have the highest inflation in the G7 and a most reasonable economists attribute a healthy chunk of that to Brexit. You can't abandon a huge trading bloc on your doorstep, create mountains of paperwork for anyone trying to import goods, and expect it not to affect business in a meaningful way. Food prices have been increasingly steady since Brexit, long before Ukraine happened.
You'd have to be in utter denial to ignore the reality of what is currently happening and it's really sad to do it to save face. It's honestly the worst type of political position, completely devoid of conviction and only interested in "winning"
Sure, you Leavers "won", so for the love of God perhaps take some responsibility for your victory? We are all living with the ramifications of it, and remember, while it's very easy for Leavers to say "you lost - get over it", it's even easier for Remainers to say, "we told you so"
"All said that, post Brexit:
* Food costs will be lower
* Energy costs will be lower
* Taxation will be lower.
Oh well, enough people believed it at the time."
Trouble is the SNP thicko's up there in Perth are still blaming brexit. I wonder who the Europeans and the Yank's are blaming, oh yeah brexit of course.
Yes, UK taxes do need to come down -- by 20% or more.
The red Tories are Corbyn lite.
Not another Remoaner whinging as well. You're not having a good day are you Gazzleberry ?
It may have escaped your attention that food prices are going up worldwide as are energy prices and taxation has had to go up for the pandemic costs, none of which was foreseen at the time of the referendum. Your side lost - get over it.
Are we still on about that? It never happened anyhow we are still bowing down with cap in hand to the EU today. Article 16 needs to be used ASAP so the promises can be delivered and the dream fulfilled. Problem is parliament no longer represents the people and the democratic process. We are now destined to be in limbo where they wait it out so the media can sell the EU federalist dream back to the youth of today. End of subject for me. Any LLOYDS talk here this year do you think? I'm bet against.
House prices leaping...
Retail sales jumping...
Unemployment near its lowest ever level...
Job openings near a record high...
Wages (nominal) rising at a controlled pace...
GDP up YoY...
Only inflation (mostly imported) is preventing the UK from a post-Brexit boom...
British retail sales jumped unexpectedly in April, official data showed on Friday, but the outlook for consumer spending remained resolutely downbeat as the cost-of-living crunch intensifies.
Retail sales volumes rose by 1.4% month-on-month last month after a 1.2% drop in March.
Economists polled by Reuters had expected a 0.2% monthly fall in retail sales.
The wider picture, however, remains weak.
Retail sales in the three months to April fell 0.3%, after a 0.7% drop in March.
