To answer on criticism/credibility (in case bills comment was at me). I dont post often here (or anywhere really) but ….Am a holder, a medium-ish term KOD sufferer and enthusiast. Since the random rise and speeding ticket RNS of April/May time last year. Have been in, out, in again, out again, have enjoyed the past few weeks / months and missed the last rise and fall but had a few and added more from .12 all the way up here
Am just observing a pattern of behaviour of a couple of measures and pondering /interested to see what happens next… having watched other similar situations.
If we hold vol and liquidity we are ok. I agree with and want for that.
666,373,324 BUYS
391,538,418 SELLS
274,834,906 more shares bought than sold today. Just shows the buying power is still there :-)
Contemplating dipping my toe in again. There weren't more buys than sells though. Quite a few taking profits because of the time line I should imagine. The share price will probably retrace now until news comes. It will be at least three weeks I think. Am not expecting anything riveting on the the gold news front really.
Well said b1ll could not have put it better myself. Best post of the day by a country mile. Now we really SHOULD STOP REPLYING TO OR ENGAGING these types
Hi folks, I'd just like to thank all the posters that don't hold any shares in this company for giving their objective opinions.
The good investors of this world really do appreciate your altruistic actions and in no way think that you are struggling to get over being a non holder.
I personally think there is no better way to spend your time than give un-qualified investing advice.
I'm not being sarcastic, not one bit. I really mean I'm not being sarcastic. Thanks again.
I have to disagree with you, there was double the amount of buys compared to sells today. Going off the number of people posting on this board has no reflection on the SP either.
Like you say the fundamentals have not changed. The past few days have just been the market traders playing games to make the share drop so they scare people into selling so they can buy in at a lower amount before the news gets released so they reep the rewards and denie those that sold of making a potentially life changing amount (depending how many shares they have/had).
agree with you in that the volume today isn't to be sniffed at and if it holds (around 2k trades and 1bn+ moved) then that would do nicely. something to watch, as the day change is striking
I disagree. 1bn isn't too shabby. Of course, compared with yesterday's 3.5bn it looks small but it is higher than average, and we need to remember that almost half of yesterday's volume was realised on the way down from the day's high.
Au contraire, it's reassuring that there has been no dumping today. To be honest, most traders would have left yesterday.
Trade volume drop today of over 60%. Fair warning of a shift backward in liquidity and almost certainly traders having moved on. Significant reduction in chat volume too.
Doesn't have to mean that share price will drop, as fundamentals are identical. But it is not something to ignore.
If tomorrow sees another significant drop in both items again (as daft as the chat volume is) its unlikely price can possibly hold without news to improve the fundamental position.
