The main problem is the tunnel getting longer and longer....is it wonder you can't see the light????....I am still holding so hopefully there is a light somewhere...until then, shoved it in the bottom of the bottom drawer..(got a bit of room now as moved few others to the one above....ATB.
I think everyone has said almost everything there is to say here. My mum always told me to finish my dinner before I got desert . KZG have opened a whole box of puddings and havent taken more than 2 bites of the dinner. Its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel that was mentioned earlier..
Thanks, Poppyseed. That report is indeed detailed. An inhospitable stretch of coast.
So, clearly, the appointment of Dennis Edmonds was indeed connected to a major corporate event. A lot of negativity around but, personally, I’m minded towards researching the history of and the prospects for our new additions before I can arrive at any judgement.
Generally, I take the point of potentially spreading the jam too thinly before the first pot of jam from the first pick of fruit has still to reach consumers. However, as an investment company, I can also see sense in KZG not letting opportunity pass by while also broadening the Company’s portfolio. Not least so as not to be stuck with the perils of being a one trick pony but I think there must also be considerable potential merits for the Global Trading arm of the prospect of early stage production of an enhanced range of commodities.
The key, of course, will be whether the new additions are as near-term cash generative as is promised. I guess they also provide a safety net of freeing KZG to accept an offer of majority or full disposal of an asset and still have a purpose.
Anyway, early research has turned up enough to suggest this deal may have been on the cards for some time and also that the acquisitions are already as active as is suggested.
For example, in respect of the WHM acquisition, here's a very detailed and recently produced "Mine Work Programme for the mining of the heavy mineral sand resource at Walviskop, Port Nolloth". Recent because it refers in para 2.2.4(h) to fuel prices from 5 Feb 20. I note in particular the use of the word "will", not "would" or "if".

Seems to me that Dennis Edmonds is 100% connected to the introduction of these opportunities to KZG and his arrival as a Director to oversee/drive these projects is more than just good fortune.
I think the term "investment company" is probably untrue at the moment. They have purchased fixed assets that have produced absolutely no value, "investment" infers that there is some sort of growth in the value from the asset.
I'm unhappy and surprised by this RNS. I am disappointed that my holding has effectively halved with no evidence of near term recovery in the SP.
The only silver lining and ray of hope for near term value is securing a strategic partner for NTI. Secretly I hope there is another RNS very soon, which will reset this SP near fairer value.
Always dangerous strategy holding hoping 4 recovery I sold out good while back along with ironveld at big loss.as I said 2 investments both long way off b4 any income coming in many warrants given too all cronies of GC.big raise at .5p. Raise funds. No investment by LJ ever as ceo.often very rarely investment companys reward small private investors.
The only reason I haven't sold out of this is because my average is 4.9p. I will never see that back and I have accepted as much, for me its simply now a trainwreck writeoff. For those of you seemingly worshipping LJ, this is a man who has driven the share price down to 0.2p with the dead-dog bounce up to 0.5p before today's announcement that they are investing in another non-producing asset. This now increases overheads whilst they attempt to battle to get two unproducing mines online now. Money doesn't grow on trees and the future is very very scary to say the least.
