"Having a p!zz at 3 in the morning is a bonus , had 2 heart attacks aged 48 , still fag it and drink like a fish "
This reminded my of and epitomises a quote from an American author Hunter S Thompson who said
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride"
Brixton, tin hats on for a bit of strategic news at the Mining conference next week ,funding by Lloyds for renewable energy ??,they in on decobinising plant at Grimsby I think ..

''Didn't want to but sold a 5th of holding in case ''
I think you did want to, which is why you did so.
I sold some at 45.6p because I wanted to.
Nothing wrong with you selling 20% if in profit, even if you think you could get more in the future.
I will most likely make further small sales at higher levels, before in my view Lloyds gets to be fully valued by the market, purely to reduce my large holding and further reduce my average price.
Didn't want to but sold a 5th of holding in case we get a pull back next week to cover my arse
“Make hay while the sun is shining”
I too will be taking some profits, have you seen the weather forecast for next week? :). And that gap!
Hi Tally,
I don’t hold it for a set price like Falky does. I sell progressively as each position hits my mentally set profit target. Then as it retraces, I buy those positions back. Sometimes it doesn’t retrace enough to buy.....
Now down to 1.5 million shares. Currently banking around £3k a day as profits.
Make hay while the sun is shining.
Good luck everyone
