I don't think Ali wants to dilute shareholders. He'll be mindful of the Asos days and that will drive us focused attention on sourcing other funding options!
Buffet....no.I am just doing the calculation as if I were in his shoes. Hopefully he will want a good return, but it will be well after 2022 unfortunately
TallPaulNY are you suggesting that he would rather let it go to the wall? If so not sure about this strategy! With the right backing this can surely surpass the 60p. The focus seems to have sharpened hence better and improved trading figures. He did say in the evening standard article it will be profitable in 2022, so some way to go yet.
Buffetology. Ali owns 8.5% of the company 33million shares. To get his £20m back they would have to offer 60p a share valuing the company at £240 million
Although analysts at Hardman & Co are bullish about its chances, risks such as a slower uptake of e-commerce or new entrants could hold the retailer back. It will probably have to raise more cash too. “If you take investors’ money, you have an obligation to deliver returns on them. We’re going to win the race that we’re in, our brand is going to win in India,” says Alli, confident Koovs will be in the black by 2022-23.
Evening standard extract suggests raising more money!! Have we time to raise more capital?
After investing already £20m would Lord Ali really want to let this fail!? Come on!
Please explain how Koovs are profitable!
This is going to succeed. Why would Lord Ali waste his time promoting this through his evening standard article some months back stating that it will be hard work but it succeed for it not too. As someone said sometime ago even with a little further dilution if required, this will still have a small proportion of shares in issue compared to Boo.
There is no change from Previous RNS from KOOV... but due to RISE they had to put RNS... I can see this BUBBLING again...
Some decent size buys going through now.
I say this is a buying opportunity for the following reasons -
1) Lord Ali is heavily invested and can't see him letting this go down
2) FLFL are committed and they have acquired lots of money over the last 24 hours.

3) So its the red tape of RBI holding this back.
4) KOOV is profitable
5) The opportunity is huge here for KOOV

Of course there is always risk and the last part of today's RNS has scared a lot of people including me
