yup : share price irrelevant here. the main thing is that you are still holding once a deal is done.
though I have to agree that current market is ideal for those looking to buy assets.
in addition to that I fully expect another oil-cycle ($100 / barrel) in 3-5 years time.
shale has become un-financiable.
therefore when global economy finally recovers from covid oil will be very much in demand once again.
good luck all.
Nice to see £1 - back to IPO price which I think given what’s happened to the oil market since then is a bargain.
Well said Munch, well said.
I just thought it odd that the sp was moving up on no trades, which seems unusual to me. But as you say - the pre-deal sp is irrelevant.
As haggis rightly said yesterday "Ignore share price and sit on your hands until deal is done and company has fundamentals"
It's a near perfect storm approaching for us to get a cracking result. Small, nimble and payment by results rather than fat salaries is the order of the day. I'm in BLOE and we pulled a cracking deal with Schlumberger recently. The usual message board Eeoyres were all saying that it was 'too good to be true, no one gives away profitable assets cheaply..etc, .but they do.
What is a great earner for a £10m cap company is an inconvenience for the real big beasts. In the current climate, not worth keeping their business running in Georgia for maybe a few thousand bopd.
WS. The sp is irrelevant to what we are waiting for.
Yes it’s good that it’s blue during the bloodbath but 94-95p to sell when I could have bought 11k at 88p start of the week is a great positive move up.
I really hope these kick on from here and close £1.05 on the ask with 98p on the bid.
Every 1p movement is £700 for me so I’m happy as long as we going up and not down.
Just ask some bp or shell investors How they feel and the word “ trapped” comes to mind.
Not sure if MMs ****ing around again, but got a quote of 94.8p to sell. Perhaps someone's got an order in
Paul. Exactly what I was thinking. 100% that Anyone playing hardball Will come away with the full house.
I really believe this negative sentiment will give in and the nice little nudge up is good Omens.
I’ve got nearly 70k shares and for me it feels safer than gold plays , I love the fact it’s not volatile like every other stock at this moment.
Just hit £1 on the ask.
It would be nice to think this market carnage is playing into LBE’s hands just at the right time.
Not bad on a day when oil has tanked and most other oil companies are down though, so not complaining!
Todays movement is just the market makers playing games
92p to sell but 97p to buy. Spread is huge (5%)
Ignore share price and sit on your hands until deal is done and company has fundamentals
Buy price holding up, 94.94p paid a few mins ago. Could very well be last chance to get in or top up under £1.
Rockrose energy is the footprint.
Andrew Austin made more in a few years than this bod made in over a decade.
They will 100% look to follow that footprint and even as a starter I’m more than happy with a RTO that carries decommissioning costs because you get the asset for peanuts like Rockrose did.
However I seriously hope that these guys bite something very big indeed and would love the word Exxon fields types next to RTO. That would be something else. MMS would get so scared we not only relisting 100% .... we actually being marked up a further 100% with panic buying lol.
It’s all in the name.
Rockrose got Marathon .... that was a big one .... Exxon is even bigger.
Interest returning here! Back above £1 by tomorrow EOD
Another 2041 shares added.
Hope it comes before Santa does
Fingers crossed all
Low volume and large spread over the past week.
Looks like the market is quite tight at the moment.
Everyone sitting on their hands now?
So I’m getting 98.8p to buy through normal trading platform for 5k shares.
Tried cfd and they giving me 95p for only 2k shares at a time.
So like a beggar I put through 4 transactions with my cfd for 2k shares each for a total of 8k shares like a beggar .....
There will come a time very very soon when the market will be begging for my shares.
Let the game begin.
