as per my post yesterday re: placing. Possibly up to 33% dilution to pay salaries, etc.
I don't see anything on the AGM agenda to vote this out of suspension. Seriously, do they expect shareholders to vote and carry on as if nothing has happened, and re-elect the directors, with the company in the midst of an oil price boom, Covid announcements excepted, and the shares lolling around their lows in suspension. Bloody cheek. This company should be awash with money, and the share price nearing the top of the share price range given the circumstances. And they now want us to vote to keep them on the Gravy train.....................Seriously?
This sounds like good news to me, this will get sorted out and the company can move forward.
Is this not another three mouths to feed or are Lekoil (very) ltd going to get shot of some existing members of the bod ? Or a placement to keep them in salaries ? Who knows, at least something is going on I guess. GLA, Dan
Directorate Changes. looks good.
They have also added the mid price back into the basic portfolio function. Thought my 'total value' was better than it actually is (also includes my other suspended stock ICON). I am at a similar loss here, LeeRex, just shy of £3.5K. GLA, Dan
Lee Rex, same my last one was AAOG and I said never again invest in Africa oil and gas! Then got carried away with PO and the low mcap, chasing loses from else where.
LSE rarely have LEK available for chat function, surprised it's here and live..
I don't have as much as most in this DOG, but I'll stand to lose £2'500 if the buggers don't sort it..
AFRICA!!!! Why did I do it to myself, again
This sounds to me as though it’s been put out for a reason, decent production levels and Oil at a recent high.
Hopefully they can sort internals out ?
From bad to worse.
PI's will be lucky to get anything back from this crock!
So they gave us the operational update but what was the corporate part of their update (nothing about chasing Olekan for the millions owed, weird) ?
Agreed, absolute nonsense. A write -off for sure this one.
I mean why release that, is it to say hey look, we are turning a coin in Nigeria and you PI are left with your money vastly depleted and possibly stuck in suspension, most likely to lose a whack more. Lekan get your finger out and pay back all the folk who has thrown millions to your venture.
Honestly not entirely sure why this company is still suspended, and i am beginning to think they should just agree with lekoil nigeria and try and move forward. the potential is huge but it's all got a bit petty.
So Lekoil nigeria are basically saying that the agreement with Lekoil PLC only gives them rights to 40% of dividend payouts, but they don't pay dividends. so what on earth was the 2013 agreement for? how have they survived this long?!
Could not help myself lol

RE: Promising updateToday 20:47
There are some shockingly badly run companies on aim and this one is in the running for the cup.
When you look into those other companies and the so called money's they're owed, i'm not too sure it adds up. I'm not even sure they still have a license for OPL 310. It's so messy, but at the end of the day it all comes down to the 40% buy in to lekoil nigeria.
Just need the AIM suspension lifted.
The paying in shares is also promising. The loans owing and the oil production puts this as a major player if the internal stuff can be soughted out
not trading i mean.
RNS out today. still unlisted.
On 30 September 2021, the Company announced that trading in the Company's Ordinary Shares ("Shares") on AIM would be suspended (under AIM Rule 19) with effect from 7.30 a.m. on 1 October 2021 pending publication of the Accounts, which has now been complied with.
Notwithstanding this, the Company has been advised by its nominated adviser that trading in its Shares will remain suspended (under AIM Rule 40) until such time as it has clarified, for the purposes of the AIM Rules, its relationship with its operating subsidiary. The Company will provide updates on the suspension when it has further information.
Surely they can’t just run off with people’s money
Ditto five j
Any light at the end of the tunnel seems far off on both stocks I'm afraid!
Some sort of miracle required urgently!
I’ll file this one with my AAOG shares.
Finding it difficult to understand any of this company and what it is, not that that matters much now. RNS 20/May/2014 might be where the 40% of Lekoil Nigeria came from - am I on the right tracks? GLA, Dan.
