Definitely worth checking out Markyess posts from around 6/11/19 and @JMHDeakin on Twitter who writes Cube.Investments @cubeinvests. Joel Deakin was also at the presentation evening.
Just to add Keras has a very simple business plan and will be starting to make money next quarter, the very low Mn price permitting. This price seen as very temp and the BFS should be released soon when permit fully released and Togo govt allow Scoping study also starting for the potential to produce manganese sulphate for the battery and fertiliser industries. Production of 6,500 tons per month set to quickly rise through the year to 17,200 tpm.
All good, expect the sp to pick up again towards year end when full license paperwork complete. Wet season then may delay us a little before making money in Q1 2020
Hi Billy, please don't take my short handed replies as surliness:
* Placing referred to Calidus, NOT Keras - Calidus will require both a placing and loan financing to take to production * Keras production is unbelievably low cost and based on a tolling model, no retained cost and no cost until a shovel hits the ground * Current Keras overheads are around £95k a year * Additional per Tomat's post
Surprising how many different versions of events/timeframes/outcomes were stated by our various investment companies on the lead up to our Calidus distribution. Mine (Tilney Best invest) didn't have the foggiest what was happening or what they were going to do. I set them right, ha ha. Although i'll be happier to see them golden tickets in my accounts rather than MIA, like now!. :o).
Can others please confirm when this share is going ex CALIDUS. Jarvis Corporate action Dept tell me today was record date not ex date ?? I asked them to read today's rns .. which they did and refer to London stock exchange detail . They insist 21st is the new ex date brought forward from 26th so tomorrow trading Ex ???
I think we are talking different timescales. I didn't think a Placing was imminent; that was just the impression I got However, he is hardly going to broadcast things, though is he. I just can't see how it affects whether you buy or not. Placings go with the territory and if you trust the management they are actually a good thing.
Hi Billy, I just back paged to find comments other attendees at the investor evening made. Markyess said “ The differential from current market price is not even a short term concern. The market was flooded with low cost low grade material from S. Africa this year and that will flow through during the winter and will correct in the new year, as it could lead to some higher cost operators closing down (demand won't however dry up...)
The Manganese process is managed by stockpiling which means there is protection from unit cost drops. There are funding mechanisms in place to allow companies to hedge, at low cost, until reasonable market price is established - Keras has facilities lined up if it needs them. On top of that there are guaranteed price deals with off take partners that mitigates the volatile 'market' price. In short, the current low unit market price is *categorically no threat* to the Keras business model, short, medium or long term.” I see you’ve posted again while I was looking that up, & that you attended too, but posting that again anyway, in case Markyess found that out in a one-to-one conversation rather than from the presentation.
Who said they need a placing?. Didn't need one to get Togo where it is now. If the price is what it is now, why do you think will they start mining ?. To me the lower the Mn price at the moment the better. Future development paid by offtaker- although agreed need Mn to increase first
Can any genuine LTH please tell me what I am missing here....
My research shows that docs still awaiting re the Exploration permit. Placing potentially required in short term. Once ex permit completed, production starts with current avg price of $2.61 compared to cost price of approx $3.2. DFS figures based upon $4.5 to achieve Loan potentially needed to increase production in 2020.
I am aware that costs are bottom quartile and the current avg price bounced off a low of $2.52 this week.
I see some here are suggesting a mkt cap equating to £50m (before any dilution)???
Not selling, have more now than I started with today. I see your point but it is interesting to see what the market will accept, the actual bid went up over a short period when they would not take 4 m then they would.... guess what... two 1m buys popped up last call. Conversely lots of dummy sells with no one transacting may actually help stimulate a move up as it shows the market people are not willing to sell at that price :)
I think we held up really well today. hopefully we can get some more TOGO specific (or something else) news soon. MM seem caught out this morning which is nice to see, why o why could the current apparent value for KRS seen today not be shown until now....
on AIM unless you hit it lucky on one or two of the latest rockets. Grateful to be ahead overall with the anticipation that the best by far is still to come, and not in the distant future either. Let the news from both KRS and CAL be the driver of a great outcome for all. ATB. :o).
