Ziq,
I think that you could well be right. Looked at another way, it is a good hedge against the downside risks.
If it is a hedge move, then it could mean:
(1) They reckon that the SP won't go below the 0.063 level or, if it does, it won't be for long and the SP will come back up;
(2) They think that there is a relatively near term potential uptick in the pipeline for them to sell in to e.g. announcement of the ML being signed
These boys will have a good insight into KOD's current financial status and any future potential. Nothing unsavoury in that, far from it, they simply need to understand the risks before lending their hard earned wonga to KOD.
So, for me, and IMHO, I see this RNS as positive overall - but I may be badly wrong of course.
DYOR and RYOC please.
TWK - listening to Doc Holliday recounting the Gunfight at the OK Corral and thinking ................... "Gunfight of the Day" , hosted by Both Barrels Lineker, would have made a great Saturday night TV programme.
Nowt left but saw dust and BE's left over Kod and chip paper :) Buy now last chance!!

or perhaps they see a potential down side by not converting. like, we cant pay them, because we dont actually make anything, all we do..... is study things..... fact find.... see what weve got, seee how much more we might think weve got.... then study and test to see if its true, then research and then study that research...ad nauseum, infinitum, until we need to rope someone else in with a promise of jam tomorrow (to coin a labour phrase)..... it would be unprecedented (to coin a conservative phrase).... except its not, we set a precedent for this long ago....
Surely they must see a potential upside to their "in" price, or they wouldn't convert?
I imagine there will be a consolidation with a large placing, rinsing us all out.
Correct Donny92, it means they are now in the canoe with the rest of us, so budge over. It means that they now also have to suffer the ever increasing issue of equity, so that we can raise funds, to discover more material, that we can raise funds for to do studies on how to get it out of the ground, so that we can raise funds so that we can engineer the correct and most profitable extraction method and before you know it, gold will have to be at £1million an ounce for us to break even, but, we can issue some equity so that we can fund and form a study group to see how long it will be before we ralise that the only person getting rich out of this, is the head cheese.
FJ I know it's frustrating but in the grander scheme of things, 85 million shares really isn't that big of a deal compared to the what 11 billion floating around?
By them converting, am I right in thinking that that is $70k less we owe them?
I miss ARahim.....
well, we have just had a new RNS and that mens that if the share price does hit 0.11 as you suggested, that will be over 50% instant profit and thus, selling and profit taking, so, i doubt this will climbe above 0.08 in the foreseeeable.
As I couldn't find any basis for Ufo,Sar, bzt, mtl, alba and MLL's rise, then I compered kodal with them, and I found a multi-billion company is coming forward to back up/deal with Kodal like Newmount with omi. Is there any mini-cap Company you know who has potential(jv) like kodal has? Please do inform us so that we can make some money.
Really? Any basis for that rather bold assertion of value?
I couldn't find any reason why kod should not be traded over .11p by Friday? Let's see how MMS and all negative think tank can offset kod's share price. We are watching
